Okay, so question for women here. Whatever sign your Mars is in. Do you prefer guys with Mars in your Venus sign or men with Mars in the sign opposite your Venus sign? Different people like different things. Do you want someone to do exactly what you like or do you want someone to surprise you? Example My Venus is in Aquarius. I'm getting fed up with Leo Mars men. There's just so many of them in my life I think they're really amazing, I admire them BUT they're just not my cup of tea. I want more of Aquarius Mars men come into my life. So Leo Mars is a knight, if they want to surprise you then their surprise is doing something grand, biiiiiiiig. Huge bouquet of flowers, expensive restaurant, expensive presents, big audience wedding proposal, big I love you letters on the ground outside your house etc etc etc biiiiig. Aquarius Venus doesn't want big, she wants small but quirky, whatever price and size actually but interesting, original. New, trendy place for a date, not an afternoon tea in a posh expensive hotel for example. Aquarius Mars man will always surprise me and it will truly be a surprise, I will not know what to expect. Leo Mars man's surprise will be....NOT a surprise, I will almost always know what to expect because..well, it's going to be something I wouldn't want, the opposite to what I'd like, something I will react to 'that's really nice' but won't really be surprised about and think it's over the top. Whatever Leo Mars does makes me happy, yes but whatever Aquarius Mars does gives me thrill and a 'wow' feeling. What about you? Where's your Venus? What about men in your life? Which Mars does it for you? Who excites you and who makes you think 'oh, nooo..' cringe. I'm very interested in Venus-Mars opposite signs and oppositions by aspect too. IP: Logged |

I'm a Cancer Venus. I like Cancer Mars and Pisces Mars men as there is a natural affinity and we tend to be interested in the same things. However, it can seem too calm. Capricorn Mars and Aries Mars (my 7th house) really excite me IP: Logged |

This is a twilight zone topic for me. I have Venus in Pisces in the 10 and Mars in Capricorn in the 8th. In the past I was with a Venus in Virgo, mars in Scorpio.... I seem to get guys who's Venus is square to my Pluto....oy very! (the men had Venus square Pluto natally) Well three men with that. Venus was in Gemini or Sag. Mars was in Leo or Sag. Currently I'm with a Scorpio (it was usually a Leo or Aquarius suns - long history with those) I'm an Aries with a Cancer moon and So the Scorpio, Aries Moon, Venus in Libra, Mars in Scorpio conj sun. Venus square Saturn. (I have a cappy mars.... not sure if that counts. Here is the kicker now with this Scorpio is his Pluto opposes my Venus and his Venus is conj my Pluto and POF. The synastry is different.. Crush wise I'm crushing over gay men/celeb. That is what gets my attention is gay men. Maybe cause they're sensitive but my scorp is very masculine and sensitive combined and definitely cisgendered. I have sun opposite Uranus square to mars..... it shows the male in a woman's chart...... so queer men Really I'm not to sure as to what my answer would be. But then Venus in Pisces loves everyone..... throw a square to Venus with Jupiter/Neptune conj in sag..... and I think I'm on drugs in the love depth. Out to lunch. As Robert Palmer song goes...... Addicted to love....

I'm a cancer venus and only dated one cancer mars, and between cancer and cap mars, I have to say I like cap better, although the cancer was still nice! except gemini mars which ime is surprisingly boring, scorpio which I've come to the final conclusion which is way overrated and also the type who would withhold sex from you to maintain control, and aries mars which is very bossy, I like all other marses lol (no experience with pisces or aqua mars yet, if I remember correctly) each mars has pros and cons I guess, but for me personally as a cancer venus and mars, the marses I like the most are cap, taurus, cancer, virgo, leo, sag, libra, in that order IP: Logged |

Probability the worst explanation of Cancer Venus females. But here goes... good hardware, 50% of the time bad software. Sorta like running Windows on a Mac, better to run Yosemite, El Capitan or Sierra instead since there dedicated Mac OS's. (I'm aware that PC's hardware is generally more powerful, it was just an example that I hope everyone could understand, lol). It also depends on the rest of the chart and who is stronger, the guy or gal. I find Cancer Venus Females a hit or a miss. If the female is stronger they will either come off too motherly or they go ahead and do something for you which turns into a negative. The heart is in the right place and they meant well but they should have just let things be. Sorta like "I ironed all your clothes for you, but I accidentally ruined one of your shirts". At that point i'm conflicted between whether or not I should be pi$$ed you ruined my good shirt or happy that you tried to do something for me. If I'm stronger, I might come off too strong and the Cancer Venus female tends to be more moody. Most of my experience with Cancer Venus has been with Leo females and of course my mom which I have a Venus and Mars conjunction. Edit ----- Surprisingly Leo Sun, Cancer Venus is more common then I thought. ==================================== Gemini Sun, Capricorn Rising Aries Moon Gemini Mercury Venus Taurus Mars Cancer IP: Logged |

