have you had any experience with them?

I dislike this aspect with all my heart, especially when it's the square or the opp. have met a couple of sextiles and they were decent enough, but man those square/opposite ones are such sl*ts!

they're very ruthless when it comes to getting what they want...the ones I met have no fear stealing something which isn't theirs, including a woman who is already taken...they won't back down from trying to seduce unavailable people, even if you give them a direct f**ck off!

and then comes their endless manipulations!

I understand that the world must be hard on them, when it comes to self worth, money and love, but they're so cruel and heartless that I wonder if they deserve their life to be a big mess...

sorry for swearing so much!
this is in a way an angry rant at someone with this aspect who is frustrating me

Someone with Venus trine Pluto broke my heart. I'm very Plutonian and even I couldn't handle the intensity. They brought out a (bad) side of me I didn't even know existed.

I agree, they seem to have a lot of psychological problems.

I met a 22-year old with Venus retrograde in Scorpio and he slept with over forty people.

@madelineleo23

seems like the trine is no better!

I know what you mean by them bringing out a sneaky dark/vicious side in people they get involved with

@socialgraffiti

I wonder what childhood has been like for them

that person must have started having sex very young then

These examples aren't women, but I felt like I should share something.

I've met a few people with Venus-Pluto including my Mom. A lot of them are a mess when it comes to relationships, but even through the verbal abuse my dad puts her through at times and how they constantly argue, she still stays with him. He has Mars trine Pluto, and in my experience his Mars-Pluto is a bigger threat than her Venus-Pluto.

My close friend with Venus-Pluto has been in a lot of relationships. She seems to end up with a ton of ****** people that treat her like crap. HOWEVER, with her current boyfriend (happens to be quite Plutonian himself), he is actually quite upset with her because she makes him out to be this huge controlling ******* when she just lies about everything to everyone and makes him out to be a ******** of sorts. When he brings it up to her she starts getting all sassy and they get into a huge argument. I was quite shocked to find out that a lot of her friends hate him, and I started to realize it when she told one of her friends how controlling he is. I constantly hear her telling people lies about the smallest things and it makes the whole situation clear.

@electro

yes I have noticed that women with aspect often attract domestic abuse

some of them are what people call a "home-wrecker"...mistresses or those getting involved with married men

love is accompanied with lies and manipulations for both sexes

YES! This person was also in their early 20s and had a lot of partners. I think they were severely depressed. I have Venus quintile Pluto but I don't know if that "counts."

I know two men with Venus/Pluto both over 40.

One has Pluto square Venus (Mars/Pluto in fact). He is an artist and a very youthful spirit (he still thinks he's 20). Although he is attracted to (sometimes messy) love affairs and is not married I think he's been able to "master" this aspect because from what he's said about his past he's had trouble with jealousy, drama and bad behavior. Now he's much wiser and his Pluto expression is much more noble and while it's still Pluto it doesn't cause terrible trouble.

The other one has a Pluto/Venus conjunction. Yikes. He is much messier. He suffers from pathological jealousy. He's been divorced once and is currently with his second wife on the brink of divorce. He is constantly paranoid that he is being cheated on. He even goes as far as to make stuff up to prove his delusions. Worst part is that this makes him verbally and emotionally abusive... I was really shocked when I found out because outside of his love demons he actually makes the impression of being a very successful man - very intellectual, very polite, more than financially stable and with a good career. It's really tragic for everyone. And he's in his 50's so if he hasn't resolved these issues by now he probably never will.

Having many Saturn aspects in my chart I've always expected people over 30-35 to be "better" and to have dealt with all their nonsense (especially the men). I used to look up to adults so much as these wiser ascended beings until I actually became an adult and realized nobody knows sh*t. But I still get very disillusioned when I see seasoned men and women who are still possessed by damaged mentalities.

If men over 40 with Venus/Pluto act like this I don't wanna know what young bucks in their 20's are like lol

meyray So well said

Pluto touching a personal planet like Venus on the natal may suggest someone who came into great disappointment or some suffering(Pluto) in the hands of someone they loved(Venus).

Or it could suggest that their value system(Venus) was fundamentally altered or changed by some very significant life event(Pluto).

Depending on where Venus is,is where great disappointment was likely to have been had.

I don't have this aspect natally but when solar arc Pluto arced to conjunct natal Venus in 7th at 16,my mother(Venus)was in hospital and it was a near fatal experience (Pluto).

That period of my life made me realize that I don't know how to deal with loss and the possibility of experiencing it, was extremely intimidating.

It taught me the fragility of things that I attached myself to. And how easy it is to lose ones sense of stability when those things are taken away.

