My ex is not a big guy though, he is like Pewdiepie in terms of body frame, he was lean, my type. Our sex life was great, we had a lot of sex and I wanted to have a baby with him really bad, his mars is OOB and then add he is scorpio with venus conjunct pluto so he had a high sex drive like me and we had sex regularly, I have never met up with him and not had sex with him, we are irresistible to each other. My husband is a libra and like I said he is the only guy who never asked me to gain weight ever, he was happy with me then and is happy with me now, he always thinks I look cute even when I don't think I do or without make up, I don't have to try very hard with him, in his eyes I always look pretty. He has moon in cancer too and pluto rules his DC and is in libra. Think Carmen Electra or Salma Hayek, that is his type, he always brings up Salma Hayek who is a virgo like me btw and he has juno in virgo. His ideal I think is thin but curvy with big fake boobs. He also likes Taylor Swift and Scarlett Johansson both Sagittarius, my strongest sign, he has sag in the 8th, virgo in the 5th LOL so there you have it, I think he just likes virgo girls and sag girls for obvious reasons . I do think guys with Taurus or Cancer placements like curves and sometimes bigger girls yes and guys with Cancer placements like big boobs often.
Cancer moon here. Chest man(gay). Guilty! Guilty! Guilty! Lock me up and surround me with bulky chesty guys for life and I will serve my sentence with a smile. I don't know why I am fixated with that region really. Spins my head ALL the time.

I am a Taurus Sun 29 degrees. If my mother waited 2 more hours to have birthed me, I would have been a Gemini Sun 0 degrees. Would have have made me be slim with all that fidgety energy, probably not. Body shapes are inherited. Fat cells/genes are not. My mother was slim with an hourly figure, big breasted and hippy, my father was obese, but did lose a lot of weight to just become bigger than average. I do love to eat. If I could choose one thing to change it would to be a size AU 8 and to eat whatever I wanted without gaining weight! I was an averaged sized kid. It was when I stopped being sexually abused at 8 years of age, that I started to over eat to stuff down my emotions. I tried to then at 12, to slash my thighs with a razor instead of over eat, but I just couldn't do it. Id rather have slash marks than the obvious signs of being fat. The I look at people like Nigella Lawson, who eats everything and all full fat or nothing on her cooking shows. And then just goes on a short diet and looses it all. Most overweight people are struggling with emotional issues, more so than just being a foodie. So when you see someone big, its not all about eating too much but can be other health issues and emotional issues. Mind you, I hold my fat well, and its distributed evenly, except my sacral chakra where this controls the genitals, emotions, guilt and is ruled by Jupiter/Mercury and Moon. So it makes sense to me that this area needs a lot of work on me and where I carry the most fat for protection. IP: Logged |

I want to say genetics ultimately plays the biggest role as it does with the ASC also. There are just as many slender/fit (albeit gorgeous) Taurus Suns, Moons, ASCs, etc. (think Robert Pattinson, David Beckham, Megan Fox, Cate Blanchett, Gigi Hadid...) as there are heavier ones. I do agree that perhaps having Taurus placements make one SENSITIVE to weight gain, whereas others may not care as much. My partner has a Taurus Moon, and his weight has been up and down like a roller coaster his whole life depending on what his activity level/diet is at the time. Overall he is naturally more slender like his mother, whereas his sister is much heavier like their father. The problem is...he obsesses about it, like he will eat a bowl of chips and lament about it for days, so he restricts himself for a while to lose a few pounds but then goes right back to the snacks and the cycle starts over again. He will fight an uphill battle his whole life though because genetically he is predisposed. IP: Logged |

Yes, you see it all the time. My partner is more slender like his mother and her brother but his sister is much heavier like their father and their aunts. It sounds terrible...but my best friend is the "prettier" one of her and her sister. They are so vastly different it's unreal...one blonde, the other brunette. One slim, the other heavy. It goes on... IP: Logged |

Obviously not all people with Taurus placements are overweight, but Taurus, Cancer and Sagittarius seem to be more prone to weight gain issues. IP: Logged |

I've read once that first house Venus tends to have a rather sluggish metabolism. Certainly holds true for me. (Also Taurus Sun.) However, my Gemini rising... I think no matter how much I weigh, I'll always have a 'tall and slender' appearance. There was this time in my life where I obsessed about these fad diets... The raw fruits and vegetable stuff... Oddly that time I was at my biggest - when I obsessed about it the most. (Pluto sixth house?) When I obsess about the type foods I eat, I tend to overeat. Now thankfully I've learnt to balance my tendencies out. I just eat when I'm hungry which I'd never be able to do 2-3 years ago. (Actually the thought of it then just felt like a boring life will follow.) And although I do eat junk food now which I'd never do 3 years ago, I'm slim now and don't feel that food is a pressure in my life. Honestly thinking back I never thought I'd ever be able to say what I'm saying now. It was a daily battle. Thankfully it's in my past gosh. I just look at people struggling with their weight and feel like telling them to just not worry about it and the weight loss will follow. Of course everyone is different. But it's the stress that comes along with it. It ruins a person's life. Literally. And stress as an entity in itself causes weight gain. The best thing one could do for themselves is to work on their emotional state. Talking from experience. For a lot of people that can be nearly impossible, depending where the stress comes from. But eliminating stress automatically has a physical effect on you. And if stress is the cause to your weight then no diet or exercise will help. Fact. IP: Logged |

