What might you see in one's natal to make them painfully shy. Never speaks unless spoken too, doesn't make eye contact and agreeable and goes alone with everything because they are too shy to speak up.

I know someone with Saturn conjunct Moon in the first house in Taurus would this be the placement/aspect for this?

I was like that when I was younger. Still shy but not as much as before. I would even be shy amongst other family members whom I lived with. I thought my 12th house stellium was the cause of this. I also have Saturn sextile my moon. Moon conjunct Jupiter.
My ascendents ruler being in a water house may have to do with this too.

I was painfully shy as a kid up until age 22. I have Saturn parallel Sag ASC - which I think really contributes to this.

I’m kind of shy. I hold back a lot of myself and internalize thoughts in conversations. Sometimes I won’t even reply. Lmfao
Other times I just talk nonstop it depends on my mood and how comfortable around someone I am.

I think Mars in Cancer is more painfully shy than Mars in Pisces. I have Mars in Pisces and I am very shy in real life but that is only because I have an 8th house stellium and my chart ruler is poorly aspected. My Sun is also poorly aspected. There are three other girls I know who were born around the same time as me and they all have Mars in Pisces and none of them are shy at all. They're actually extremely outgoing and have many many friends. I wish!

I have a friend with Mars and Sun in Cancer though and she is shy too. Another girl I know has just Mars in Cancer and she is shy too.

Mars in the 12th might be shy but I've never met anyone with it before so idk.

Libras pretend and act like they're shy when they're uncomfortable but they're very social creatures and very communicative.

Shyest people I've met are Geminis, Cancers, Virgos, and Aquarius shockingly. Capricorns are not shy, they're just quiet.

I think when the Sun, Moon, Mercury, and/or Uranus is poorly aspected it causes extreme shyness. Squares from these planets to Jupiter or Mars can cause shyness.

I know this is not the culprit cause I know someone like that and he's super extroverted, that Saturn/Moon is only about emotions.

Saturn in the 1st, 3rd or 11th house, along with personal planets falling in the 4th, 8th or 12th house.