It is then that I learned that love has to be freedom expressed to the person that you are giving it to. And not an act to keep one bonded to you indefinitely.

I made up my mind to "release" my mother should the worst outcome come and continue to honor her in memory. But desist on seeing her as my "rock" and without whom my life stops etc.

It was an intense period. But it was necessary to realize the distinction and I am grateful that I did.

@aries

I agree

they must have experienced some kind of big loss (or the fear of it) during childhood which made them so heartless as an adult

they may use manipulation as a way to hold on to what is slipping through their hands

Wow, my bf is a Venus opposite Pluto by 1 degree and he's nothing like any of the above descriptions. He's easy going and keeps a healthy amount of space in a relationship. He isn't smothering or controlling or manipulative.

Have been chased by venus (aries) opposite pluto (libra) man.. 3 years being a friend (2 years he quietly chased me), I don't see ruthless or anything bad from him.. He still calls me once in a while, but we're in a very good term.

Maybe because his venus conjunct my moon and his moon in Gemini trine my sun. Surprisingly he doesn't rush anything, but slowly make a move. Sometimes he picks me up and I thought we're going to having fun but suddenly I end up in the middle of his big family meetings or his high school reunion.

If it helps, I've heard that when you have Venus/Pluto you react in one of two ways. Either you are controlling, possessive, manipulative in relationships.. or... you attract Plutonians.

I have it and I'm a man.

I had a lot of disappointment in love when I was younger. Totally jealous, possessive and manipulating; but that was because I was insecure about my appearance and couldn't possibly believe that anyone would find me attractive. And I suppose I realised I had to change.

I am now married with 2 little girls, to a woman who has helped me how up.

But before I met her, I realised I was attracting girls who were in relationships mostly, which I found frustrating . I would never entertain it even if I was attracted but sometimes they would show no shame and that would eventually turn me off; I wish I knew their birth data!

It's not me favourite aspect I have to say, also my Venus is in my first house so all my inner conflicts are there for the world to see 😔

I was involved with a guy with venus sextile pluto awhile back. Very intense , seemed to be jelous ,intimidating, manipulative and controlling some in the beginning.

I just made it a point to help him understand to loosen up some, I wasn't a threat but I think this put him off because things just dwindled down. He never went back to the original guy I met, seemed distant and cold, uninterested like he didn't want to be bothered. ( that spells boring in my book, I can't)

I could tell underneath all that he was very caring , warm and a good person. I usually get a good read on others or see parts in others most don't see. ( good and bad) I think he had either been really hurt or wanted to just play games, probably had a lot of other women he was seeing as well. IDK.

I would agree with this statement

but personally I'm very suspicious of men who have this aspect especially the hard ones

if they appear to be calm and cool now, they must have learned from their past, now being afraid to show their true self not wanting to lose the other person!

deep down they still remain possessive even if it's hard for them to admit

I don't think a person can ever escape pluto, especially not when it aspects something fast-moving like venus

This is coming from a venus opposite pluto woman. Not into being a mistress and controlling. I haven't been in an abusive relationship per se but one man I fell in love with became upset and tried to go there (verbally,emotionally) because I wouldn't move to be with him. Other than that, they've been intelligent and caring men.

I have Pluto squaring my Venus by 8 degrees or so

I guess if we would be ruthless, it would be a little different, society dose not allow ruthlessness nowadays.
I may flirt, but if I know she has someone I don`t do it.
I don`t like manipulation and lies, but maybe i do it and don`t notice it haha

I have mostly suffered with love,

I guess people may get the impression of me beeing hearthless and cruel.
But i know some apreciate my heart, my venus is in leo.
Mostly I guess, people think i`m something of a madguy

but, actually, I had few and short relations in my life, something is there that I don`t know, maybe it is this

My boyfriend has Venus trine Pluto. The orb is 7 degrees while I normally only count up to 6, but based on this post, he seems to attract Plutonians (I'm a Scorpio Ascendant, for example). Then again, he also seems to be attracted to them as well.

To others, I imagine he seems a bit controlling. Actually, I don't think he's controlling at all anymore, though early on I did. Looks like I grew into wanting to do those things he wants from me that I didn't like at first.

Based on his behavior, he has suffered a lot when it comes to love. I'm able to see why too. However, the things about him that may have bothered his past partners are a good fit for me. This said, I'm not sure if his exes were that great. Our needs are pretty similar and I feel like my needs are met when I'm with him.

Overall, I'm still not sure whether this aspect comes into play for him, because cookbook interpretations of Venus trine Pluto don't seem to describe him. This or I'm just painting him wrong.
