Sun capri with venus in aquarius, my parents and my brother all three have this and I dont think any of them care about fashion. Caps are more into the classical look and uranus rebels against rules and social expectations, venus rules fashion. I also feel as we get older we care less about fashion.. IP: Logged |

Cancer. If you buy conservative cuts, you can be "stylish" without giving in to trends. I've had some stuff for close to 20 years now. Depending on where you live, jackets and coats have the best longevity. The only limiting factor would be weight gain or loss.

Cap I don't care too much for trends and go more for comfort. 2nd house cusp is Taurus and the ruler(Venus) is in the 6th (when counting from the 2nd). I consider clothes(2nd) an expense(6th) that I curb(Saturn conjuncts Venus). And with the 2nd house from the 2nd having Moon there,I tend to retain clothes for a long time and buy from an emotional point of view. IP: Logged |

MEEE a Venus in Cancer !!! forsure I hoard clothes for years and years. I feel more beautiful in old clothes revived/vintage than brand new at times. venus is your aesthetic and in cancer the aesthetic is centered around the tried and true and sentimentally safe. IP: Logged |

I know one Gemini with Taurus Venus. He is not into fashion, wear same clothes for years. He is now more than 50 years old and still have clothes from his 20s.
Have no idea what ASC he is, not sure if Taurus Venus is enough for Gemini to act like this. IP: Logged |

ME!! I only buy quality with the intention of it lasting longer and I also hate "trends"!! I rather save up for something that's a little bit more expensive than waste money on something that will look like a piece of garbage after 2 months. Cancer Sun, Venus

Me. mostly because i just wear black all the time, and a couple pairs of jeans i've had since high school. I also like to cut / alter my old clothes to change it up a bit.
venus in scorpio conjunct IC? Ah you guys are saying cancer. I have a 4th house stellium. My boyfriend is the same way though, even worse than i am probably and he's a taurus, almost all earth, only wears black t shirts and jeans. IP: Logged |

I'm one of those.
I rarely buy clothes. Mostly out of necessity. While I do care about looking good, the clothes always have to be comfortable or end up sitting in my closet for years..until I throw or give them away.I agree that strong saturn influence can be that way. I'm saturn dominant, haha. My last shopping spree was back in march, and that was only 2 shirts and a new pair of shoes(that I desperately needed). ------------------

My Mom is a Cancer Sun, Cancer Venus she's had clothing from god knows when. It wasn't until she realized her children (include me)
all have new clothing did she start buying new clothing.Not to sure if she keeps old clothes because its a mix of practicality and sentimental value.

I think it depends on his situation. Older clothes probably suit him better..it wouldn't make any sense for him to wear whats in style if it doesn't make him look good. Sometimes its better to wear what makes you look good then whats in style. Its sorta like how halter dresses are very popular right now. Depending on the girl it might come off looking modern and sexy or down right slutty.
Jennifer Lawrence could and has, But Theresa May or Angela Merkel couldn't. "Dress what makes your look best". I couldn't, I treat fashion as a symbol of being aware of whats happening in society.
It shows your aware of culture changes, changes in opinions and values. You may not completely agree, but being aware is better then waking up the next morning and finding the world has completely changed. You don't have to be wearing whats in exactly in right now, but you don't want to be caught wearing 1990's clothing in 2017. My Planets

I didn't say it's wrong, just as Gemini generally can follow trends and like new, wanted to see what makes him different. I'm Capricorne Sun, Aquarius Venus. Can have old clothes for years if I like it a lot, but don't like to keep it for some very long time.
Depends on my mood, I can put on first thing I grab or I can care more about outfit but it's always something relaxing but unique in my own style. I don't follow trends.

Gemini Sun generally is well known to like to wear good clothes, not necessarily to follow trends like Leo placements would do but this Sun like it. As this older guy I know is not like that, and have clothes from his high school still I asked what placements can indicate that. Nobody said it annoys me or similar, so your point is stupid. So my question was very clear.

Lol, thats pretty much my chart. But my sun is in the 5th and I'm not 50yrs old. Theres more that I didn't mention, I do keep some old clothing.. but its mostly for indoor clothing like PJs or for cleaning the house sorta thing, failing that its cut into rags. I'd be embarrassed to be caught outside wearing old clothing thought. The only exception are my Blazers/ Sports Coats I collect them since they practically never go out of style and I keep them ready when need be, other then that everything else is new. So your Gem friend might be the same, rather then throw old clothing out try to extend its life by finding more uses for it. Gemini suns are generally pretty good at finding other uses for things.
