Hey everyone! So I like to observe charts and ever since I switched systems in Astrology to one that suits me best... not going to go into detail on that one, I discovered a noticeable difference in someone's chart.I know someone, relatively young, who is a gay male. No one else in his family is gay. He does go to an all boys private school though. I'm not supporting any concepts of why he is gay I'm just wondering if this supposed theory I'm about to tell you has any relevance. From your experience... he is entirely dominated by earth and water Sun water Moon earth Mercury water Venus water Mars earth However his ascendant is LEO. So I'm sure being a certain way and coming across to others as something you wouldn't see yourself as probably changes the situation. Maybe it's like telling everyone your one thing when really without realizing it you've been something else all along? To me he seems like a person of character but his tropical chart says he's entirely air and fire. And I am so so prejudiced from past experiences and my age group. I am 21 but I act like I'm in my 30s. I'm mature and responsible. I have friends I kept in contact with since high school that I hang out with on occasions who haven't grown up yet! There parents buy their food, no job, not in college. Not sure what they want to do. Don't have a car. Like what the **** ... I mean my parents helped me a great deal. I don't want to take all of the responsibility for my actions but I feel like when it comes down to it , I should. I'm the one who brought myself to where I'm at this day. Etc. So they have no excuse to do that. It's bad behavior. Moving along, what do you think are some LGBTQ indicators in a chart? Growing up I had a phase where I was a little bit of a man hater. I did something a lesbian would do. But I made a conscious decision to be with men because that's what makes my parents happy. It makes me happy to know I have that sense of normalcy. So I'm not going to become gay, I just feel like if I wanted to, I could easily do so. Incthe chart system I like, I'm mega earth and water as well. My mars is in Libra. The only air in that chart. So I'm wondering what you think that would mean?

I just realized! Mars and his Moon are both the same element! What he is emotionally and sexually attracted to are of the same element and sign.On a different note, whaat he thinks, is and how he loves are the same element as well. IP: Logged |

For me it's Sun earth Moon water Mercury earth Venus earth Mars airAscendant earth Descendant water Because my descendant has a mars ruled sign in the 7th and my mars is ruled by air, that could explain my natural distaste for men. I have grown out of it but at one point it was relevant. Air isnt feminine on its own but the fact my entire chart is ruled by another intellectual sign Mercury ruled Virgo, it could make me feel superior in a way...?? For the person I mentioned earlier his descendant is also Aquarius, so that could contribute. IP: Logged |

I read once that the asteroid Ganymede is associated with gay men.I'm not sure how it plays out for all gay men, but I can speak for myself in saying that Ganymede sits right on top of my Scorpio Moon. Therefore, Ganymede is opposite my Jupiter, sextile my Mercury and Venus, and semi-square my Saturn and Neptune. Where is your friend's Ganymede? IP: Logged |

I think because of the way I grew up, that idea never sat well with me. Mostly because my Dads first marriage was to a lesbian who broke his heart and divorced him. I'm ok with it now though. It's society IP: Logged |

I have no idea. Truthfully I don't believe in asteroids. That's from my ignorant judgement. I'm sure everyone has their reasons for doing them. My reason for switching chart systems was because one made more sense to me then the other. But the truth is everything circumstances.I feel like age and life experience all factor in to your beliefs. I personally am not a fan of the little things. So asteroids don't appeal to me
