Does this have any bearing on how we are? I am a Cancer Sun/Cap Moon but this seems to have fell under the constellation of Gemini. So, according to “papers” I’m a Cancer/Cap but would the energy of Gemini have colored me too?

Well that falls under Vedic/Jyotish Astrology which just so happens to be the Astrology I believe in! I believe It is the more accurate astrology as it is based on the real constellations and planets and stars as they are currently not something that is out dated or based on seasons which are different all throughout the world.
In vedic Astrology the two most important parts are moon placement aka Nakshatra and Lagna also known as Ascendant or Rising sign.. so instead of looking to the sun like they would in western astrology they would look to the moon but of course it’s shifts back a sign...
It’s all just really fascinating. Then the housenplacements and aspects give you a vibe and flair of that too..
