Venus Taurus opposite Pluto Scorpio. I find it the worst with this combo since the Taurus part makes me possessive and look for the right person. When I find them manipulation comes in to either keep them or do to lack of trust. I'm probability the worst because I'm also very mercurial so I can scheme something quickly or throw a "trust test". Do I mean it on purpose, no. But is it right no. I think a harsh painful lesson for males who have this placement is the best way to learn how to handle it. I'm not going to full details.... But it took me an older platonic Aquarius friend to make me realize it and a Virgo/Leo boss thats normally watching my back. Do I still do it, from time to time but at least I'm aware of it. One of the few negative placements in my natal chart I will have to work on, I will admit that. ==================================== Gemini Sun, Capricorn Rising Aries Moon Gemini Mercury Venus Taurus Mars Cancer

I am currently dating a Cancer man with Venus in Taurus opposite Pluto. He also has a Scorpio ASC so that means his 1st and 7th house rulers are in opposition. He is very jealous and suspicious but also very attentive and passionate. When things are bad, they're bad. When things are good, it's amazing. IP: Logged |

@Yanmorg.If you try to bend your back for him once and a while and he notices it. He'll start to trust you more and a lot of that suspicion will start to go away. ==================================== Gemini Sun, Capricorn Rising Aries Moon Gemini Mercury Venus Taurus Mars Cancer IP: Logged |

I have heard it said that this aspect will take you to either the heights or the depths, depending completely on which direction you decide to take it. The key is to aim for the Higher Self, rather than a person and then you are doing what you were put here to do. Very, Very creatively potent. IP: Logged |

My husband has Venus conj Asc op Pluto. I’m too tired to give an in-depth analysis but: It’s messy. Manipulative. Projections. Mayhem. DRAMA! So much drama. IP: Logged |

Totally jealous, possessive and manipulating; but that was because I was insecure about my appearance and couldn't possibly believe that anyone would find me attractive. And I suppose I realised I had to change.
Same experience for me. I think I was more on the receiving end of the manipulation most of the time, however. I was once the "other girl" in high school. My insecurities got to me and the guy knew how to play my emotions like a chord. Thank god that didn't last long. Since then, I've sworn to myself, never again will I tolerate taken people. I felt extremely horrible about the whole thing that I knew things needed to change. I still struggle with jealousy a bit, but I don't let it control my actions anymore like I used to as a kid. Not really that possessive because of all the air/earth in my chart. I know also another girl who has Venus square Pluto exact. She is intense. Typical Plutonian, all or nothing in relationships. Doesn't help she has Scorpio moon. This is my bf's ex. She has tried to break us up by manipulating me. She almost succeeded until my bf snapped me out of it. She apparently used sex a lot too, to manipulate him before. Almost cheated on him to see how he would react, to "test" him and prove his love. But everything she did, she did so unconsciously. If she'd been aware, it could have been much different. I think it takes awareness to alleviate the side effects of this placement. IP: Logged |

Exactly, you gave in the key! Consciousness is the key to overcome any aspect of life. The change depends on the nature of the person (or natal chart in this case)

I have venus opposition pluto and I'm a prude. If a man is even just casually dating another woman, I immediately back off. This aspect attracts stalkers and people with control issues. If a man tries to control me, then I immediately break up with him. I won't try to control someone and I better get the same respect in return.IP: Logged |

My mom has venus opposite pluto and she is a prude and very controlling, she is intense. She has accomplished a lot so she has put that intensity and obsessive nature to good use too.I love venus conjunct pluto and venus in scorpio, my venus conjunct mars in the 8th feels understood by them, they are very good at meeting my emotional and romantic needs. In my experience venus conjunct pluto or venus in scorpio are not overly jealous. I don't think I have dated people with venus opposite pluto or venus square pluto though so I don't know if I like this or not. I personally respect people that go after what they want and take what they want. A lot of people are in unhappy marriages and sometimes a third party needs to come along and finish ending something that needs to end, everything happens for a reason. Things don't just happen by accident, affairs just don't happen. People who cheat were already looking for someone to cheat on with, so a person who comes along and decides to get involve with the person who is taken is not the problem at all, the person already taken was already looking so the problem is the person who is taken and their spouse (bc marital issues are NOT one sided), not the third party. Now it seems you are saying that these folks go after married people who are not interested in having an affair. Well that is different but from my observation affairs happen bc the married person wants to have an affair not bc the married person was unfairly tempted by the villain "homewrecker." I am sure that happens too but is a lot more rare. IP: Logged |

I know this is an old thread but I had to come on and say one of the kindest men I know with the most integrity has this aspect in his natal, and he grew up with a mom who had a lot of mental challenges... he had to kinda take care of her. And now he definitely attracts plutonians, ha. But he himself is so solid, stable, and loyal. So I def agree that it's either an internal or external way. But I would NOT say of course that all of these men are bad men, ha! <3IP: Logged |

The men with this aspect are either certifiable OR are drawn to/attract partners that are certifiable ☝🏿I find Ven/Plu straight men attract women who are distant or disengage from the modesty of Venus or lack Venusian decorum. These ladies are the type to be outside the stereotyped role of what a "lady" should be. And these men love it! They are often not drawn to "tame", "modest" , " timid" types. The woman ends up driving them crazy or draining them in some way. The other extreme is the type of men who are drawn to "Barbie" girls I.e. superficially very beautiful. But lacking in essence. Too much emphasis on external looks and very little on substance. These guys can be the type to dissociate Pluto from Venus. And through the experience of being with these "Barbie types ", they learn the importance of depth of character. Ven and Pluto are(by nature) juxtaposed. So there could be issues with women I.e. getting along with them OR having a drama free relationship with them. One views women too simplistically on ine hand. Or is terrified of them(on the other). My brother and a very close friend of mine they have Venus square Pluto in their natal chart. My brother is 50, my friend is 52.Both of them are married. They are the most loyal man I have ever known. My friend met his wife at highschool. They are still together. He can be jeaolous at times but not controlling. His wife one of my best friends is a very cool lady. Not very beautiful but very intelligent. My brother if he could would stay with his first love. She left him. He could not get over her for many years. He cant let go. I dont think he will ever cheat or leave his wife.. I have Saturn opposite Venus square Pluto... Sad, sad, sad... IP: Logged |

I know a guy who has this. Venus conjunct Pluto. We clicked right away. I've only seen him a few times at parties. It helps that the early degrees in Scorpio are very compatible in my chart. (Cancer Jupiter, Venus Pisces, Uranus Capricorn) IP: Logged |

Venus square Pluto man here. I'm 31 and have never cheated. I have had opportunities to get with married women and haven't because of my morals. Plus it's the Plutonian aspect of not wanting to share someone. I want someone free and clear.IP: Logged |
