I often find myself rolling my eyes at scientific articles proving or claiming something that has always been known. It's cringe worthy, sometimes. Scientists could be doing so much better.

I see articles like: "Unsafe sex is more likely after drinking"
really?

And: "Low vitamin D linked to depression."

oh wow thx science.

But anyhow, I was reading this article:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/health/children/8741380/M onth-a-baby-is-born-suggests-what-career-they-will-have.html

"Month a baby is born 'suggests what career they will have'
The time of year a baby is born can shape what profession they will embark on in later life, a new study has suggested."

And I was just like: "no Sh** Sherlock. Ever heard of astrology? That ancient study of what makes us different depending on what month/year we were born? No??"

Article also says: "A February birth appears to increase the chances of being an artist while March babies appear to go on to become pilots"

You don't say?

(The pilot part probably has to do with planets moving into Aries)

I facepalm science so much lately.

Nice excuse, trying to use the amount of sunlight absorbed by babies to discredit astrology.

Retarded f*cks.

Sometimes I wonder if we’re really the cuckoo ones. The argument in that article is so f*cking dumb.

I grew up loving science. I know what you mean. These topics are like not original. The last article killed me -- way to discredit astrology. haha People (generally) will accept science and get amaze by that fact... put astrology -- they look at you crazy.
