Thank you for sharing, Ceri and I am sorry for the bad part and for everyone who experienced loss and pain during this transit. It seems big things are bound to happen with it, touching the essence of life.

Transit Pluto squared Saturn a few years before my Saturn Return. This was when the fun part of being a 20-something ended. Becoming more aware of my age, and starting to get physically tired. Hard work, progress the following the year. In retrospect, more structure and discipline in preparation for the Saturn return.

Ah, remember I had this transit a couple of years ago, all combined with my Pluto/Saturn square and the big Uranus/Pluto square--with Neptune transiting directly over my Sun in 8th.

My Cancer Saturn is at 12 degrees, and my Libra Pluto is at 8. So immediately after Pluto squared my natal Pluto, it began to oppose my natal Saturn, and Uranus began to oppose my natal Pluto while squaring my natal Saturn.

At the same time, Neptune was transiting over my 8th house Sun, opposing my Moon, and squaring my Nodes.

This all went on for a few years.

My step-dad did pass while Uranus was squaring my Saturn exact, and Pluto was 1-2 degrees from opposing my Saturn. That was very sad, but not unexpected. Neptune in my 8th may be telling there as well.

Otherwise, there were disruptions to my daily life, renovations in our house that were loud and annoying... And I had to come to terms with the fact that my husband hated his job and was miserable (his Uranus is conjunct my Pluto at 10 Libra, so he was becoming restless and dissatisfied with his work and our home--his Uranus is conjunct his MC), and we planned to sell our nice little house and try to find a different life.

That was difficult, and created a lot of turmoil for us, as his Sag Asc and Aquarius Mars are often a bit...unrealistic for my Virgo Moon and Cap Mars.

We sold our house and moved, and although we had made enough from the sale to buy a home outright somewhere else, we couldn't decide WHERE we wanted to settle. So we ended up traveling for almost a year, which was tiresome but also very fun and a neat experience.

We finally bought a home in the Midwest (pretty far from where we come from), and that didn't pan out...not for us, etc. So we moved to Montana. Then I became pregnant, and we needed to go back to a steady job and insurance, and we ended up back in my home town by chance (or by Saturn conjunct my NN and then opposing my asteroid Karma).

So. It was long, disruptive, tiresome, interesting, and definitely an adventure. Yes, I did have a family member pass...again that was sad, but his health was very poor unfortunately, and we knew it would have to happen at some point.

You can get through it, Ceri. I promise. I embraced the changes I knew were coming with the transits, gritted my teeth through Uranus squaring my Saturn when all I wanted to do was get in my car and drive forever and not deal with home renovations or a husband who was fed up with his job.

We're still married, we have a very amazing little baby, and our family is happy and well. We have a new (to us) house in my hometown, close to my family, so our kids benefit from that, and if I want to be honest, so do I. We love our home, if not our neighbors, lol.

So of course like all transits, just try to go with the movement of them and they'll adjust your life accordingly.

^ I'm really sorry if I sound like I'm pontificating there.

That's not how I mean it...

Also, will you let me know when you've seen my post, Ceridwen? I may decide to edit, of course.
Or not.

Thank you.

It's too early in the morning here for me to decide whether or not I want to bother editing it out, lol.

Sending you lots of good energy for your transit.

Ah, so you have.

At least you're moving with it, and accepting of it. I'm sorry for your hardships, but so happy for you for the birth of your nephew.

Bump!

Any more insights about hard Pluto/Saturn transits?

I would especially appreciate input from Saturn in Libra people getting square from transiting Pluto

I am almost certain that someone in my life will die when I experience Pluto's conjunction to my Saturn, likely my father if he's still alive when I experience it. If he dies before the transit begins, it might be my mother that dies. I know that predicting death is a bit irresponsible, but realistically, I would be old enough to lose one of them at that time. When I experience the transit, I will be in my early 40's and both my parents will or would be in their 70's. It will be over 15 years from now that I experience Pluto's conjunction to my Saturn. Hopefully, the transit won't be too awful.
