Topic: Disappointed to Transiting Jupiter :p

I started a similar topic on Jupiter's "good fortune" qualities maybe being overated or misinterpreted, so I can sympathise. For the record, the year Jupiter toured my 7th house I was single had the worst drought of dates I'd ever known!My experience is that Jupiter tends to expand and magnify more than bring luck. So if you're in a toxic relationship and he goes into your 7th house those traits are going to become unignorable. It doesn't automatically equate to good times all round. I think this is probably the reason why more divorces happen under Jupiter touring the 7th house. Some have suggested its because people get opportunities to have affairs - however *they* aren't going to be the people filing for divorce - it'll be the betrayed spouse. I wonder if its more to do with Jupiter magnifying whatever issues already exist. But yes, although somewhat in the rarity, I'm a big fan of Saturn. He'll work you hard but dammit you'll get something concrete at the end of it. Then again, I am a Cappy...  IP: Logged |

A years ago(mid October 17) my 3rd Jupiter Return started. It was a new phase but not that what I expected. Got new job in July 17. And then adding of enemies in my list started. Power struggle, jealousy, back stabbiing etc at work life. No mental peace, lack of money etc. My Jupiter is not in good dignity. Jupiter 1° in Scorpio 6th House.Actually my daily routine just changed in 3rd Return. ------------------

Not saying your doing this by any means, but something I learned about astrology is that you can have really good and really bad points in your life at any moment, anytime. Relating and relying too much on your astrological placements and transits can hurt you often discrediting your own critical thinking abilities. Using it as a forecast is the safest way to use the knowledge. Continue to live your life like before you knew anything about it. My Jupiter Return is approaching next year and so far I've had a really good time after a long time of living in confusion. Jupiter enlarges what it touches. IP: Logged |

Thank you all for sharing your experiences etc  I think I was so upset because I hoped to get big grant for working (with my artistic practice.) When it was announced I had really promising Jupiter transits close to exact aspect.) But instead of that happening I feel my life is going in wrong direction. I got job (October) that is only few days a week and salary is good. But preparations takes so much time I don’t have any time for my own work of finishing my thesis.I hoped too much and this is a reminder (again) that it is very hard to predict anything from transits. After integrating everything said in this thread, these are my conclusion (mercury in virgo in the 9th in action)...Jupiter Transits help us: 1. Take a look at the bigger picture of what we want so we can create goals that support that bigger picture. 2. Remove things from our life that do not support the bigger picture of what we want or our purpose here. 3. Blows up what it touches so we can really take notice of that planet and unmet needs related to that planet leading to important changes that are in line with the theme planet Jupiter is aspecting. 4. If you are already in the right track to fulfilling personal goals that are in line with your purpose here Jupiter might just bring opportunities into your life to solidify those goals and bring you closer to them, in this instance Jupiter may help get things moving to support your goals and life purpose, help you get things in motion by instilling that inner confidence and faith necessary to take some needed chances. So Jupiter is not a magic wand, it depends on were you are in your journey and what planets is it aspecting when the transit takes place... IP: Logged |

What happens if one won’t take new opportunity that is offered during beneficial transit? Like taking new job from new city? Because I was in fact offered job with okay hours and good salary but I should move to another city. I don’t know if I want to. I moved away from there to do my masters (not finished yet) and wanting to build my live here. But all job opportunities seems to come from there. It would be somewhat interesting job and would solve my poor financial situation. But it would mainly be all same that I have done before. And I know I wouldn’t be able to bo my own artistic work on the side because it is so tiresome. This is my main problem with transits..I don’t know if they are opportunities or tests. IP: Logged |
