This comic was in a funny mood.... glad that you had a laugh! I'm the proud owner of a Cancer moon. Cancer moon and temper tantrums..... it would depend upon the individual chart. I have a t square dance with Sun opposite Uranus square to Mars. Hair trigger angry reaction.... my teenaged self would fly into a rage cause I could not get my hair right and the brush would be hurled across the room. Maybe it's a chain reaction.... sensitive, then reactive. A strong tough Aries wouldn't want to show the delicate feeling side. If I do get emotional and on the 'war path' now a days, it's something that I'm around that's negative affecting me and I try and solve it and rid the problem. My oldest has a Cancer moon plus three other planets in Cancer... she gets upset over many thing's... if I set a boundary or discipline her then she get super emotional. If I tell her that she needs to shower and wash her hair she gets huffy.... She also has Sun conj Node/Saturn in Gemini opposite Pluto... that comes into play..... She is also Leo rising. The most dramatic, temper tantrum types that I have seen are SOME Leos... drama nuclear bomb with my oldest's father.... he's got a Pisces moon to boot..... with him, he feels sorry for himself a lot.... In real life, in physical presence.... sometimes if I come across another Cancer moon I run (sometimes it their moon fills in the empty leg of my cardinal t square with Sun/Mars/Uranus). I have a lot of friends with Water or Earth Suns that I like. IP: Logged |

Moon is known as being in its own sign when in Cancer, but this is the placement most depending on support -- especially early in life. If the parental relationships -- even on one side aren't supportive and protective, then the person is far more negatively reactive to later circumstances that are minor by comparison. With few exceptions, they want family to support them, often even if they aren't reciprocating in kind.Exceptions are with Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune flowing aspects, etc, that help lend perspective. Hard aspects with Jupiter or Saturn, and almost any close aspects with Pluto (including parallels and contra-parallels) will intensify this Moon/Cancer dynamic of bleed-through of the past. Such persons will often create a home environment for themselves later, but it will be to please themselves and suit their needs and they may not realize that it perpetuates a pattern of not suiting the children and meeting their needs. Moon is soothed, stabilized, or strengthened when the Venus principle is more accentuated with Sun or in the chart overall, or when the Saturn principle is similarly accentuated. Moon is at its best with Venus help, Jupiter secondly; at its worst with Pluto, Mars influence. People with Moon and Asc or Sun in water signs are often moody, broody, reactive, even well into adulthood or old age. Saturn influences to stabilize the Moon can help with this, but are learned during the Saturn transits and progressions. We are all learning a balance of the feeling subjective with the cerebral objective -- female & male. ------------------ The Declinations Guy - Expert birth chart rectification Clickable Rising Signs> ♈ ♉ ♊ ♋ ♌ ♍ ♎ ♏ ♐ ♑ ♒ ♓ IP: Logged |

My mother has cancer moon. And she is the modiest dragon ehum person I know off! I was and still are very sensetive to other persons especially close ones moods. And as a kid I felt very bad emotionally whenever she had her mood swings. I felt that I never could trust her, she could switch to bad mood just like that. I was not safe. In her defence, her father was just like that, she grew up with an emotionally unbalanced father. And she had a bad childhood, and she has been very unhappy at times in her marriage, so it's not like it came from now where. She could be happy go lucky and turn to dragon mood just like that if something upset her. She is still like that, and it has caused and causing her lots of physical and emotional distress. She has also pluto and uranus trine her Mars. jupiter and mercury, so she is prone to anger attacks if she is being pushed too far. Or if she has let anger build over time. My father has cancer sun. Dunno about his moon. He too can have mood swings, not as bad as my mothers, he has more sporadic swings but his mood swings are more percistent. And he is amazing at using silent treatment as a punishment method. IP: Logged |

Hehe, my best friend in high school was a cancer moon, super moody, but he has a cap sun and denies his crazy, acts like other people are the crazy ones. (also has an aqua mercury)both of those squared my aries moon and i was always accidentally stepping on his emotions and having to backtrack, like 'Noo that's not what I meant!!' but then it would be too late because the emotions would be flowing, and they would never be talked about because of the cap sun, and.. we don't really keep in touch anymore IP: Logged |
