Oh good question, would like to hear opinions as I love to travel and want to do it whole my life.I think maybe Jupiter aspects also, like with Mercury, with Mars a lot of action and traveling without too much planing, with Moon (spiritual journeys)... 9th and 3rd house involved, maybe 12th. Or to look at ruler of these three houses of both people and its aspects to other planets and placements in synastry. IP: Logged |

My husband and I travel for work (our hobby as well) around 200 days per year, all over Europe! Neither one of us would survive in an office environment! We have heavy Jupiter, Saturn, Moon, Mars connections and all are in Earth with my Jupiter being in 9H. Need to add that we have both traveled, individually, from a very young age so it's in our blood! IP: Logged |

After retirement, my mother and father traveled together quite often for pleasure. Mother's Sag Moon conjuncted Father's Jupiter. Don't know house positions. In our younger years, the four of us thoroughly enjoyed family vacations to distant locations. With my sister and I both packing Venus Sagittarius conjunct Mother and Father's placements in that sign, you might say Sagittarius was our family glue. Later on, one of my more serious affairs was with a woman whose Mars Sag conjuncted my Venus. We were on the go constantly for whitewater canoeing, camping, hiking, etc. All of these placements, as well as my paternal grandfather's Sag Sun, fall in my 9th house. It's been an exciting place. I would say Jupiter/9th house contacts in synastry for long-term travel or living in different countries. I would also count Mercury/3rd house for short trips to nearby places. My boyfriend and I plan to travel across the world in the next five years. Individually, we both like to take trips to nearby cities/provinces, having Mercury in the 3rd house in both our charts. Together, we dream of seeing the world. My Jupiter (natally in my 9th house) is right on his 9th house cusp. When we met, he was fascinated because he says he's always wanted to travel but he says he's never met a girl that was willing enough to let go of attachments and actually see the world. He has Moon conjunct Jupiter natally and I can see why he has a desire to travel as well. This conjunction is opposite my Moon, and they're both on my 7th house. I told my best friend I finally found someone I can go places with! IP: Logged |
