The Venus/Venus opposition and Mars/Mars opposition can go either way I guess. But I have yet to have an experience with that Scorpio Venus/Mars in Libra is my combo What in your opinion, was wrong with them?

It was 1.5 degrees, in my 7th, his 9th. We were born 12 days apart, so have lots and lots of intense contacts, apart from Sun, Moon, Venus, Merc and Asc. It was a nightmare because it was always all or nothing. Sex at the beginning was great, he'd initiate etc, then it was always me. And I don't want to be the chaser (mars and moon in leo, i expect to be chased?). Then that energy turned into huge rows with no healthy outlet, and was very damaging. The kicker really was his aqua moon opposite mars, on my south node and in my first house. He was too emotionally cold, and was very negative about me as a person so there was never a warmth of passion to take the sting out of the tensions. IP: Logged |

Ohh I feel you! The eternal Aqua Leo problems. Leo is hot, Aquarius is ice. I have oppositions with my ex and my mum too. Their Leo opposite my Aquarius. My mum says I'm cold, even calling me cruel when she's hurt by something I did not mean to be hurtful at all. It really doesn't matter who's right and it's really not important what the truth is because truth is subjective. You have your truth and I have mine. Perception rules. You either learn to live with it (there are ways) or you leave. I left my Leo man. IP: Logged |

Venus in Pisces. I prefer trine or sextile to my venus. Fyi, I have mars square venus natally. Mars conjunction: my friend has his mars conjunct my venus. He has a crush on me but we also has venus opposite venus in synastry and mars square mars. He's strongly attracted to me, spend a lot of time together but I don't know where it comes, I don't feel the good vibe if we are really together in a relationship, I feel something is missing but I don't know what. Mars opposition: hmmm, I only has it with my friend. Maybe due to my high sensitivity or the ability to observe, I don't like on how he always looks at me like there's something wrong with me and needs to be fixed. He also always picks the wrong instead of the the right. He always quietly judges with pointing out your flaws. Very annoying. But then again, we have mars square mars in synastry. I like people who can keep his balance. I don't want them to always do what I like and I don't want them to always surprise me with the opposite behavior.

I guess for Mars square Venus people neither conjunction not opposition to either their Mars or Venus work. There's got to be other points of connection in synastry for them. Sun Sun, Moon Moon, Venus Venus, Mars Mars and you can add Mercury Mercury are sort of like marriage aspects because they show whether people can live together. They show our basic needs. Mars square Mars will get on each other's nerves. Moon square Moon will have different daily body-rhythms and habits, Venus square Venus will not agree on the day to day menu, how to decorate the house, what to buy and how and when to relax. I am Venus in Gemini, Mars in Cancer. As far as the Sun signs I am attracted to or date... I have fun with Air and Fire signs(all my female friends).. there's a definite feeling of you have what I lack and vice versa. As complimentary as it may be, I find my emotional needs are not met with the Fire/Air men(unless, obviously, they have other elements in the natal.. blah blah blah), as I am Earth sun&moon. The best for a natal like mine is to find a Pisces or Capricorn that has a venus which trines yours, followed by a mars that sextiles your mars, and let's make the moons sextile as well since I'm dreaming lolIP: Logged |

Ugh he was paranoid and grumpy, wouldn't tell me if he was upset with me so he'd just hideaway or whatever. Like he never was big on confronting issues whenever they'd arise. Final straw was when he tried to steal money from me by forging my signature on a fake check and ordering items using my card which I never gave him. He was very very very vindictive and passive aggressive. IP: Logged |

Yes. Based on my experience, I prefer Sun-Moon in synastry especially the trine or the sextile. But, it also means I have Moon-Moon although rarely it makes an aspect. Moon square moon, I almost tempted to try it years ago with a Cap moon because my moon in 4th house and I like their dependability and hard working. But, look at now Brad-Jolie, the things I learn from the situation is how moon square moon has different approach dealing with kids. My moon doesn't like people teaching a kid like they need to grow up fast. I also like Moon-Venus except the opposition because can't stand Virgo placement in relationship (in a friendship it is cool) although I have Virgo MC and I'm so critical with myself in my work. I still never yet find a Virgo who doesn't try to find your tiny little problem in your body or in your personality, if it is a big problem may be it is okay, but the tiny small thing? I don't even notice because it's not a big deal for me but they can make it like it is a big deal. My venus is very sensitive to any connection she makes to other placement. *sigh* IP: Logged |

