Many interpretations. But yes that is one of them.It could also mean studying something very complex. IP: Logged |

I have this natally trine my ASC in Gemini and I used to love school with a passion and learning but as I got older I don't care much for structured learning and prefer to do things on my own. School became more and more of a bore for me as I realized it was blatantly repetitious...Waste of time in my opinion, you could learn most things online. The only time I think further schooling is necessary is perhaps if you were trying to be a doctor or a scientist because then of course I do not want a self-taught doctor or scientist trying to do something in a hospital. I am always and forever a bookworm though (Venus in Sag). I learn most of the stuff I know from reading books or just reading between the lines from online sources. Truth be told, I have never actually sat down and studied astrology faithfully through books or classes though. I picked it up from researching it online and from then I just used common sense to interpret lots of things. I feel this placement makes you more of a common sense person and allows you to better see past intricate issues due to your extensive use of common sense. You are always thinking "but what's the point of doing that when you could just do this?" IP: Logged |

I've got this, and yeah, I can say this is true. I have to learn in my own way, on my own watch. Somethings I can learn faster, others slower, which is why I tend to go it alone when I learn/study and can't really stand learning according to someone else's standards because it makes me feel like I'm suffocating. Now, if someone is flexible enough that they can teach me according to the rhythm/rate I learn, then sure, have at it. If anything, though, I do love to learn. Sometimes I just want to study something so deeply that I'll vanish for days.

Another thing about this placement, if we're talking about a teen kid who's trying their best to learn in school and conform to the teaching style, they'll likely suffer a lot and have major academic difficulties. This person would have to realize that they need to figure out their own way of learning. IP: Logged |
