Mine square each other by sign, orb is a bit too wide (at least to me, but then some think that with the luminaries, orb can be wide, Idk).

It's not hard to me, but maybe from another person's pov, it can be. There are internal conflicts. By now working through them has become second nature. Because of the conflicting desires, it's not easy to feel completely pleased. Usually I aim for a reasonable bargain that doesn't please both sides completely, but doesn't offend/neglect either. But it's only temporary, I'm always on the look out for something that offers better satisfaction. It shows in the way I tend to jump from one thing to another.

But then every once in a while I do strike gold and find something that I wholeheartedly love.

Thank you so much, 12muddy!

I have Sun trine Moon, and I'm just curious as to how it works having a hard Sun/Moon aspect!

Very informative. I have a friend with this placement and I am doing research about this for him. He has Sun square Moon too! I hope to help him with this dilemma he has in his chart.

Yes. I have taurus sun square Leo moon, exact. It is tough.

As 12muddy says, it's like being pulled in every direction. Lots of self-doubt, procrastination, and basically a licence to overthink.

I see it as a constant war between head and heart.

The gift is in being able to see every possible side of a situation, the curse is in picking a side to get behind.

Interestingly, I tend to find myself surrounded by people with suns on each point, which maybe accentuated it growing up - my mum's sun is on mine, my sister's is on my moon - and I attract birthday (and moonday) twins at a remarkable rate.

Is it a particular dilemma you're hoping to help with? House and sign may help offer direction, too.

I hope the information and experiences being shared here can be of some help.

Ime, having mentors is really helpful in working out all the mental and emotional knots.

I really relate to this. Overthinking, over-analyzing myself were (and to some degree, still are) my main issues. "Thinking oneself into an early grave". Heh.

What I do is working out what makes me tick, where do the conflict come from, how to strike the balance (I had a habit of swinging from one end to the other - it was at times uncomfortable for people who were close to me).

I wonder if it's too much of stretch to think that it may also mean that the "feminine" and "masculine" energies are at odds and the native may find it difficult to reconnect and reunite the two.

The particular problem is his career, he is indecisive in it. How do you, or anyone that replied on here, deal with that, with Sun square Moon and all?

But you just described my friend. All the problems he has. It's eerie, like you know him, too. LOL.

Do you have a birth time for your buddy?

My sun's in the third, and moon in the 6th so work overthinking - and overthinking how I can help someone - is my speciality lol.

Like 12muddy, I find lists help. Pros and cons etc. And often I have to literally remove myself from an environment to get stuff done - my colleagues affectionately refer to it as going offgrid - it quietens the chatter in my mind and gives me some headspace to weigh things up.

I've also trained myself to go with what is the right thing to do as a clincher, using the moon positively. So 'would I regret not doing x' is also useful.

But there are gifts - I think of things no-one else does, and in half the time - which can be a huge blessing if you're in the right role.

He will never ever be happy in a job that compromises his values.

As for masculine - feminine... That's a really good point. I wrestle with femininity a lot and prefer platonic company of men to women. But then I also have Venus square Saturn haha. The connection? My sun-moon midpoint is conjunct my Venus. Amazing 😏

This is so on the money. I recently became a manager, and have to do a lot of firefighting on the fly to support my team - being unafraid to swallow my pride and reverse a decision in the face of a changing picture or a new interpretation is, I think, a huge strength.

It just takes some cojones to do it - but if it's the right thing to do, I can rest easy.

My friend has Sun in Scorpio at 18 degrees, in the 4th house, and Moon in Aquarius at 7 degrees, in the 7th house. I know it's not a technical square, because it's 11 degrees apart, but I still see it affect him a lot! And the energies of Scorpio and Aquarius have him torn apart a lot of the time.

Thank you.

I've had a tough youth, I believe that my Sun trine Moon that helped me get through it all. It was my inner warmth and confidence that helped me fight a lot of crappy things going on during that time.
