I might come back later with more, but I'll share my moon now...

Moon

13-14 deg Leo: A Human Soul Seeking Opportunities For Outward Manifestation

Leo Moon in 10th. Yeah. Nailed it.

Kansas - The Wall

Such a lovely thread

Just Sun and Moon tonight

Sun 21 Virgo

Moon 15 Leo

A Pageant, With Its Spectacular Floats, Moves Along A Street Crowded With Cheering People

Jupiter

14-15 deg Taurus: Head Covered With A Rakish Silk Hat, Muffled Against The Cold, A Man Braves A Storm

I'm taking the easy interpretation for this one. Why not? It is Jupiter after all. If you listen closely, there's also some 7th house Jupiter square that 10th house moon implications.

REO Speedwagon - Ridin' the Storm Out

Chiron

18-19 deg Pisces: A Master Instructing His Disciple

Sorry for repeating a band. But this song is so very appropriate for the intersection of Chiron with this Sabian.

Kansas - He Knew

Perfect

I love that we both have athletic sun Sabians.

Awesome

What's more Leo than a giant stadium full of people cheering?

GB

He had a thousand ideas
You might have heard his name
He lived alone with his vision
Not looking for fortune and fame
Never said too much to speak of
He was off on another plain
The words that he said were a mystery
Nobody's sure he was sane
But he knew
Knew more than me or you
No one could see his view
Where was he going to?
He was in search of an answer
The nature of what we are
He was trying to do it a new way
He was bright as a star
But nobody understood him
His numbers are not the way
He's lost in the deepest enigma
That no one's unraveled today
But he knew
He knew more than me or you
No one could see his view
Oh, where was he going to?
And he tried
But before he could tell us he died
When he left us the people cried
Where was he going to? Oh.

And a couple that just don't fit...

Sun

22-23 deg Gemini: Three Fledglings In A Nest High In A Tree

What...?!? I have no idea how this relates to my sun.

OK, I could go with "Gemini Dreams" just generically. or maybe "Fly Like an Eagle"... All right... closest I can come, though not what I would pick first to represent my Sun if the Sabian wasn't involved.

Lynyrd Skynyrd - Freebird (live)

Sabian aside, this for my 8th house Gemini sun.

Jackson Browne - Runnin' On Empty

Mars

27-28 deg Taurus: A Woman, Past Her “Change Of Life”, Experiences A New Love

Um... Really?!? REALLY?!?

OK. Fine. You get this. At least she has Mars in Taurus...

Madonna - Like a Virgin

Maybe it's because my Mars is too close to my 8th house cusp, but if I'm picking a Mars in Taurus song, I'm going this by Venus in Taurus Ann Wilson...

Heart - Crazy On You

I too don't get some of my Sabians. Here are some I can relate to:

Venus: 8-9 deg Virgo
An Expressionist Painter At Work

I can definitely imagine this song playing in the background while I'm at my easel --
Sébastien Tellier - L'amour naissant

Mercury: 4-5 deg Scorpio
A Massive Rocky Shore Resists The Pounding Of The Sea

Another Sebastian Tellier** number. The name literally means "the refrain". There are many versions of it (there's another version that I like) - but this is the original. I love how it's got a beautiful "refrain" throughout that subtly wells up and ebbs away. Just like the tides of the ocean. When I listen to this, it feels like waves relentlessly trying to carve their way into the shore.

Sébastien Tellier - La Ritournelle

Mars: 1-2 deg Scorpio
A Delicate Bottle Of Perfume Lies Broken, Releasing Its Fragrance

I love, love this imagery. Not sure this fits the profile of my mars in it's entirety - but is a part of it.

Can't quite find a song to capture the essence. Will update if I do.

** Just found out his sun is on my Asc in early Pisces, and his moon in Cancer could be conjunct my SN (depending on ToB).

I have that song too!! At first when I was listening to L'amour naissant I thought "That's quite a familiar beat" and then I clicked on La Ritournelle and it all made sense. Good song . This is actually my Pluto sabian too.

Haha.. yeah.
Thanks..
There's another in the Lámour-series which sounds similar. More piano and a quieter sound though. I think he likes to take one melody and play with it, making subtle changes - taking it in different directions.

I'm curious what volume you prefer?

Lovely...

I see what you mean.

And I like to think of your strong synastry with him; I like imagining you as similar to this music...funky, persevering, taking things as they come, without missing a beat.

Me, too. Mysterious, scary (watch out for those shards) and lovely all at once.

(Yes I love making lists of adjectives. One is never sufficient!)

I'm sorry, what volume do you mean..?

And yeah, usually I don't like "electronic" sounding music, but his has some muted orchestral swells that sound like they're coming from very far away..I keep waiting for that part.

Teehee!!
Omg I'm so dense.

Depends on the mood, but mostly I'd say quiet, pretty quiet.. (In that scene, at least).
:edit: Point being.. In general, I like music blocking out the rest of the world, sort of. So it's not necessarily loud, but it'll be noise-cancelling for sure. Coz it'll be in headphones. While painting, it'll be on speaker..so, soft is better.

How do you like it?

Gooood morning to you too, Faithy!

Love that image.

#SeaVacation next. Or anything with a shoreline.

You know, people love beaches for the sun (and the waves) - but I hate sunny weather. I love beaches like this - when it's cloudy out. It's almost like the sea and the sky are one.

Nah, you're smart, you were thinking of how sometimes albums are released in volumes.

When I was listening to this I kept fidgeting with the volume, something I don't usually do.

Then I imagined painting and needing the volume JUST RIGHT or else it would drive me bonkers and inhibit my painting. But with optimal volume and clarity, it would be supportive of my emotional health and focus.

Yes, I prefer it on the quiet side, too.

Glad we agree on this. It felt important.

Yeah!
I know what you mean. When you're painting, it has to be *just right*..

I love sunny weather but prefer to be by the ocean when it's cold and dreary. Yes...what you said...it all blurs together and I'm part of it, in the sea mist. Exhilarating.

Something vaguely spooky about the music...hospital-like. Perfect match there.
