What Makes a Man Impossible To Resist?I have had this theory for awhile. I did not share it because I could not put it into words and because I was embarrassed.However,I can put it into words,now, and POO on embarrassment. I listen to a lot of music.Some men are considered outrageously sexy by most people. When I found a singer I thought fell into the category of “so sexy you could eat him for lunch”, I checked the chart. In time,I formed the theory of which I am going to write. The first singer was Rob Thomas of Santana. I saw him in the song “Smooth”. Why was he so devastatingly sexy? I don’t remember his whole chart, but there was a striking aspect. He had the asteroid Angel conjunct the asteroid Nessus. Angel is light.Nessus is dark. Nessus is the asteroid of abuse. There was the beginning of my theory. Women are attracted to the dark mingled with the light.Rob,himself,looks like an angel.However,lurking somewhere in his depths is a darkness. This co-mingling of light and darkness translates into devastating sexinexx. I have another example and that is Daryl Hall. I do not know his Ascendant,but he looks as much like a classic Leo Ascendant as one can,so I am using this.He seems to be in the second decan of the Leo Ascendant,as well. My struggle with his chart was in the sign and degree of his Moon. He seems much more like a Taurus Moon than an Aries Moon. Daryl’s favorite new hobby/work endeavor is restoring colonial home.Taurus is classic for the home restorer.Also,Daryl has a restaurant and he serves homey and comforting foods. Also, he does seem to be a centered person,which is classic for the Taurus moon and he seems to be a kind person. If I use the Leo Ascendant in the second decan and the Taurus Moon, he may have Moon conjunct Nessus. This is a classic aspect for darkness. However, if we do not use any of this, his chart has many other examples of light juxtaposed to darkness. Daryl has the shiny,wholesome and boy scout Libra Sun. Libra Sun men are very vanilla i.e. good. They do not have a dark vibe, at all. They embody staying after the party and helping with the dishes. They remind me of the adage,”I would not date a man who is prettier than I am”. Libra men have a classic good looks of a male model but do not have that bad boy sexiness. They are more of a sedan riding man or a Volvo than a motorcycle. They would dress in polo shirts, not leather and boots. So,Daryl has the sunlight.Adding to this, he has Aphrodite/Venus conjunct the North Node. He was made to both be beautiful, in a pure way, and to bring beauty to others. Venus is pure and clean lined beauty, without dark overtones. Some of the darkness comes in with the Scorpio planets. He has Venus,Mercury and the one and only,unrivaled Mars in Scorpio.Hence,he is the quintessential man who embodies the darkness and the light.What I like about him,personally, is that he is very friendly, very warm and very down to earth. To me, these traits can be attributed to the Libra Sun,Aphrodite conjunct the NN,Leo Ascendant and the Taurus Moon, respectively. I agree with this and I think this applies to men too.We all have a dark side but the men and women who are more in touch with their dark side and accepting of it while also shining this strong light are alluring. You want to be with someone who you can be all of yourself with, the bad girl/boy version of you and the good girl/boy version of you. If not you will constantly have to pretend and only express parts of yourself so when we come across someone that has that mix we feel we can be ourselves and express different sides of us, in other words achieve real intimacy and wholeness with another. What you are talking about is our need as humans to feel secure and form secure attachments. Ami is talking about attraction and some of the ingredients that helps create an environment were you feel you can be yourself and express different parts of you with another (intimacy). IP: Logged |

I don't know.There's a lot of called hot guys out there that I don't think are THAT hot.In fact some I think are very boring.The spell doesn't work on everyone or is short lived because everyone has different needs.I mean everyone has a type who melts them or it can be something triggered by a good synastry too.

i both hate and love smartass prepotent nen - like just now i was watching a tv show with my sister and the tv host was so annoying imho yet i couldnt take my eyes off him.... i tend to fixate nyself on such men all the tiiiiime. I will chek some of their charts for sure.IP: Logged |