It sounds really annoying coming from a "slim" individual. And my sister tells me this every time I say it. But I don't know how else to put it. For me weight loss/gain is a complete lifestyle overhaul or change where one has to change mentally permanently. I don't believe in these celebrity fad diets as they are always from the outside/in I.e they work more to change the external for aesthetic purposes so that they can fit into a bikini or wear a speedo etc. Its not meant to focus on the internal process. Nor do I think that one can "aim" to lose 120 pounds etc. Or some ballpark weight and manage to keep it off for life without making a complete lifestyle decision. The problem is that one inevitably starts obsessing each time they get on a scale. So the scale becomes the mood crasher/ elevator. That's not good either. In Vedic, they have remedies to "activate" a certain planet or "strengthen" its influence. And perhaps from this perspective, weight issues could be said to be affiliated with a very strong Venus/Moon? So here the individual may need to activate their Mars more or work on strengthening it. I think that that was what I meant. That with Taurus in the mix, there are usually weight issues. And that not all Taurus people are fat per we. But having a Taurus rich chart does make one more sensitive to weight gain. Add to that, it is usually THEY (Taurus) who highlight and complain about the amount of weight they are gaining etc. I am not criticising or body shaming anyone here and perhaps the title is misleading and suggests otherwise? My apologies if it comes off like that. Coz I think ya'll are just gorgeous. My mom has Moon in Taurus. But she has Pluto in Virgo(which I think is Pluto's exaltation IMO) square Sun and conjunct her North node and trine her Moon. My Mom is very much a 'health nut'. Though she is not focused on aesthetics really as much as she is focused on healthy living and keeping her sugar levels stable(she is also diabetic). So I guess the square of Pluto to Sun and North node in Virgo has a big impact. Because she really dislikes rich foods. And didn't like sweet thing- even before she was diagnosed with diabetes. Her Moon in Taurus shows itself up in other ways. And not through weight issues in her case. IP: Logged |

In my sister's case, stress is definitely what chases the weight gain. As she finds it difficult to just relax. And I think you do have a point with regards to the feelings being connected with weight. As a moon in Cancer, I eat less when nervous and more when relaxed. There was a time when I was highly stressed at work and I would forget to eat. Lost a lot of weight to a point of being skeletal (I was also working out rigorously). But when I quit the job, it was like my body instantaneously let go. And I literally felt weight gain days afterwards. Its so amazing to think that feelings and emotions are so powerful. Wow!!

I think its a miracle that you haven't grown cynical-despite what you have gone through. I lived with someone who was sexually abused as a kid and resents himself for it. I think he blamed his sexual orientation(gay) on the incident and has shamed himself ever since. His weight is directly connected to that IMO. As I feel like its a blanket to cover up the pain inside that he has difficulty facing. At worst, he is violent. And at best very judgemental- pushing many people away. Then being very promiscuous. Its all a heady and heavy mix of a lot of stuff. It seems men deal much worse with abuse than women? I don't know. It surely looks that way in many cases as emotional awareness is seldom there with men. IP: Logged |

I noticed that as well with most Taureans in my life. The women are usually thick. And even when they gain more weight it suits them and it looks sensual and sexy. Taurus men in my experience very often tend to have chubby cheeks when they gaina little weight. My boyfriend is a Taurus sun with his moon in his second house and he really manages to gain weight while on a skiing trip (where he skies for hours which burn loads of calories) but he eats so much there that he gains weight instead of losing. He usually loves to indulge and he just adores food and chilling. He is a Capricorn rising and has a rather slimmer upper body but his legs (and butt! yumm) are quite thick and strong

Yes! . Because of what I posted above now Venus I think, may play a bug role on all this? And the rising? Ok well of course petite people with small bone structure can get fat too! So maybe the pattern I see in my chart plays a role? Saturn-moon. and n.node conj jupiter (venus?) virgo rising (health freak). Venus in a male or fire sign? Venus ruler mars in gemini? Dunno its many factors to weigh in haha! Also I’m so happy to write to you again! (I have some reply-posts to you, that I have prosponed due to thesis!)
