This is an esoteric topic and somewhat related to astrology because it might have something to do with Scorpio or pluto energy.

I wanted to share an experience. I heard that wearing a ring in the shape of a snake does something to you, especially if you worship the snake god before it. I really feel something with it. Usually I am too sincere and honest, and innocent. I also lack some sense of self and importance and belief in myself. I tend to spend time and energy in others and I am very easily emotionally manipulated or played with cruelly. I hate this about myself. I am not like that to a big extent or it's not the biggest part of my personality but it's something that makes me weak that I have compared to most other people.

But when I worshipped he snake god I felt empowered, in a good and healthy way. I simply didn't waste my time with those that didn't deserve me or understand me. I knew where I should focus on and give priority to things in life instead of letting people do that to me. I felt like a step ahead of others. I felt empowered and believed in myself. I didn't harm anyone. I also didn't feel the need to have others' approval that much especially if they don't understand me. I was much more sure of myself and the path I created for me. I enjoy the feeling he snake ring gave me. Unfortunately today it broke in half so it's not in my finger anymore and I hate being the same one again. I feel weak and pathetic, and I'm easily taken advantage for my innocence and too much sincerity. This world is not as pure as I treat it like. I really need a snake ring so I bought it today online to replace the old one.

Just something I thought about sharing.

Is it the snake ring or is the power that you give it?

There is a saying that God didn't create man.
But that man created God.

And we do it everyday when the God starts to feel "outdated" and irrelevant.

What house cusp is your 9th house in? And planets therein?

I consecrated the snake ring. But that's it not even necessary. Just feeling that a snake is wrapped around your finger and it'a a part of you is enough usually.

Pluto in 9th. This is a strong position and suggests one who has a very intense view of religion. It can quite literally, change their whole life.

So i could see the connection you want with inner power and belief in self. Pluto affords the strength to walk with fear as an old friend.

Add to that your worship of the snake god. Its controversial really. But thats not really the point because Pluto in 9th does not want to just superficialy get close to God. It wants to proverbialally breathe through God's nostrils and "feel" the presence within.

I still think that this is projection. For if it wasn't the snake, it would have been the lizard, the eagle, the dragon. All symbols of power, strength and conquering ones weaknesses by sourcing the power within.

I was drawn to ancient vedic definition of snake as a symbol. It's really interesting and it makes all sense to me. If you want I can post the link to that article. There were snake mantras that I played (I'm not sure if I can recite them well so I played it on YouTube). And energized the snake ring in a glass of water. The taste of the water changes too, which is strange and cool.

I don't know how it does that. But I believe the mantras have power. Snake in ancient vedic represents desire, time, sexuality, destruction, death and transformation, nonverbal communication, things you keep secret. It's very different from the other animals. The animals you mentioned also have their own meaning, yes they do have power in common though, but in their own unique ways.

Thank you for adding your thoughts about the pluto in 9th house. I am not super religious, or want to connect with god necessarily. I just wanna be happy. But I'm really philosophical and always want to know the meaning behind the reason for everything. I think like both a philosopher and psychologist.

But I also have mars in 8th house in Scorpio, and Mercury in Virgo squaring pluto which can also contribute in that. 9th house is also values and beliefs you grew up with. I went through a traumatic experience in which I felt extremely misunderstood for a long period of time because of a situation I was put in. I had lost my true self because of it but now I am back and healed myself a lot from that. I believe this definitely has to do with my pluto in 9th house.

I hope the gods you choose can be trusted to bring you whatever relief you expect of them.

You are making contracts and cutting soul-deals with the entities that inhabit the layers for wherever you set your levels.

After you have totally absorbed and Mastered every vibration you muster from the lower realms, you get window-moments that allow you to rise UP.

Sometimes, the lower realms lock on to you, and, like an energetic spiritual acupressure, you'll find there CAN be a moment of the 'parting~or~piercing of the darker clouds', where you catch a glimpse that there IS a vibrationally finer and brilliant Higher Consciousness realm.

And {my prayer is that} you will rise up,
standing on that set Foundation,
sooooo incredibly SOLID in Who you are.
You are much MORE than you think. {{ }}

Wishing you Levels of Mastery for EVERY realm, EVERY single day. Step by step by step.

You Can Do This. {{{{ }}}}

I normally don't 'whole quote' people....

But, what you wrote, Aries23Degrees, is Absolutely GORGEOUS in its Expression, and FILLED with Insights.

Thank you soooo much.

I appreciate your feedback so much.

I think the Pluto experience comes from my own experience when in the 9th house as well.

I became quite unafraid of asking deep seated questions long held to the great unseen being.

I even wanted to "see" God and have a one on one conversation with the being. It was really an intense time.

Aries23Degrees {{ }}, if only you and I lived nearby ---
I could relay to you some stories of a LIFETIME of someone's deep inner searching, and some of the places that led me. I've walked ALL kinds of ways.
God is faithful.

Pluto and, The Magnificent Obsession?

{my natal is Pluto Leo at end of 8th cancer, cusp of 9th Leo. By Progression to natal, has entered my 9th now}

Prepare to be dazzled. Pluto in 9th is deep. So deep. Wish I could have stayed there longer. Powerful.

Pluto is in my 7th by progression. Relationships, Partnerships,Marriage, Co-existing etc. Are things that I will probably have to tackle all my life.

Transiting Pluto is moving to my 10th house now. And its a scary time of having to realize that my parents are aging and a lot of responsibilities that they have,will be downsized or ceded to my siblings and I.

I'm dazzled every day I can tap into that energy.
You are so right.

My Progressed Chart house wheel has had P'Pluto Leo in my P'7th Leo for a long while now.

It's all just been so interesting to experience. It's almost like you really don't know what effect it had, except, in looking backwards (at least, for me).

I've been slowly learning how to do P'LEO energies now!!! super-duper stellium ...

Evolving.
So used to living behind the stage-curtains, and in the backgrounds). Striving to make sure I gain a good flow, like maintaining a hearth, trying ever to tap/draft 'that third-rail'-- The Brilliant and Core-SUN within me(us) and sit/rest within it.

Always with an Ideal-- warmly, lovingly, and as Compassionately as I can... through Grace, With the Heart.

What a Time we live in...

ABOUT your parents ........
That is so discerning of you.

Yes. Being an elder... is such a trippy experience. Every day, you become more and more aware of your own mortality, your limitations-- and yet, Aries23Degrees... SO MUCH Wisdom there to tap into, if your parents are forth-coming with that.

When I see young people becoming aware of the plight of elders, and their stepping up into the responsibility--- ~~ well, my Heart just melts, and has More Confidence and Faith in the Future Generations -- to do the Right thing.

It's hard. It can be awfully hard.

I hope your parents have (or get) an amount of Awakening....
YOU will have Riches under your Roof, in exchange with helping them with their earthly affairs.
