Agree.

12th house is where you are blindsided "I never saw that coming". Where Neptune transits, rules and is placed is also where you are likely to face deception or have the wool pulled over your eyes.

8th house is where there are upheavals or disturbances. Where Scorpio is or the house Pluto rules or is placed is where the betrayal is likely to be unforgivable.

I have Uranus in 8th.Uranus rules the 11th. A once close friend of mine slept with an ex whilst I was dating the ex.

The friend has their Sun/Merc conjunct my Neptune.

Same "shocking" thing happened to me in the late 1970s.
Her Sun Taurus conjuncted my Venus H5.

My Venus is quintile Uranus
and Venus opps Saturn in Scorpio.
Juno is Scorpio trine my Mars Cancer H7gemini.
Vesta Cancer H8 trines Saturn

Towards the end, he kept accusing ME of flirting {so untrue}... Even once when we were seated at a restaurant, and I was talking to him while my eyes were looking elsewhere, not really focusing on anything else except maybe the image that was in my head while I talked.

He swore with out-of-balance anger/rage that I was making eyes at other men. (We were engaged to be married.)

Once I announced that I had broken my engagement to him in front of two of my girlfriends, it was sooo bizarre the easy way my Taurus friend let the truth slip out!

She neglected to think that I would be upset about her 'doing it' with my fiancée?!

But then later on, it made me SUPER glad to know that I had almost married this lying scum-bag.

I can tolerate a lot of things in a relationship, but infidelity is a total deal-breaker.
