Does anyone use them?

I notice when I read about them, there are always signs attached. Ex: Rose Quartz is Venus related. Astro signs: Taurus & Libra

Why is this? Does it mean only those signs should use?

Don't make fun of me, but I just bought a few to test out the metaphysical properties. We'll see how it goes, but I'd love to hear your personal experiences.

I'm a HUGE crystal nerd!!! YAY a chance to share my info!

Here is a list of crystals associated with each sign, from my own personal research: some will overlap, many crystals are associated with more than one sign or planet. As far as who uses them, ANYONE can use whatever crystal they please, especially if they resonate towards it. However, zodiac stones can be especially powerful for you (and if you know your full chart you can work with multiple signs present in your chart). This can serve as a guideline though for anyone interested <3

Those associations are rather simplistic and may give a stone that is somewhat appropriate to people of those signs, but you'll get much better help in choosing gems and crystals by consulting The Crystal Bible. I flip through it while in a meditative focus and see where I stop. I've chosen stones for myself, friends, and clients this way as seen in placed on this forum. I think Randall linked it.

The stones that will work best for you are those that bring you into balance for a given period of time, not necessarily a stone that matches a factor in your birth chart unless that factor is a particular 'stumbling stone' in your life.

Thank you both SO much. Starry, that was super helpful.

And Kannon, I really enjoyed reading your post. You make me want all of the stones on your list, especially the Larimar

I haven't been to a shop in person, but based on pictures, I feel "drawn" to Blue Lace Agate and Rose Quartz. Ordered some online. Definitely interested to see how it goes. I can see myself getting obsessed with this stuff haha

Let me know if you want some Kunzite. I have plenty to share. They're rough pieces, but small enough to fit inside a pouch.

So I figured you guys may find this funny. I receieved my new crystals in the mail today, and my curious toddler picks one up and licks it. I brush it off, thinking it's just a kid thing. Then my husband gets home, I show him and the first thing he does is stick it in his mouth 🤔 Not really sure what that's about, but I found their reactions interesting!

^ That's hilarious, Bananaz.
Well, if you think about it?

Pink Quartz can look like sugar-frosted frozen lemonade ice-cubes?

Blue agate looks sooo soothing and creamy lite rich. Inviting. Blue agate is good for throat-area.

Maybe since they licked these, it will be lucky-spit!!

Enjoy your stones, and your family.
May you be Blessed with all the knowledge and good energies these can bring you.

After you've collected these over a period of years, if they are the smaller stones and pieces, you might take a big crystal bowl {maybe sprinkled with a few sprigs of sage} to admire them.

(Sometimes the local thrift stores get Beautiful cut-glass vases and bowls from families that have given all these away, when their elder passed.)

Enjoy!

Oh!!! By the way... some stones are TOXIC.

You might want to find out which kind would maybe make you sick. Definitely not the lickable type!

Some are not safe to have in direct contact with your skin, or to be in prolonged contact with your flesh.

Thanks!

I love the way you described this. Sounds so lovely 💜 You must have some nice Venus aspects or some other designer energy

My chart placements and dynamics are strong for aesthetics.

eye for seeing and appreciating quality
sense and create atmospheres

I notice in your OP that you mention Taurus and Libra--

Venus Taurus 12+ in 5th-Taurus
6th cusp Taurus 22+, with Sun Gem there.

Venus opp Saturn-rx Scorpio
Venus quintile Uranus Cancer H8

'beauty and adornments' Juno-rx 4+ Scorpio H11
'nicely discriminating' Virgo Moon 24.56 H(9)leo

Venus-ruled Libra MC 2+
Neptune-rx {the arts} in Libra 25+ Tenth House

Rocks are Beautiful
(song) I'll tumble for you?? LOL
{my sense of humor is active today *ahem*}

If you haven't discovered them yet--
You should do a computer-search to find a store named Avalon in your area.
They carry an assortment of rocks, herbs {different types of sage}, and incense (among other things).

Another place where you can examine and experience stones and gems is Spiral Circle. They carry supplies for Cayce-remedies too.

Both stores carry an assortment of books, some on stones. You'll be able to look through the books {even purchase one} and choose the rocks that best suit your purposes.

Both have staff who are knowledgeable and careful about the sources who supply the stones. Very helpful people.

These are in close proximity {walking distance} to each other.

Then, for a treat, go visit 'The Dandelion' (strictly vegan. refreshments) also within walking distance to them both.

Have I been VIRGO enough in my details today??

Happy New Moon Virgo tomorrow!!!
.. Trines my Venus Taurus H5
Wide-conjuncts my own Virgo Moon H(9)

I’ve been slowly getting back into it. I wore a Petoskey necklace a few weeks ago. I found no info online for the best way to cleanse and charge it. So I just did my own thing. I had a good experience with it.

I’m getting back into jewelry, and try to occasionally cleanse and charge them

I’m an Aries
