3rd house Cancer Sun, 12th house Pisces Moon, and Aries Ascendant.

I'm the loner artist chick in her own world. Idealistic, dreamy, and eccentric. Very independent and don't mind the loneliness. I have friends, but am horrible at keeping in touch as I'm always focusing on my own thing.

I very much like large cities though and thrive in them strangely enough. I think it's a nice contrast to my otherwise super introverted nature. The yin to my yang.

I tend to be gravitated toward other artsy, weird, and hipsterish people. Anyone who has a passion for the arts in general. But overall, I don't really have a 'scene'

Very Much a Capricorn Ascendant.

Work, Work and more Work...

I have two jobs, an easy weekend overnight job and a contract job during the weekday.

Not that I really need to. I Just like the idea of cash flow >= expenses plus I hate being bored and like coming home thinking I earned my pay rightly.

The only debt I carry is my credit bill for this month. No student loans and my housing costs are under control.

At one time I worked in the government and my parents tried to pursue me it was a great idea, there lazy Cancers.

I've gotten to the point were I treat work the same way as the Japanese do, its a part of life there is no way around it, get use to it and try to improve what you do if you spot something wrong.

In contrast the average person would see work as a chore.

Dual Gem …
I was listening to a radio program a few days ago, where the financial coach was advising a woman who worked as an attorney in the government's social justice programs, to QUIT her job immediately, go work in the private sector, and GREATLY increase her wealth.
Her government job paid crap-wages.
She was counting on reaching 10 years service with the government, with a promise that they would forgive her 222,000++ school debt loan, IF she were to stay Serving our People.

I've seen articles that many who have DEVOTED their lives to Public Service are now teetering on being POOR themselves, while 'assistance' is being stripped by current administration.

I VOLUNTEER in her field {screening calls, and qualifying them for assistance-- also requires me 'holding hands' and giving some emotional encouragement to those who are in SUCH despair right now}. I directly observed the effects that the 'cuts' in fundings have had-- both for the employees that remained, AND, for the poverty-stricken clients who are being atrociously taken-advantage-of, by some pretty-ruthless business owners out in the community. When you don't have someone representing you, you do NOT know what your Rights are.
Fewer people can afford to be represented.
The criteria for qualifying is strict and very narrow in what is offered anymore.

So. DG!!
Hardy Congratulations, and Good for you, for having all your finances in tremendously good order.

Please have Mercy on 'Loser'-Cancer Energies, and your Parents?? … because they NEVER could have imagined nor anticipated this 'horrendous total financial disaster' and PERIL coming to this country.

The intellectually-based "Capitalism" Ideal is a very sound and GOOD plan for prosperity. It's the ultimate "Utopian Solution" for solving 'poverty'. Some USA philanthropic-based organizations have "proved" it as a solution among the poorest and most-remote communities in foreign lands (like in Africa).

Some children are raised branded and ~baptized into Capitalistic thinking, preparation for life, from birth. It's like breathing, and second-nature to them. These are the ones now amassing MUCH MUCH Wealth, as they gain more political clout and representation in various governments.

These are MASSIVELY SHIFTING times!
Some generations of people could have NEVER imagined the scope (and now dire consequences) of it.

Prosperity (and Survival) Solutions need to be found for ALL-- and not just for 'some', for whom this is second-nature?

Congratulations on your Math degree???, or, on having mastered what it was you pursued, DG.

I hope you 'use' your Cancer Placement and Houses (from H6 {volunteerism} to a kind of prosperity for others that could come, H7).

I SINCERELY hope and pray that your genuinely bright Gemini Sun/Mercury mind with super math-aptitudes and intellect, will find Place ('scene') ... to figure out Natural SOLUTIONS and Innovations that can Benefit and bring Increase of WellBeing and Quality of Life to ALL of Humanity.

MANY Blessings to you. Great Successes.

My ex1 had a super-duper Stellium in Virgo (in my 9th!), with some placements in Scorpio (my H11).

Virgo is ruled by Mercury, as well as Gemini.

He was a senior scientific programmer analyst, and as a side-hack was involved in creating some of the first games. Programmed Macs for scientists on the side, too.

It was his 'dream' to have his own business.
I did all the research at a law library, and created a corporation around his talent. We quadrupled our income. (Then!, he said that was HIS money. He extorted great sums from our company, stole the equipment, diverted incoming sums of money to a secret mail address... )

Yeah. He was a certified genius. International chess-champion (by mail).
Had law marshalls from other countries knocking at my door to demand monies (that I had NO idea was happening behind my back).
He had his own 'lot number' at several upscale auction houses in several states (that I didn't know about).
Found out he used funds to his OWN business selling coins, gold, stamps, to over 19+? countries all over the world?
We were living in a very humble residence-- a fixer-upper.
He led a secret financial life, extorting monies from our company.
The judge presiding was personally appalled when he dug into the details!

When all his criminal activities came to light, my dad said it's too bad he didn't use his genius for Good, to work together financially in our marriage. We probably would have been in the upper 2 %, and living very well??

I think he finished earning a PhD in Math after our divorce.
The Feds had been watching him for years.
He was 'kiting', and got caught.
Completely abandoned his 1 and 3 year old daughters.
Averted jail-time by agreeing to paying his back-support to the children and me, who were struggling not to become homeless. I was forced to work a job that paid very low money. The childcare had cost MORE than my mortgage, and the kids were constantly sick from 'daycare germs'. The youngest child almost died.

Ah! The plight of single divorced moms with small children.

What incredibly hardy and worthy souls and soldiers!!!
