So I saw this vid made by one of those rooftop parkour daredevils: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWbZUcUB47M And it made me nauseous! Sure I'll do some safer "dangerous" things, but dam! That's intense... So, what could make someone want to partake in such intensely dangerous and risky stunts?? IP: Logged |

I'm one.Aqua Mars Mars square Jupiter Moon trine Mars Mars in 4th Jupiter in 1st Moon in 8th Plus Moon inconjunct Uranus(I suspect this is what makes me crave the constant rush) (I'm having this weird bug in which that heart icon gets chosen in every post even when I actually don't.) Edit: Just checked out the video, now I'm starting to wonder if I'm one or not. IP: Logged |

^ Hmm I've done one or two just for pure adrenaline rush, not as dangerous as the ones in that clip(or maybe they were, coz I would have lost my life had they gone wrong anyway), I do love height.IP: Logged |

Well Pluto needs intense experiences to feel alive, and Mars is the natural risk taker, Kaali is the counterpart of Pluto. Uranus craves and needs excitement/change, takes risks, rocks the boat. Jupiter needs new experiences and to expand its horizons. I have: Scorpio riser, Kaali conjunct AC Mars in Leo sextile Pluto Pluto decile Uranus conjunct Jupiter exact in the 1H. Jupiter conjunct Uranus Quindecile Northnode. IP: Logged |

I'll agree with Mars-Uranus (though this is more noncomformist), but Leo helps (especially if you're going to record it to post on YT). That said, I have 5H Sag moon conjunct Mars in conjunction with Uranus and Neptune, and I can see why I did some daredevil stunts in my youth, but it wasn't the same as on that vid. But there was a time I lived in an abandoned building at 15 that because of the bottom being sealed off required entering it from a parking garage that was about 8 stories up, and about 3-4 feet distance from one building to another (but it wasn't a ledge, it was the roof). I personally didn't have a problem with it, and one time when I had to race out fast from the grown men chasing me, I leaped across without hesitation while they paused, backed up, and then took a running leap across (as the first one was doing that the elevator I got in was closing, and I had presence of mind to hit a bunch of buttons as I got out so that it would take awhile before it would get back to them). I'm going to skip the list of reckless and sometimes daredevil stunts I did as it would be too long to describe, but I will say that for the most part, I was more devil may care rather than a daredevil, but I could enjoy the adrenaline when it happened, which was intoxicating and could make me giddy. The older I got the less likely I was to do things like that, and say I'd have outgrown any lingering daredevil phase by the time I was 25 (doesn't mean I can't make good use of adrenaline when it happens). And despite doing such stupid things as a kid doesn't mean I'll allow any kids to do the same kind of dangerous stunts (if I have any say about it), and consider a lot of things I did as a kid that I enjoyed a failure on the part of the adults who were supposed to watch over me (not that I'm bitter over it, but consider myself very lucky to be in one piece). i really don't think mars-neptune applies to this.Mars-Uranus Mars-Jupiter Sun-Mars Aquarius placements Don't know why a sign of escapism and spirituality would go with being a risk taker and reckless. what's next moon-saturn? IP: Logged |

Not too sure about that one either. I understand risks with substances, though. IP: Logged |

Mars is how we obtain what we want, is drive, passion and action, its motivation.Neptune can be about spirituality so mars-neptune can be about a spiritual quest yes and fighting for your dreams and ideals but neptune like you said is also about wanting to escape the daily grind...so mars-neptune can manifest as someone who experiments with drugs to escape or numb the pain or who takes risks (mars) to escape (neptune) and experience something that feels out of this world. I would say Mars aspect Uranus, Neptune, or Pluto can all fit this criteria in different ways. Mars is what drives us so naturally Mars is playing a key role in activating our dopamine receptors and reward system in our brain. So I guess the ultimate thrill seeker will have Mars conjunct Jupiter in hard aspect to Uranus, Neptune and Pluto LOL But even Mars aspect Saturn can be addicted to work and achievement; that is what gives them an adrenaline rush. That is their form of thrill seeking and what excites them.
