Thats like doctors and lawyer level. I have a very bad attention deficit I think, I lose focus easily but have a very active mind. Jupiter conjunct mercury is suppose to be from what I read street smarts and book smart. The ability to apply the two. I always get told I have a lot of book sense but no common sense but then those same people that get to know me over time tell me that I am a lot smarter than I let on. lol .. I just never feel the need to prove myself unless it's to help someone out.
Book and street smarts? This is the first time I've ever heard that about this aspect. I have it in my chart Mercury conjunct Jupiter both my Mercury and Jupiter are in Aries in my 8th house.

(Returning to this topic) I wonder if midpoints would define the IQ of any individual. IP: Logged |

I'm known as a brainiac among my coworkers, friends and family. It takes me 10 minutes at the most to master a topic and teach it to a friend or classmate. I've been blessed with the ability to take a complex topic and translate it into plain English in order to help others understand it as well.My aspects are: sun conjunct mercury, sun opposition uranus (orb is less than 1 degree), sun trine jupiter and mercury opposite uranus. You just described my networking prof. He's a Scorpio sun with mercury and jupitor conjunctions. He'll have some hunch or premonition and then his mercury kicks in. I'm somewhat terrified of that man he's always 5 steps ahead of you, you must think fast with this man!!!. He always smiles at me thought, so there must be something he likes in me. Don't know why he's teaching here he taught mathematics at Yale. On to me, Mercury is my strongest placement. I have Mercury trine Aquarius Jupiter. Mercury conjunct Mars, Mercury trine pluto. Mercury conjunct sun. I can logically figure out how to deal with sudden problems, but I've never gotten excellent grades. I've always got around the B to B+ range in math and science never straight A's. Whenever I explain how Cryptography or how Computer Algorithms work people always listen to me, explaining it mathematically is always the tricky part. So I think I'm logically but far from a genius, otherwise I would have built a rocket that works much sooner then the N. Koreans can. My University transcript is interesting, I've literally gotten every grade, yet my CGPA has never fallen to the point where I've gotten academic suspension. Perhaps its because I never actually learned to sit down and study. In high school it was mostly an easy pass, so I never really learned how to study hard. My mom whould say my two children are different my sister would be panicking and frantically studying before an exam while I would be playing ps3 games knowing I already will get a B or B+ without having to study for it. I think Earth signs are way better at it since you don't have to be smart to study, just have to be disciplined. I find high intelligence tends to go with charts that have a lot of hard aspects (conjunctions, oppositions and squares) to Mercury and moon from outer planets, especially Saturn and Uranus, Mercury as a focal point in the chart through rulerships and aspects, often retrograde, and almost always in strong aspect to Moon.Someone whom I consider to be in genius range intelligence, a volatile writer, artist, linguist: Rx Mercury conjunct Mars in Cancer, opposed to Neptune and square Jupiter in Aries. Moon in Gemini opposed Saturn, also forming a yod with the sextile between Neptune and Pluto, Venus in Gemini opposed Uranus. Another, whom is gifted in both arts and sciences as a “Renaissance man”, poet, mathematician and engineer: Rx Mercury conjunct Venus and Sun in Pisces, opposed Moon and square Saturn in Gemini. Saturn is chart ruler, with Mars in Capricorn sextile Mercury/Venus, square Uranus. Jupiter in 1st house Aquarius. A schizophrenic man whom had a superior memory and could write different things at the same time with each hand, among other psychological feats: Venus conjunct Rx Mercury in Aries opposed Moon conjunct Neptune, square Mars conjunct Saturn in Cancer. Uranus in Gemini sextile Mercury/Venus and trine Moon/Neptune. Myself, whom is attracted to these types: Rx Mercury in Leo conjunct Sun, opposed Moon, square Pluto in Scorp, trine Saturn in Sag. Gemini Asc square Virgo Venus. Venus square Uranus. I see these patterns in “thinkers” almost every time. IP: Logged | |