As a guy, I find very few "hits" in the ladies charts to my Taurus Mars. Occasionally, something like Venus square or Saturn trine... but not consistently. The ladies Mars is very telling though, usually with a strong aspect to my sun or moon, less often my Venus or Mercury (their Venus or Mercury, is more likely to aspect my mercury). From my side, my Cancer Venus and Leo moon have a strong influence in who I am attracted to. My Mars just likes dinner and to have my back scratched on that one spot on my shoulder blade, and he's good. 😉IP: Logged |

I'm Aries, with sun Mars and Jupiter in aries. Venus in Gemini. Moon Aquarius. I am a loner, and noticed my practical nature when I moved in to my mom's place to help her with her dementia.she always thinks of what other want. Very indecisive when ordering lunch unless she goes to the restaurant. Is that normal?IP: Logged |

@Sagical you might want to zoom in on that Jupiter/Neptune conjunct in Sag square to your Venus in Pisces. There is likely to be lot of delusions/ mutations and seeing what you want to see in love. Both Sag and Pisces can look at everything but the obvious. And the outcome of one sided attraction is not unusual for this combo. As its more the "idea" of something that is attracting/attractive than its actual tangible existence. When it becomes within reach, it loses its appeal and glamour. So disappointed hopes are usually the outcome either in the former sense or the latter. I have Venus in Scorpio and there are not plenty of Mars in Taurus people I bump into. Nor do I run into Venus in Aries either. So I can't comment on that. But i have repeated attractions towards Mars/Mars conjunctions. Experience tension with Mars in Aries. Experience camaraderie with Venus/Venus conjunctions. An attraction to the opposition(Venus in Taurus) but when it touches my Pluto, it increases in significance. IP: Logged |

My Venus is in Taurus. I'm at least mostly certain I'd prefer a Mars in Scorpio over a Mars in Taurus, but then again, I don't really care when it comes to who I fall in love with. My current boyfriend's Mars is in Libra, which is in the sign opposing my Mars sign, Aries. I'm not clear on whether or not I'm a fan of Mars in Libra. Regardless, I am very much waiting for his Mars to progress into Scorpio, because I'm going to be a fan of that.IP: Logged |

I have been working through this aspect for a while. Slowly getting better. My intuition and head are on par and slowly my heart is coming to terms with things....... my intuition never fails me..... Almost 30 years ago, I used to just settle on the first guy to say hi but now have graduated on with that a while ago. It has been men who appear compassionate then then turn out to be the opposite..... an insensitive ape. ____________________________________________ IP: Logged |

Weirdly, I just checked through the significant past love interests I have data for, and I don't have a type at all!I've had a Mars in Cancer, a Mars in Scorpio and a Mars in Leo. My Venus is in Gemini, with Mars in Leo. I'd quite happily repeat neither of the above - including Mars conjunct Mars (with ex). Nightmare. IP: Logged |

Hmmm.. it looks like your Aries Moon doesn't like Cancer Venuses. My brother has your combo: Aries Moon, Cancer Venus. They're square by aspect. He'd probably put his signature under your words IP: Logged |

Sagical,I'm thinking about your Pisces Venus. She's submissive. She might like someone who's has an aura of power, may be bossy, well..definitely masculine. Aries, Scorpio and Capricorn placements are all good fit. It makes sense. IP: Logged |

Cool mirroring there. Pisces Mars - 12H Mars, Aries Mars - Mars Asc conjunction, Aquarius Mars - 11H Venus. In the end you went for Cap Mars - your opposite to Venus sign. I see the majority here prefer it IP: Logged |

OK guys. Here's the thing. I see many prefer the Mars in the opposite sign to Venus. I think maybe I should have mentioned that 2 guys with Aquarius Mars I'm such a big fan of had their Mars conjunct my Venus in Aquarius. That's a completely different game! Those who experienced Mars Venus conjunction will know what I mean. Those Leo Mars men in my life had no chance. Also, Big thumbs up for crazy chemistry Pluto aspects that a few here mentioned! You described it pretty well: they have an "aura of power, may be bossy, well..definitely masculine."I don't watch Mad Men I like men that are manly for sure, and Mars is exalted in Capricorn. But not all Cap Mars men are manly. Yes I've experienced a man's Mars conjunct my Venus in Cancer and another's conjunct my Mars in Cancer...both hot and irresistable. But opposite placements bring the excitement. Gotta say I love the wildness of Aries Mars too IP: Logged |
