The Sabian also reminded me of Maria Callas' Habanera (Carmen).

Honestly, there's quite a few I could have chosen for that one come to think of it. A lot of beautiful voices out there. It's sad that Maria Callas's voice was destroyed in the end .

Just scrolling through the Sabians seeing what catches my interest...

I've got Karma @ 17 Libra. How appropriate, then:

Two Men Placed Under Arrest

Morrissey - Suedehead

"I'm so sorry."

^^

I saw that sabian and was wondering what song could possibly match it because I couldn't think of any. That's a good one!

Thanks Good song for Karma, maybe not for other planets?

edit - Another possibility:

Townes van Zandt - Pancho and Lefty

I love that song.

Yes it would be more like Bonnie and Clyde!

Though I personally just have a one song fits all planets as long as they have the same Sabian symbol.

Argh but I forgot it was two men. Technicalities Edited my post.

Makes sense. Sometimes it's hard enough to just find one song that fits.

Could be some song about two men dueling over a woman (& both getting *busted* for it).

But if it's a real duel one of them dies.

In which case our song is....

The Streets of Laredo

I just need to find a matching Sabian.

----

But I do like the idea of a bar fight song for that Sabian!

I just wanted an excuse to play Streets of Laredo. I love cowboy music.

If somebody's Venus is at 5-6 deg Libra:
A Man Watches His Ideals Taking A Concrete Form Before His Inner Vision

Gotta be a romantic 80's power ballad.
Foreigner - I've been waiting for a girl like you

That's my Venus-Mars midpoint. My ex played this song for me. *sniff*

( :edit: Coz I dunno birthtime and Venus switched signs that day, so more than a couple degrees either way is a stretch)

^^ I know right? But I love it. 8H moon, gotta have some melodrama.

@Elysia,

Thank you.

You know what's funny to me? I was looking through these and thinking, "This Wheeler lady wasn't romantic enough. Not enough mushy stuff here ."

But yours is good and romantic.

Well guess what, her Venus is @ 5-6 Libra!
http://www.astro.com/astro-databank/Wheeler,_Elsie

But she has Venus conjunct Uranus in an air sign, maybe that's why the Sabians aren't really what I would call sentimental.

Her moon's in Pisces but right on the Aries Cusp and sextile Gemini ASC-Neptune...more upbeat.

Ok, gotta go live a little.

Have a nice day, anyone reading this.

Yeah..

Seems to me like :

12-13 deg Leo

An Old Sea Captain Rocking Himself On The Porch Of His Cottage

(reminiscing).

Or..

12-13 deg Taurus

A Porter Carrying Heavy Baggage

(musical voice-over telling his story in the form of a song. "Baggage" being both literal and symbolic here).

Or..

13-14 deg Cancer

A Very Old Man Facing A Vast Dark Space To The Northeast

(singing to himself)

I know right?
I expected something mushier too. Well, I went ahead and made it mushier.

I guess the Uranus flavouring her Venus explains it.

Thank you!

Good day, everybody.

Funny!!! Loved it. (I tried to conquer that piece myself! I don't have the speed in my hands.) That pianist is AWESOME!, and the Creativity a stitch!!!

The Rachmaninov 'big hands' reminds me of a scene from the movie 'Shine'...

It's a monster! You have to CONQUER it....

(music) David Helfgott Training for Rach 3 (movie Shine) [3:14] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXTH0QIC1LE

I am soooo TOUCHED by the Classical Music Lover's representation here.... thank you so much! *tears* This is Wonderful! (Listening to Russian Soprano right now. Wow... So Awesome!!

29-30 deg Virgo
Totally Intent Upon Completing An Immediate Task, A Man Is Deaf To Any Allurement

Moonlight Sonata
One of those pieces that you can get completely lost in and lost track of time.

2-3 deg Libra
The Dawn Of A New Day Reveals Everything Changed

Just the "spring" composition. I'm taking the liberty of things having been changed for the *better*.

Vivaldi - Four Seasons

I'm itching to include a Requiem - got any Sabian suggestions for that?

I've been wanting to use Mozart's and Verdi's requiems, but haven't been able to find a sabian yet.

Yeah, we probably need darker Sabians for those.

Sorry I'm quoting - hope it's okay if I quote just the song? I've masked the other data.
There's so much meaning in this song!

All the others are also on themes very muc relate-able to the Sabian.