@ Gracha I see.I think Mars in Aries more direct approach is too abrasive for Mars in Libra. I admit that we can be indirect, passive aggressive and sly(especially when Moon is also in Libra) I thought you would highlight philandering or being "open ended" about your relationship. As Libra Mars does have a reputation of not being able to affirmatively say "no". The Scorpio Venus does play its cards close to the chest. And may create storms when feeling disconnected from the spouse and/or insecure. In the end maybe there is just too many differences. But i wonder if all that could be because of their Venus/Mars placement? One complaint i receive consistently that i could attribute to this placement is "flirting" and being sexually suggestive i.e a tease. I tend to be friendly within social circles and like one on one bonding. So most will misunderstand that as me making advances at another or cheating. The only partner whom i had no issues with jealousy with, had Venus in Scorpio/Mars in Leo. As for many. I have to reel in the social approach am afraid or risk drama.😕 IP: Logged |

I have Virgo venus. Quite frankly, I've never been attracted to Pisces mars. The energy is too feminine, water mars in general (unless modified by house or aspect). I met a guy with this placement before and he was overly fantisizing us even though we weren't dating. When I saw him again a few years back, he told everyone I was his "ex". LOL he never even asked me out. Most of his efforts towards getting me were influenced by our friends. I didn't like that he was unable to decide for himself at all. This is just one guy, though. I don't come across this mars sign too often.I have been attracted to Virgo mars men before, but I have never dated them. The one, I tried to date but dropped after 2 days. He was aggressive and subtle at the same time (Aries sun). He knew he wanted me but he didn't come on too strong. He came on just about right. I liked it. It was serene. My first crush ever was a Sag with Virgo mars. He was overly critical of my looks. I apparently wasn't his type. I liked his brutal honesty. But again, not enough experience to conclude here. I feel more attracted to fire mars. I've found quite a couple men I've been attracted to had Aries mars. I liked that they were bold and aggressive. They knew how to chase. Same with Leo mars. Haven't met a Sag mars yet though. My boyfriend has Cancer mars, but it's in the first house. Man, this guy is aggressive, not just with girls but with fights. I think it kinda works like Aries mars. I was so shocked he had Cancer mars because I've met others before him who were not as assertive as he is. ------------------ Gemini Rising Sun in Leo (2nd house) Moon in Cancer (1st house) Mercury in Virgo (3rd house conj.) I'm an Aries Venus/Gemini Mars and I definitely do like Aries Mars. I have no experience with Libra Mars so I can't really comment on them. The Mars signs I like best are Aries, Scorpio, and Capricorn in no particular order. Aries Mars because my Venus is in the same sign, and Capricorn because the sign falls into my 8th house. I'm a little confused about Scorpio though since it falls into my 6th and I have no personal planets in Scorpio. My Mars duad is in Scorpio so maybe that's the reason why I'm drawn to them.

And there was definitely some philandering going on with him, i caught him and broke up, blocked him etc and that was when he tried stealing. Overall, he was terrible. IP: Logged |

