How do you guys deal with it?

I like most of my chart, but my Gemini Moon is something I greatly dislike. I dislike the fact that I could be speaking the truth and others dismiss it as a probable lie. I have to actively learn how to listen before another talks and I stop myself from jumping in before they finish (i'm getting better at this). I feel as though other people sense the nervousness we emit with this placement and are quick to run the other way. I hate that I come across as an airhead when I'm not. I've really never met a Scorpio moon that liked me, I know they sense the gemini moon and are quick to hate me. Celebs with gemini moon (J-Law, Priyanka Chopra, Gwyneth Paltrow) put me off.

I dislike that its not easy for me to form very strong bonds with people over long periods of time (something my venus in cancer yearns for!)

I guess one things thats good about knowing I'm a gemini moon is that i can use astrology to mitigate the bad parts of the placement.

:/

Aww... poor lil Gem Moon.. Is there other planets that are making it feel unaccepted?

For me, which hard aspect to pic from?

I struggle with my Venus square Moon. I wonder just how obvious is my "self esteem issues" to other people?

I don't think I have any esteem issues - it is what it is and I am what I am. As others are too. We've all got something, right?

But, yes, I am in denial, apparently. With my Venus also is in the 12H, I never saw any of the betrayals. And I was blind to the usings too. I just thought everyone was doing their best to love and care for each other.

These days, it's that. Or my badly aspected Sun :/

I manage them the same way as you: knowledge is power, astrology gives us this. I am watchful of myself and others. I exercise boundaries. And I try to not take it all too hard. All I can do really?

I take comfort in knowing that it is often our flaws that most people relate to and find endearing. So, be ok with them but also be responsible with them.

Sun in 6th house and Venus in 6th house for me. I even made a thread about it. Coming to terms with these natal placements was incredibly difficult, because I hate the 6th house. After a while, the thought occurred to me that perhaps the reputation of the 6th house makes it sound like it *has* to be dull and boring, which I don't think is necessarily true anymore. Most people are going to think the 6th house is boring, because it's described in a way that makes it sound boring, but if someone has the right daily routine and their day-to-day focuses are properly prioritized and structured, the realm of the 6th house can be more enjoyable than it appears from its usual descriptions.

The above paragraph is brought to you by the planet Uranus. With how much I've hated the 6th house, most of the shaking up from Uranus is likely going to be a good thing while also making me suffer in some ways that end up helping me become more healthy. Even though Uranus is back in my 5th house while it's in Retrograde, I've already gotten a taste of its influence on my 6th house.

----

There are positives of having a Gemini Moon. Gemini Moons aren't boring, they're good with words and communication, and they're often flexible and have a good sense of humor. Around a Gemini Moon, it's unlikely they'd drive people away with their intensity and depth. Their strength is being able to talk to anyone and everyone so they end up with a lot of connections since a lot of people know them. They are friendly and often well-read with many hobbies and knowledge on countless topics.

However, it's possible for the natal chart to compensate for some of a Gemini Moon's qualities, especially when aspected by Saturn or Pluto.

The main thing I love about Gemini Moons is they're resilient and bounce back from things easily, because they don't have time for deep emotions. They're too busy with their one million hobbies.

Unfortunately, I don't relate to many descriptions of Gemini Moons. I also have Moon in Gemini, but many of their usual qualities aren't there with me, especially since Saturn's transit through my 1st house. With me, everything is "srs business" lately and it's exhausting. I've been trying to nurture some of my Gemini Moon's qualities simply because no, getting something to drink isn't a matter of life or death and the universe is not under attack by a force of immediate, unimaginable evil. I'd like to say I'm exaggerating and I am to an extent, but some of my behavior is at similar levels of ridiculous.

Not everything has to be super deep and intense to be interesting or worth my time. I'd probably have more friends if I was like the usual Gemini Moon and I'm sure I'd be less stressed out too.

Where is your moon and venus at if you don't mind me asking?