I'm not generally into celebrities and all that, but as a teen, I thought Orlando Bloom as Legolas from Lord of the Rings and Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow were pretty attractive. However, I wouldn't say these men are impossible to resist. Using astrotheme to compare my chart with them, Johnny Depp and I have what I'd consider "decent" affinity while Orlando Bloom and I probably wouldn't get along at all. Granted, I'm saying that I found these two to be attractive, not necessarily that I'd be a fan of their actual personalities.Depending on whether astrotheme is a site with any credibility at all, I have found a celebrity that has 100% affinity with me in every area the site measures. Unfortunately, I'm unable to tell for sure if the birth time is accurate. I honestly take celebrity birth times with a grain of salt, but it was an interesting thing to find since I'm sure it's rare for the site to rate 100% on everything. For anyone curious, astrotheme rates my affinity with Taylor Swift as 100%. Based on her music, I'm not sure I agree, but I am surprised that Taylor Swift is only 3 years older than me. There aren't many men I'd say are impossible to resist though. Then again, maybe I just haven't met one. Overall, attraction is a good starting point for me. Good looks just aren't enough to impress me. After I establish that someone is attractive, a person still has to have a good personality for them to become a real heartthrob for me. Still, the challenge for many men is getting me to be interested. Regardless, if this thread is just about looks? Not good enough to make my heart skip a beat. I need depth of personality and looks by themselves won't give me that. A man's voice, however, can be the one deciding factor, especially if the way he talks reveals something deep and complex about his personality. So, a hot guy with a nice voice CAN make my heart skip a beat. The voice, on the other hand, has to be a certain way for this to happen and it takes a certain personality to use the voice in a way that keeps me interested. IP: Logged |

Jupiter to the sun or moon of another. Jupiter to venus is nice but the sun is soul and the moon is emotion\thinking mind. This is a really virgo or possibly air sign thing to say but,
I really fall in love with the mind. I like to have someone whose thoughts I connect with and we justness understand each other.
But if they are hot too it’s a plus. Frankly I’ve only been dating hotties, not really taking the time to get to know them. So... it’s just weird. Actually I’m referring to two years ago. I’m very very single. *points at leg hair* oh you don’t get it, it’s a nonverbal. Well yes. Single.
and anyways, that’s just what I would find ideal. I went on these dating sites before and for a while I was into a guy based on how hot he was. Another by the way we communicated.
I don’t really have much real world experience lately but I do know that we need to see eye to eye with the way we communicate. That’s basically it. If I can’t relate to you or if we are on different wavelengths it’s just not going to work. ------------------

For a while I dated some hot guys who treated me like dirt. They thought because they were attractive it made them better than others? Sick world we live in.
But really it’s true in a way. Attractive people DO have an advantage. Attractive is a subjective word - because each person appreciates beauty differently.
But yes. My soul mate dude ex soul mate that I really bonded with and we just understood each other SO well from like four years ago I still remember him — we had completely compatible charts! So there is some truth to Astrology, whichever system that is. And I actually was in the process of becoming a hoe at the time. It was really stupid how I took him for granted. But it wasn’t meant to be because he wasn’t ideal aesthetically in my book and I wanted someone different. So I lost the personality and found the looks. But he was such an ******* . A liar, manipulator, complete jerk off who wouldn’t commit, had multiple affairs and a fake marriage. It was so terrible. Oh and did I mention the trauma? And how I am still recovering. Actually I’m moved on past it and am strong enough to say “f him” if someone asks. When before I was so under his charm that I couldn’t even see anything bad about how he treated me like dirt. I was just too committed and it was just really toxic and I am so glad that I ended that affair! I bet this is tldr for most of you but I wanted to share. Hehe

The actors and musicians I love tend to have strong Scorpio placements (like luminaries, and Venus in Scorpio--which I also have), and the Scorpio planets play a huge role in the fact that I'm Scorpio dominant in the natal chart. I have planets in the 8th house, Scorpio MC, and Pluto in Scorpio.Based on this, I feel that what people find men irresistible connects with whatever the other person's dominant planet or sign is.
