So... Pluto. This is a major player in my chart, since it conjuncts my saturn and squares my moon/mars conjunction. It just seems like Pluto takes over everything, sometimes. I've noticed I draw Plutonian people or people who make strong Pluto interactions in my synastry, as well.

I have a love/hate relationship with Pluto. It leads me to better places, but it's a really painful process. Now I have Pluto opposing my natal moon. If anyone can share their experiences with Pluto and Pluto aspects, it would be helpful right now.

If Pluto is major player and the dark one then I will put all blame on pluto.
My life is in total dark.
Pluto making aspetcs to almost all of my natal planets including sun, moon, venus, mercury, mars, saturn, jupiter, neptune.
Also there are chiron,fortuna point,vesta,juno,mc.
Some aspects soft, some soft.
Now you guys tell. http://imgur.com/Tgw6POI
I can't figure out with my little brain.

lizzy807, his old thread Transits with long lasting (after) effects might have some insights worth reading.

In general, Pluto asks us to dig deeper in finding the core self that lasts beyond death. You could call it the godself. With Moon in hard aspect to Pluto, trauma or dread of losses, etc, can come up as themes. These aspects require therapeutic treatment -- especially creative work -- even if you feel you've not really been through much that you can recall. You the soul have been at some point. Challenging natal aspects with water factors, Moon, Neptune, Pluto need the recognition that you are an amazingly rich and deep well of creativity!

The transit factors are challenging too, of course, but if you've got strong natal factors involving Pluto and have learned to handle it well, they may not be as difficult for you.

Pluto in hard transit to natal Moon means emotional/inner transformation of some kind. I went through Pluto conjunct my Moon for 6 years (using 5° orb), and it just ended this past year. It also involved a square from Uranus, so it was very tough to process consciously during it, but I feel I'm learning more in the aftermath and making the adjustments I need to keep growing.

Uranus and/or Pluto transits to the Moon can mean a period of time that require extra effort to stay in balance emotionally. **** is probably gonna happen around you that you don't like, but it does not have to change you for the worse! At minimum, it helps to do some deep breathing and release pent up stress, but even better if you can do an effective meditation or progressive relaxation routine on a regular basis.

I like your attitude that it leads to better places in spite of the painful process. Yes -- because we are bigger than any pain we go through.

Transit Pluto was Quintile my Sun the night I met my ex. I kissed him at first sight.

Transit Pluto was square my Sun when I met my partner.

Thank you all. I appreciate your feedback. @Kannon McAfee, thank you for the in depth reply. I can relate to only realizing the growth from Pluto once it's passed. When I'm in the thick of it, I can't see how it's shaping me, I can only feel the struggle of it. It's only after I've moved past it that I can see how it had a positive impact. I will check out the link you posted. Again, thanks.

I thought this would be interesting to add to a thread about Pluto. New research was recently released:

"The new research, which was published in the journal Icarus, uses the wealth of data gathered by the New Horizons mission to suggest the possibility that Pluto is really just a big ball of crashed comets."

How perfect is that. The destroyer and bringer of new life was created from the destruction of comets...so fitting.

I like slow moving planets bc they allow the energy to built up increasing the chances that an event will take place. Hopefully that makes sense.

Hey I would not be surprised at all if you meet someone. ;0)

Best of Luck!

I believe that Pluto's opposition to my natal Moon triggered limerence for me, because this transit happened in 2007 and then again in 2008 by a point in time in which I know I was limerent. My limerence was very unhealthy, but my limerent object definitely helped me see how men are impacted by sexism and how it's not just women that are affected by it. The effects of the opposition lasted until June 2011 even though the transit had already officially ended much earlier. I'm still not sure how the opposition connects to limerence specifically. All I know is that I was very fixated on and obsessed with my limerent object and it was a difficult time in my life. It felt like I was on illegal drugs whenever I couldn't be around my limerent object in the way I desired and I most definitely wasn't on any. The things I experienced during this transit and while the effects were still wearing off reminded me of what I hear about drug addicts. Natally, Pluto is conjunct my Ascendant from 12th house. In my natal chart, the Moon and Pluto make a bi-quintile aspect.

With Pluto opposing your Moon, expect emotional turmoil for awhile. You're probably older than I was when I had this transit so chances are this transit could manifest through your experiences with another person. You've already mentioned attracting Plutonic partners so this would support my guess.

Pluto is my chart ruler. When I was very young, transit Pluto went through my 1st house. I have also experienced transit Pluto in aspect to my Sun, Venus, and Mars and it is presently square my natal Mercury. When Pluto is in the late degrees of Aquarius, it will make another aspect to my Moon in Gemini.

From my experiences so far, Pluto brings out the darker side of life. Especially when it was transiting my 1st house, the things I experienced were very dark and reflective of my shadow side. In fact, my shadow qualities used to be the loudest traits I could see. When it comes to Pluto, nothing is ever easy, simple, and straightforward. I feel like Pluto has contributed to me becoming much stronger as a person, though before I got to "stronger" I was nearly pushed to my breaking point and I experienced several obstacles that made me feel like I would rather die than continue living as I was.

That is pretty fitting. That's sort of the role Pluto plays in my life. It's like I've pushed a self-destruct button, but more often than not, the self-destruction was necessary. Maybe because my Pluto is conjunct Saturn, I'm not sure, but I can be very stubborn and resistant when it comes to change. I don't necessarily dislike it, but I resist it. Then all of the sudden, it builds up and I embrace the change, but by that point, it's like a bomb goes off.

How perfect is that. The destroyer and bringer of new life was created from the destruction of comets...so fitting.

Lerena, I can relate to what you're saying. I'm 34 now and this opposition is exact, currently. It's definitely affecting my relationships. I've pulled the plug on two friendships that were very one sided and I've been struggling with my partner. He's got Saturn opposing Venus right now, and me with this pluto/moon opposition, it's created a lot of friction between us. Some of it has been caused by me, some of it by him, but it's been challenging, that's for sure. The one good thing is I think it's strengthening us, even if it's been painful. I'm Virgo and Cancer dominant, and so I don't really let go of relationships easily. For me to be making such radical changes in my relationships right now, it's out of character for me. I can only assume it's Pluto's influence.

Yes, Somna7H, I can completely relate. Change for me is a bitter sweet thing. I know it's for the best but it's still a challenge. Even when I know something is good for me to leave behind, I struggle. I attach myself too much to situations, people and things. It makes parting extremely difficult. That's one reason this transit is perhaps very good for me. I'm doing what I should have been doing ages ago. I'm just doing so extremely clumsily.

Someone can add more experiences on pluto transit 1th house. I believe that since my adolencencia I have had problems of self-control, vices, and dark experiences, also many impulsivities .. I have realized that I was very manipulative ... problems on dark side scorpio and pluto. According to what I read this transit is transforming but in an aggressive way ..
