I realized that some people just are probably better at dealing with college after age 30 than before it.So what's the astrology of someone who might not feel/be prepared for college until after 30, or around there (like 28/29 years old)??? IP: Logged |

I finished year 9, 14 years of age. School wasnt for me. I saw high school as kiddie prison. Somewhere to put useless teenagers (no offence) until their hormones calmed down. Everything we really need we learn in primary/elementary school anyway. Funnily enough, I told everyone, I'll head back at 30, when Im old, and lived my life. And boy did I live it. Then went back at 31! Who knew, I'd know that all those years ago. Not sure what aspect that would be in my chart though.. At the college, they did say the average age of students were 30. It was most people second career change, thats why they were there. IP: Logged |

To me, personally, we have learned enough by age 16, so around 10th grade. It sounds like you had a great time from age 14 to 31. It sounds fun!!! Your prediction came true about going back to college. IP: Logged |

Capricorn on the 9th house cusp Saturn transiting the 9th house cusp (what I have) Saturn in the 9th house cusp Saturn in aspect to the 9th house cusp.I think post 30 most people have a better idea understanding of who they are and what they want. So studying something in relation to that is what makes college or university life a success. Its also a maturity thing. Not necessarily only those who are 30 etc. So if you have Saturn trine Moon and the Moon sextiles the 9th house cusp or is in the 9th house natally, you may be the type who goes to college to study and graduate. Not to mess around. If Uranus, Neptune or Jupiter is in the 9th or aspect the 9th house cusp/planet in the 9th, you will have to monitor yourself and be very disciplined. As there is a higher probability that you will get distracted or lose your way. Uranus in 9th can drop out. And Neptune in 9th can be confused about what to major in. Whilst Jupiter there can focus on too much of a good time and not enough on books. For these guys, the Saturn return may be of advantage because it would only be then that they truly get their priorities straight. Either that or a progression of Saturn to 9th house cusp or Saturn transit in aspect to planet in the 9th. IP: Logged |

I also heard that Jupiter retrograde can cause someone to have troubles with College before age 30, or 35.

I felt the same, and also decided to wait to do studies a bit later. I've got 9th house Cap stellium.

Saturn transiting 1st house can do this too. The only thing is not everyone experiences this transit before age 30. Some people get it at like 10 or something and then they end up having Saturn transiting 1st house again after their Saturn Return. For me, Saturn went through my 1st house starting in 2014 and the transit ended in 2017 and I haven't yet become 30.I'm 26, and in my case, college would probably be much easier for me now, mostly because of Saturn's visit through my 1st house. It isn't like I ever messed around in college or anything, but I"m healthier than I used to be and my health issues got in the way of me properly focusing on college. Considering my health issues, completing assignments on time was often very difficult. This being said, I made mostly B's and I seemed able to do the work, just not with as much ease as the average student and this meant it took me a lot longer to get certain things done. I'm not sure if I'll ever return to college though. It might be difficult to find a job with my English degree, which is unfortunate since I believe English is the only major for me. Before I put college on hold for the sake of dealing with my health problems, I had declared a minor in Creative Writing. I want to write fiction. It's funny too. Even when I was younger, I fully expected to change paths to something more realistic as I got older. This hasn't happened and I'm not sure if it ever will. IP: Logged |

I have sun and mercury in 9th house Taurus. slow mover. Also Saturn i 4th Trine both. I started university at the age of 29 so thats that. Saturn in contact with 9th house planets is enough to delay things in my case. 3 years forward and now I will have my bachelors degree this June.IP: Logged |

In the Astrology I practice,I have Capricorn in the 9th house. And it’s pretty true in that, unlike Sagittarius would, I don’t like to learn useless **** . I will do college soon because I already have a plan on what I want my future to be like In my head. And with that plan, I want to do college for a certain period of time before I get to a certain age. I am 22, Ideally, 30 would be a better time to start college. I like that at 22 my perception of time has already sped up a lot. This could be because I have had an established routine for years, or if could be because I got older. Whatever it is, I feel like older is better in that regard. I can get it done faster... However, because I want to have an established career sooner, ideally it’s better than I do college sooner... so that’s my two cents...IP: Logged |