And to answer the question, my gem moon is completely unaspected but it does reside in the 9th house

I dislike my Pisces Mars. Sometimes I feel low in energy and not able to be very persistent in my goals..I do things very much based on my feelings. I can also be too forgiving at times and swing bet. periods of optimism and depression. My Neptune aspects to Moon/Venus/Mars don't help.

Thankfully I have a Taurus sun/Mercury and Saturn aspects to Sun/Mercury/Mars that give me the groundedness and consistency I need, even though I can at times still lapse into dreaminess.

I dislike my Gem Moon because it is the most inaccurate placement in my chart. So much so that I am getting sick of reading my chart and am ready to give up on my own astrology. Nothing about it resonates with me through the years I have studied this placement. I hate it with a burning passion and I will never come to terms with it because it is just flat-out wrong.

Geesh, I thought this thread was going to have a "I have made peace with it" vibe to it.

Moon in Gemini I find hilarious. They can be a lot of fun.But perhaps I am sensitive to words. Sometimes I find their words too biting.

I love every placement I have. I used to have issues with Cancer moon. But I realized that it enables me to create a "homey" environment in places I live in.

I have the same issue but with my Aquarius moon. I understand because I get si frustrated reading my natal chart and the description of Aquarius moon doesn’t fit me. It’s one of the reasons Im trying to move on from astrology. It can pretty get frustrating.

I feel the same. I go on and research Scorpio Moon as it explains my life experiences whereas Gemini Moon doesn't at all. I already am Aqua/Scorpio dominant as it is.

Sun, Mercury, and Neptune in 8th all conjunct.

That being said, I've disliked my entire chart at times, I felt like it's "not good enough" or something stupid like that. My Capricorn and 6th house placements make me want perfection, I want the best and I've always felt like my chart is not the best or even good. I am always seeing the negative side of my chart. There was even a time where I would go through all the fixed stars and symbolic degrees of my entire chart and have little panic attacks because of how horrible they were. Bleh!

But I've learned to grow out of that. Because, really, at the end of the day we all have really horrible parts to our charts but we all also have really amazing parts to our charts too. It's just some of us are worry warts and are more likely to stick our nose up those bad placements and obsess over them. Any fellow Plutonians/Fixed people here? Lol.

I just realized the notion of good placements and bad placements is not really that important in the sense of liking or disliking them. We all have the good and bad placements somewhere so there is really no point in liking one over the other or disliking one placement over the other. It's true there are "those" placements that are just so horrible and antagonizing that they can really make or break you as a person, but if we are still alive at least we can learn from the annoyance and suffering it can bring.

If millions of people can have the same placement as me and still make the most of their life then maybe I can too? I mean, the placements are still not appealing but at least I know that they can be worked on and worked over, as others have done it years before me and even now they are doing it as we walk the planet together. My stasis out of dislike for certain placements in my natal is just self-fulfilling prophecy. You know?

Thank you for this . We (Cancer Moons) don't have many fans due to our pesky reputation of being crabby. So I take whatever compliments we get. lol

I am surrounded by Gemini Moons! My oldest daughter is one and she is anything but flighty to quick with words... and she's a double Gem! But Saturn conjuncts her Moon and her Mercury is in Taurus so this colors her expression greatly. She is hysterical, very smart, and a nice balance to her sister and myself who are much more water and fire.

Love your Gemini moon and find the people who love it too!

For me, probably Mercury inconjunct Moon. I feel like the only time I can accurately express myself, and sincerely, is in writing. I am slow to respond in words, but my mind is quick I just would love for them to connect one day!

I know two Cancer moons well and neither one is crabby! My friend has a giant heart and is very selfless, and it helps soften her Leo Sun and nature. My ex-husband was very sweet and affectionate, too bad he had another side to him as well that was deceptive and prone to lying. No backbone. But both were and are very upbeat, very positive, caring and affectionate people.

