Virgo Scorpio taurus or libra Sagittarius Gemini I recently became a minimalist and a bit of an ******* . Growing up my parents bought all of my clothes and being the typical western family we would have tons of nice clothes we didn't need. So instead of donating them and being like a nice person, I was going through a dark time in my life and I threw out about $400 worth of clothing Which was my whole wardrobe I kept like four shirts and I still have like ten pairs of jeans I don't even wear jeans I wear the shorts I have but I liked the jeans so for some reason I kept them I liked to wear the same few shirts instead of just wearing like one shirt a month that was the same now there's some consistency If someone judges me as poor or distasteful I wouldn't care I wear my own version of fashion and maybe it doesn't please everyone it's cute to me and that's what matters IP: Logged |

I do too and my sun is in Cancer. IP: Logged |

"Nobody said it annoys me or similar, so your point is stupid. So my question was very clear."what? I just asked you if this was something that bothered you about this person. Are they sentimental about their old t-shirts or they just don't like to shop? and my point was 1) as we get older we accumulate more stuff including clothes, just a fact 2) I think make-over shows don't always make the person look better! I think people with a lot of mercury often do this because they tend to be shorter than the rest of the people in their family. If you grow less you can wear the same clothes longer. I haven't grown since I turned 11... So at 35 I literally still have some of the same clothes from when I was in Jr High. IP: Logged |

But to answer the question of the thread I dot think I can keep clothes for 20 years mostly because I'm pretty aggressive with my clothes and I wash them a lot they would be faded or ripped or permanently stained That and also my clothes would probably lose interest to me like I would get sick of them by then and would want to toss them The only reason I would see keeping them is if I got them at a different country or someone I loved dearly gave it to me moon Scorpio Virgo-Scorpio-taurus Sidereal Libra-Sagittarius-Gemini western

Some of my clothes are 11 years old! From high school. I got rid of a lot around the time I was 18 yrs old. But then around 23 I found some of the old clothes and I lost a lot of weight. I'm 27 now, and my weight hasn't changed much. I'm at a place where I really can't buy more clothes. The closet is at full capacity. Plus people keep giving their clothes to me! So it's kind of exiting when something finally gets a hole in it or the elastic goes. I'm an Aries w/ Venus Pisces and my Jupiter is in Cancer. IP: Logged |

I'd be embarrassed to be caught outside wearing old clothing thought. The only exception are my Blazers/ Sports Coats I collect them since they practically never go out of style and I keep them ready when need be, other then that everything else is new. So your Gem friend might be the same, rather then throw old clothing out try to extend its life by finding more uses for it. Gemini suns are generally pretty good at finding other uses for things. I'm actually not sure about his ASC, just tried to connect things. He is not into technology, new things, hates to write. Pretty weird for an Gemini Sun. That's why I think he has some earth energy. He is also very into politics. And as he has pretty young face, and pretty clear, no wrinkles, maybe Capricorn suits to him, as this rising can look younger, interested into politics and bla bla. Haha I also have old clothes for home and sleeping

Just be a man! 😅 *kidding* Well my mother cares very much for fashion and current trends, although she rarely follows them. She has her "basics" that she's worn for years!! When something gets a hole, she mends it. She has things in her closet that she's worn 30 years ago! And she has great style. She doesn't need much. I really admire that! She has Capricorn Asc with Venus also in Caps in her 1st house.

My mother for example has that need to keep clothes old who knows how long but not to wear at all, just keep it like a hamster. But also loves to buy as much as she can even if she will not wear it twice. She is Taurus Sun and Moon, Virgo rising.IP: Logged |

My Mom. Let's see her sign placement: Aqua sun (Cap/Aqua cusp), Aries moon (possibly Pisces moon in late degrees), Cancer mars, Aqua mercury, and Pisces venus. - outer: scorpio neptune, cap saturn/jupiter, leo uranus, virgo pluto. I have similar natal: Aqua sun (4 degrees), Aries moon, Sag mars, Aqua mercury, and Pisces venus. - outer: cap neptune, sag asc/saturn/uranus, aries jupiter, scorpio pluto. My Mom and I don't care about fashion but we know what's going on, we just tend to mix it up with our own preferences and surprisingly people think it's a new one, nope, it's the same clothes years ago, we just do some different style. But who is the longer one? To 20 years or more? My Mom. I don't know how some of her clothes are still in a good condition after years and years while my clothes have already time-worn and unwearable. In the past she had a habit to keep all the old things until one day my Dad told her that we need to have more room space. She has a hard time to let go all of those old (already unuseful) things. Me? I don't have those habit to keep old things, if it has broken and can not be fixed, I throw it out. So, I can say in this case: Cancer sign. My sister has the same habit like my Mom. She likes her possession very much. You can't touch her belongings without some permissions. Her placement: Taurus sun, Gemini moon, Aries mercury/venus, Taurus mars. - outer: cap neptune, Scorpio saturn, Aquarius jupiter, Sag uranus, Scorpio pluto. I bet it is her: Taurus sign. IP: Logged |

I'd think anyone who wore the same clothes for 20 years has gotten old enough to not need to keep up with fashion, so about everyone by the time they reach 40. I expect those who care about keeping up with what's current probably try to keep looking 20 as well. I'd hope there aren't many people like that.Furthermore, fashion (as promoted in fashion magazines and the like) is a scam. And most people by the age of 40 (and even 30) will have seen through it by then, or failing that, will have far more important things to spend their money on, such as children, homes, insurance...and probably lots of medicine as they get older (not just for themselves, but their pets and kids as well). That's not to say they don't care how they look, just that they're not going to waste their time buying whatever is pushed on them this month to stay current with some fashion standard designed to give themselves something to soothe their aching self-esteem and/or feel better than others (for which the fashion industry profits from by the artificial needs they create). They may even have a look they favor, but it's not likely to be anything daring or expensive, but rather something classic and ordinary. Of course if they wear their clothes out then most will replace them, though they might do so at the thrift store rather than ordering the latest thing online. IP: Logged |