That would be my bf, who spent years in community college flunking because of a lack of motivation, and by 31 is now doing a PhD. He's a cap rising, taurus sun / mercury in 5th, Virgo moon in the 9th.I myself went to college at 18 but think I would have done a lot better now at age 23. I think I was too immature for it, lacked a life philosophy that gave me the confidence to pursue anything wholeheartedly (moon in the 9th needs this), and even feel like my brain wasn't fully developed enough to understand certain subjects until recently! I have Sag sun/mercury in the 5th, leo rising, aries moon in the 9th. IP: Logged |

How Gemini, I am. I'm currently finishing another degree that is if you consider community college a degree. My first community college diploma is in Game Development. I'm currently over 30, but thanks to my "Gemininess" I don't look older then 25. Right now I'm finishing a second degree in computer science with a concentration in computer security in a different university, but I'm getting the equivalent courses at a different institution. I just have to finish my Honours Project, take any upper level university math course then I get my degree. I'm finally happy since this is the right degree for me since its actually accredited and is from a real university. Unlike my community college diploma. For me its the environment and the parents. Both constantly getting in the way. Both my parents are Cancers, they can be caring but controlling and they aren't intelligible when it comes to making decisions and force me to go along with it. My saturn return hit so my parents are no longer an obstacle and I'm back home, literally 6 blocks from the downtown hospital where I was born. So nothing is blocking me anymore!!! I've actuality taken Engineering courses at other Universities as a visiting student. I'm actually finding it a lot easier since every university has a different environment. My home university they try to challenge you or trick you as you learn to make sure to understand, I think its cheap to do that. At other universities, they won't ask what they didn't show you which I think is more fair. I constantly get A's or B+ at other universities in Science or math but never at my home school just because the way they teach. Class averages for the same courses are higher too!!. My Planets ========================================= ☉‘ ♊, ☽ ♈, ASC ♑, ☿ ♊, ¡÷ ♉, ¡ö ♋ , ♃ ♒, ♄ ♏, ♅ ♐, ♆ ♑

Yes! My bf. He was terrible at college when he was younger. He was unmotivated and distracted when he was younger. Now he is in his 30s and graduated summa *** laude and last year earned his masters in science with the highest marks. He was encouraged by his professor to pursue his ph.D.! I don't know what in his chart indicates that but he did say people change and get smarter when they get older. Neptune is his most elevated planet, probably indicating he wasn't sure for a long time what he wanted to do or become? Saturn rules his 9th.Haha! I love how they edited out c u m !!!

It could be. Jupiter on the one hand can give great insight into a subject. You just "get" it. But on the other hand, you think you know the subject so well that you miss the details. You take studying for granted for example. Jupiter is brilliant...no doubt. But Saturn gives credibility(qualifications) to that brilliance. So u need both or at-least cultivate Saturnine qualities within you as much as possible and take nothing for granted. Jupiter gets you into varsity. Saturn gets you out. IP: Logged |

I have Saturn in Scorpio in the 9th house. And the ruler of Scorpio Pluto in the 8th house, with my co--ruler of Scorpio Mars in the 2nd house. Recently, I was trying to get my Bachelors degree while, Saturn was in Scorpio and I switched Universities in 2016 and then went to another online university. Upon going to that university for a 2 year almost, I had to stop this January 2018. My progress has been thwarted.------------------ Primarose628 IP: Logged |

Totally this. I have Scorpio Saturn in 9th house as co-ruler of my Aqua AC. I'm a college drop out, after graduating High School I did not exactly want what to study being my gift languages, but not sure in those times. I graduated in French and English after 30, I re-took my studies at the midtime of my Saturn return. IP: Logged |

At 19, I tried going to college straight out of high school, for nursing, but the classes were full so I took a year off. Then I tired going again when I was 20, for business and lasted a semester. I thought I was waisting my time learning literally outdated material and it wasn't challenging in the least. Now I'm 26 and have thought about going back recently. I haven't made up my mind. I think it's mostly the Capricorn in me that feels like I need to accomplish this part of life. I enjoy learning and the setting of school. At the same time I don't want to waste my money and time for some piece of paper when I can build something of my own. So who knows lol. Saturn is also in my 10th, Neptune closest to my Midheaven. So I know I'm a late bloomer and Neptune just creates confusion. But I think Capricorn/Saturn has something to do with waiting. My brother is a phlebotomist and is pursuing his nursing degree and he's 35. He was terrible at school, hated tests. He worked in a nursing home for a long time and worked his way up to become a phlebotomist. After he turned 30, he wanted to open a UPS store, and become an electrician (which he did go to classes for but didn't pursue.) He has Saturn in his 10th too. IP: Logged |
