This post is for anyone that has a Void of Course moon like me. I have it in the 5th house. Me, I’ve never been lucky. I have never been in a relationship, never had the chance to express a talent and just be in happy with life. In fact, I just feel disconnected. I feel like I am fruitless and I don’t have anything that special about me. I love attention but I always ruin myself even more whenever I get a little but of it. I have a mental illness called BPD but I’ve never been treated for it. I no more can entertain a relationship with God because I feel like he didn’t give me a choice with that mental illness and that’s not love. I feel like my heart is full of good things, ideas, love, selflessness but I simply cannot express anything good! Does that have to do with my moon being in a “fruitless” place? Can anyone who also has a VOC moon tell me that I’m not alone? Also, Uranus is in my 8th house about to square my moon. How does the DEATH & REBIRTH transit play out on my dead BIRTH & joy house moon? Honestly I wish it would jolt all the good things in my heart out!! My love for literature, the projects I want to start, the love I want to give and receive from my friends and family...

I was born when Moon was 12° Capricorn, VOC by all definitions. But VOC doesn't have the same significance in the natal chart as it does in horary.

However, I have news for you. Moon was not VOC when you were born in spite of being in the last degree of Capricorn and not applying to any planets in longitude [born 10 July 1998, 10:16 AM, Montreal, right?]. In declination it was 17S31 applying to contra-parallel to Mercury 17N10. This aspect disqualifies it from a true VOC. That aspect of Moon contra-parallel Mercury is one that indicates you tend to 'feel out loud' and process how you think about what you feel by communicating. That is good, because we Moon-in-Cap people can otherwise be too emotionally stuffed. So write!

So, no what you are describing does not have to do with VOC Moon. It could have to do with Moon parallel Uranus 17S56 since that puts them both contra-parallel Mercury. This is a configuration of restlessness and possible discontent as Moon-Uranus creates tension with Mercury, representing your thinking process. So emotions strong, eccentric, but in tension with your cognition. Moon relates to struggles with mental balance/health, especially when in strong/hard aspect with Uranus and/or Mercury.

It is all that love that matters, and all that creativity. One of the things that can happen with Uranus in strong aspect with the Moon is the nervous system/emotions can get over-juiced, too strongly charged. Getting grounded can help. Get out of your head, discharge some energies kinesthetically if that helps, and focus your mind on what you can create today, one small step at a time.

I don't know what to say to how you feel that you were saddled with a mental illness as if it were given to you. I believe it is quite possible you chose it -- as a challenge. However, difficult that may be to imagine, it only looks terrible or insurmountable if you're comparing yourself to others, assuming they have it easier than you. Maybe, maybe not.

Maybe the most important thing is finding enough balance within yourself so that you can feel good about yourself, accept yourself enough to go on a day at a time and find expression for that love you feel and all that creativity. I would love to see you succeed with it.

I have 8th house moon void of couse at 27 degrees Taurus in my natal chart. This can symbolise feelings of emotional isolation. Key is to take appropriate steps in moving forward and to not become trapped in a quagmire of emotional quicksand zapping all time and energy. Reach out to others emotionally.
