^^that is different from what I am talking about, I mean that they go through a phase were they identify more with the male gender and explore their masculine side, enjoy hanging out more with boys and reject their feminine side for a while but yes they eventually embrace it usually bc they feel they have to in order to attract the opposite sex and then most grow to enjoy it. What you are describing is more like a general trend that teens go through. The fact that the sun represents our masculine side and cancer rules the moon and represents our feminine side explains this initial internal conflict they experience in their early development, gender socialization for them is not as clear cut. Is not a bad thing, I find it interesting. I love the first person who responded to this thread was able to explain this astrologically.