As much as I can appreciate my Neptunian Moon and the sensitive, artistic qualities about it, there's TOO much of it. Pisces Moon is great and all, but I REALLY wish it wasn't also in the 12th house. Plus, it sextiles my Neptune (2 degrees). It has only positive aspects (so it makes it somewhat easier to deal with), but my God, the amount of Piscean influence is killing me! I really wish it could be in the 11th or something.

Also, I have too much water. Cancer Sun,  Mercury, and Venus with a Scorpio Pluto. The rest is all earth except for my Aqua Saturn and Aries Ascendant...so at least there's some grounding there? But it's hard when your Moon is like a hot air balloon and you're floating up in the clouds all the time.

I'm used to having a lot of water and feminine placements in general, so what's done is done, I guess. Astrology does help us in becoming more self-aware, so at least I can identify my problem areas and learn to work with them to the best of my ability.

Wow and I thought I was Piscean. Sometimes I wish I was born a day or 2 later, I would have been a Pisces moon, it’s better than having the moon known for being so cold with no emotions. But I have my moon in the 12th house like you. Along with a 12th house stellium and Pisces stellium. So I wonder sometimes if it’s good that I have an Aquarius moon, because I already feel quite emotional, if I had a water moon I might not be able to live in this world. But Im scared to not feel anything, because I think that’s worse. It’s good to feel and empathy. Really good. And having an air moon worries me that I will become a sociopath or something even though I know I feel but astrology has made me feel self conscious of it that I dont know if I know myself anymore... I have to constantly check and reassure myself I am not an unemotional cold Aqua moon..., having an air moon sucks, it really does. I wish I didn’t have it. With a water moon I think you just have to learn to compose it a bit so you can use the positive with it. Without being excessively emotional where you can’t actually use those emotions for good. And you can definitely do it, it just takes patience, maybe meditation.

Actually Im surprised that Aquarius is my 2nd dominant because I thought besides Pisces , I have more similarities with even a Libra (My 4th dominant) or oddly even Sagittarius before Aquarius. But I guess Im more Aquarius than I think.

Personally I love my Gemini Moon, shines a rays of humour on my chart with too much darkness(Pluto) and seriousness(Saturn) altho you could say both bring their own sense of humour, especially the dry wit of saturn or the grave yard jokes of Pluto.

I do feel things intensely IF I don't verbalize my feelings in my head.Us Air Moons have this tendency to verbalize our feelings or rationalize them away (I have noticed this especially in Libra Mokns and Gem Moons and even 3H Moon, my bro). The trick is to let the words pass(dont supress) in our mind while still being in touch with the feeling as they pass, and slowly the words will have passed but the feeling will still remain and ta-da you have turned into a water moon!!!

That's what I don't resonate with; never have resonated with the rationalizing your feelings bit and never will. I'm very emotional and there's a never ending world of emotion brewing inside of me 24/7.

For me Aqua/Scorpio makes sense. I have an Aqua stellium and my dominant planet is in Scorpio.

Though my Gemini Moon is intercepted in the 8th, opposite Pluto by 0°01'. I just can't come to terms with the expression being Gemini; it's just never been like that.

Moon inconjunct Mars...ugh! Awful. It makes one super touchy and angry. I can fly off the handle real quick. Not sure if I will ever grow to like this placement.

Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I WISH my 11th house Leo Venus was aspected better (or I had any Venus-ruled placements) so I could feel what it's like to be "Venusian" lol.

My Venus is square Pluto (0.05), trine Saturn (0.10) and inconjunct Neptune (0.00). I constantly struggle to define what I like (in all areas of my life) and to exude that social grace.

My 10th house Gemini Sun suffers too, with only loose aspects to the outer planets. It does conjunct my MC though, and I can see my ego being tied to my work.

Hmm, I too have Moon in 8H inconjunct Pluto, Neptune and Uranus, trine Mars .
I don't feel emotions 24/7 tho, it's like they appear and then they are gone, rest of the time it's just thoughts or a blank. I do love high intensity tho in anything and everything, and I get obsessed very quickly. The only emotion that pops up is anger most of the time, sometimes sentimentality. But I do tend to feel the emotions of people around me.