Considering I have both my Venus and mars in Aries, I am mildly interested in Aries. I like athletic guys, not total meatheads with huge muscles, but just someone who is active. I love guys in workout clothes or hoodies and sweats. I have no idea why, maybe this is an Aries thing? Almost all of my relationships have been with guys who have placements in Aries. Usually Aries moons or Venus. My first love was with an Aries sun. He was softer than most Aries though, his moon was conjunct Neptune. My 7th and 8th house are Aquarius so I tend to find men with Aqua qualities, not necessarily Aqua sun or moon, but ascendants. I like the individuality they bring and the confidence in their quirks. Oh, good question! Got this from Astrotheme. LEO MARS George Clooney, Colin Farrell, Harrison Ford, Channing Tatum, Ralph Fiennes, Hugh Laurie, Clive Owen, Eric Bana, Robert Redford, James Dean, Daniel Radcliffe, Andrew Garfield, Cillian Murphy Frank Sinatra, Paul McCartney, Sting, Bruce Springsteen, Mika, Marc Anthony, Seal, Boy George, Ne-Yo Donald Trump, Quentin Tarantino, Pedro Almodovar, Al Gore, Vladimir Nabokov, Igor Stravinsky, Georges Bizet, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Augusto Pinochet, Bernie Ecclestone, Ferruccio Lamborghini Israeli declaration of independence, The Hague AQUARIUS MARS Justin Timberlake, Gerard Butler, Matthew McConaughey, Mark Wahlberg, Cary Grant, Alec Baldwin, Elijah Wood, Jamie Foxx, Olivier Martinez, Sacha Baron Cohen, Paul Bettani Justin Bieber, Harry Styles, Jay Z, Drake, Tupac Shakur, Jon Bon Jovi, Chris Martin, Pharrell Williams, Charles Aznavour, Pitbull, Will.i.am, Robin Thicke, Akon, Hozier Vivaldi, Wagner, Verdi, Puccini, Ayrton Senna, Oscar Pistorius, Hugh Hefner, Julian Assanger, George H.W.Bush, Anders Breivik, Steve Irwin, David Blaine, Dynamo, Lars Von Trier, J.D.Salinger, Enzo Ferrari, Truman Capote, Ridley Scott, Pete Sampras, Ralph Lauren, Amsterdam, Florence, Rio de Janeiro, Discovery of Pluto Oh wow! My favourite actor is Cary Grant. He's Aquarius Mars. George Clooney is Leo Mars. I cannot stand Clooney because I always thought that he's a cheap copy of Cary Grant and there's only one Cary Grant. Clooney's mannerisms, the roles he goes for (the bachelor type), the way he dresses. All that is borrowed (stolen?) from Cary Grant. I really like Olivier Martinez and Paul Bettani too so Aqua Marses rule.

Cary Grant's sun conjuncts really tight George Clooney's moon and saturn in Capricorn. I dont think Cary is hotter than Clooney but I have never had a crush on Clooney, his mars is at 0 degrees in leo while my Venus is at 23d so they dont conjunct. I think Clooney is just been himself, he is not copying anybody but I see the resemble. IP: Logged |

Thanks sweetie, decisions, decisions..tough decisions ahead! Who is hotter Mars in Leo or Mars in Aquarius?! LOLMars in Leo Harrison Ford whom I just looooove has sun conjunct Moon in Cancer trining my Moon and forming a grand trine with my AC and his Venus conjuncts my NN and his Mars conjuncts my Valentine exact and also my venus and MC, his neptune conjuncts my sun. On the other hand I have zero interest in Colin Farrell, he looks to me like a whor*e who is incapable of developing deep feelings for a woman and being faithful and who thinks life is a big party all the time. I don't trust him at all and his Mars does not conjunct my venus at all.
Now Channing Tatum is hooooot and his moon conjuncts exact my sun and his sun in Taurus my Juno, his mars does conjunct my venus and mars. His AC conjuncts my Valentine. I think I could like Ralph Fiennes, his Mars conjuncts very tightly my Venus and mars actually, his AC trines my venus and mars, his venus and moon are in Scorpio and his venus conjuncts my AC and trines my moon, sextiles my mercury. I see warmth and sweetness in him, I trust him and feel safe, I do feel drawn to him too.
Mars in Aquarius
Now Gerard Butler appears sexy in some pics and initially felt drawn to him yes but that is more to the image hollywood wants you to buy into and not the real him, his pluto conjuncts my sun and his sun in scorpio trines my moon, further his sun conjuncts my AC. However, if you look at regular pics of him with his girlfriend he looks like a total dork and average joe, the oppposite of sexy; someone I would never want to sleep with. Olivier Martinez is hot but he doesn't just have Mars in aquarius, he has mars conjunct venus in aquarius, pluto conjunct uranus in virgo on his AC and moon in libra. Although I think he is attractive I don't see myself dating him at alllllllllllll!!. He looks too aloof for me, like he could kill me and not feel anything at all lol. Like he inspires zero warmth and humanity in me and I don't feel safe lol. I have never had a crush on Justin Timberlake or Matthew McConaughey. I do think Mark Wahlberg is cute bc his Venus in Taurus conjuncts my DC and squares my venus and mars and his Moon in scorpio conjuncts my Saturn, his pluto also conjuncts my Sun. ________________________________________________
I feel safer with mars in Leo and am more attracted to mars in Leo but I also feel that the degree matters and if other aspects of attraction and safety are present like my moon and AC getting activated. Thanks for posting the references, it was a great exercise truly!

The only person I ever loved romantically was a guy with 8th house Aries Sun and then Moon/mercury/Venus were all conjunct in his 7th. His Mars is in Cancer, 11th house, does not conjunct mine.
