I was just thinking of how interesting it would be if people were to choose a specific placement and explain how it has panned out in their lives.

For example,

My Neptune is exactly conjunct my South Node in the 4th house:

My parents are divorced.
- My mother was an exceptionally loving but exceptionally distant workaholic and drinker. My grandmother was an astrologer/psychic and my mother believed thoroughly in astrology as well. They also believed in “self-creation:” the idea that if one visualized something it would occur. Often, as a child, my mother would sob drunkenly and clutch me; telling me how she never wanted me to leave her. She was somewhat of a wild woman, and very changeable.
- My father was a financially struggling bachelor and we moved from place to place quite a lot. He was epileptic and intensely tired constantly, to the point that he would wake up at noon and fall asleep as he put me to bed at 8. He had very involved, vivid dreams and took many medications and vitamins to stabilize his mind. He was also a hoarder and, like my mother on occasion, an impulse buyer. He was a writer, artist, and poet for much of his life, but for the bulk of my childhood he was involved in the very Neptunian career venture of creating a program to help doctors visualize cancer cells digitally. All of my father's family were very talented artists who had difficulties with mental illnesses and the like.

Neptune's dreamy presence in all of this is I think what makes me love my parents so much. They were incredibly kind to me despite being so distracted.

Anyway, I find it gratifying to see how the events and conditions of a person's life can be mirrored in astrology. I already know astrology is real, its just fun to have that affirmed. Tell me about your placements! I'm interested.

Moon conjunct Mars in Gemini/4th house.

My mom is a Cancer ASC and has Aries Moon, so I feel like part of her personality and characteristics are reflected in this part of my chart. She is a very communicative (hello, Gemini!), energetic, nurturing person. She is also very dedicated, loyal and the type of mother that will fight your battles for you, if you need her to. But she also respects independence and strength and she always encouraged this characteristics in me. We're very close, and I feel like that relationship is reflected with this aspect.

No quoting please!

Mercury opp Pluto

- Both my extended families are very geared towards self-preservation. One from outside forces, the other from each other. There's either no expression of emotions or too much.
- my brother used to play devious tricks to get me in trouble.
- At university I focused on a lot of linguistic theory. At one point the theory I read affected me so much I really struggled to read more than a sentence & had a bit of a writers crisis. Also looked at subliminal aspects of language a lot
- Relationships tend to involve spying / perceived omnipotence..
- in relationships either I've felt mentally unstable and/or they have been. Either way a lot of thinking about thinking
- fell into a research and evaluative role in every work place (even when that wasn't my initial role) which involved interviewing people, finding some truth and writing it up in a semi-transparent, semi-persuasive way

Please don't quote

Jupiter in my third house, house of siblings. I have one sibling who 'fell in love' with me as soon as she saw me come home from the hospital, and we've had a very loving, warm relationship together since the beginning and stuck together like glue. We adore each other to bits and even years later, no matter what, it's like no time has passed and we still are like two playful kids together. If anything, she also was very much like my mother, even though she was a kid when I was born. She wanted to take care of me and raise me, and actually sometimes would not let my own mother take care of me LOL. I say that's because cancer is in the 3rd house.

Sun (4th house) opposite Pluto (10th house)

I had an absent father (he left my mother when she gas pregnant with me). Endless inner struggle between my work and home (I spend too much time working, but I need home to be in peace)

Neptune conjunct Asc: Dreamy character

Moon opposite Nep/Asc: I was very close to my mother and when she die, I felt the most terrible pain in life until now.

Mars conjunt Saturn: Very stubborn, bad tempered, and a workaholic.
