I'm curious to know what are the most difficult transits a person can go thru. I think the worst but most transforming had to be when Pluto conjunct my Sun a few years back with Uranus squaring it. But I am about to experience my Saturn return in the 7th house and I'm worried about my relationship

For me, it was Saturn conjunct my Sun, Pluto, Venus and Mercury/Lilith. They were all in Scorpio.

It was a tough time, where it felt like almost all aspects of myself were being attacked or accused of bad behaviour, I felt I was under everyone else's rule and it was a very heavy time to go through.

Granted at the time I was in my late teens/early twenties, and felt very 'passed around' from authority to authority, forcibly learning the good, the bad and the ugly.

I deeeeeeeeefiniltely learned a lot, though. About myself and others.

Wow that sounds intense! But the beauty of it is that you learned about yourself and others which is Saturns job to teach. I'm already going thru Saturn conjunct Sun which is in my 7th house so I'm scared but I'm pretty sure whatever happens is for my own good

I do usually find that post-Saturn conjunctions by transit, that area feels much better! Almost like it went through a growth spurt. I don't usually see Saturn transits as too difficult, just ... like growing pains.

It was likely that my Saturn/Sun conjunction was difficult because I have Pluto natally in the mix.

Right now Saturn is creeping up on my Natal Saturn (where transit Pluto has been parked for a while now), and has recently passed over both my MC and my Uranus, and is now just about passing over my Neptune.

The Uranus/MC transit was bothersome in that I felt very ... uncreative for a while. Like it was honing and specifying what my 'expression' was going to be about. But in reality, it was showing me a lot of very sudden events that I needed to hone my 'reaction' to a lot of things in life. (Big arguments, explosive emotions, death, etc). It was a 'time to ACT like a grown up' whether I wanted to or not.

Saturn can be tough, but it's definitely all about exams of aspects of your personality.

PLUTO is probably the harder one to go through event-speaking, as it can be very destructive to things you were very possessive about (jobs, relationships, people, etc).

Both are quite emotional, but for different reasons. We don't always WANT to act the adult in situations that emotionally triggered us before (Saturn).

But we also don't like having to face consequences or deeply painful emotions (as EVERYONE does) in life (Pluto).

I believe Pluto transiting the 1st house is one of them. Pluto was transiting my 1st house until late 2006, which means the first 14 years of my life. My childhood was not normal and I grew up knowing about the darker side of life before I even turned 18. Nearly every Pluto-related theme played out.

I feel you. Saturn transits are terrible!!

I had Saturn on my triple conjunction in 2017. Terrible!! You hear me? Just awful!

I don't know what we are supposed to "learn"? The "lesson" is lost on me. Because no matter how hard I tried, the pressure from upstairs at work wouldn't let up. I eventually just gave in and quit the job.

Perhaps Saturn is meant to have us stripped of our sense of "control"? Good side however was that I made a friend: A female Libra Sun/Libra Moon whom I still talk to very often

Now Saturn is nearing my natal T-square. I just know that this will co-incide with me getting placed at work. I can feel it.

Yes I heard that's one of the most difficult Pluto transit one can go thru!

Well I guess I'll be getting examined when it comes to my relationships because both my Pluto and Saturn is transiting my 7th house so I'm pretty sure I will lose some people and gain some thru these next few years

Sounds about right! I find a good tip when Saturn is transiting a house, is really sit down and examine what you WANT, what you NEED and what you DON'T NEED in the topics of that house. Find your values there, study them and be ruthlessly honest in what is already there. Even if it seems like the perfect stability job, if you're not entirely happy, or feel like it isn't on your path, Saturn might just crumble the foundation there for a re-do.

Not to say it will destroy it all, it isn't Pluto, but it will demand a restructuring of boundaries, how communication is handled, and since it's the 7th house, the SHADOW. Look not just at your relationships, but how you are in them as well. What about your friends do you love? What do you hate? See if any of those things have to do with aspects of yourself.

Saturn can feel brutal, but all he really wants is some classtime effort in learning again. If we put the work it, we often find a reward of deep satisfaction by the end of it.

I don't think it is possible to pinpoint 'the' most difficult transit for everyone. People experience them in different ways because they handle them in their own ways.

Typically, however, the combinations of hard Saturn transits simultaneous with hard Pluto transits are pretty difficult. Hard Uranus or Neptune transits simultaneous with hard Pluto transits can also be quite trying.

As to Saturn transiting the 7th house, it may be stating the obvious, but it does no good whatsoever to look ahead with apprehension (fear). If there is something in the foundation of your relationship that is shaky then repair it now. Otherwise, it could simply be insecurity speaking its fear language to you. Recently I looked ahead a bit with some worry knowing that the Saturn transit conjunct my natal Moon I'm now in was upcoming. Now that it is here, it is not nearly as dark and gloomy and I've spent most of this transit positive and enjoying myself.

If your chart's houses are set accurately, then the timing of Saturn moving through the 7th is about solidifying agreements, identifying longer term values issues or incompatibility, commitment. It will help you get down to the real business of making a relationship last if you are willing to let go of any Disneyfication or romantic idealisms and favor strength of partnership over fantasy. There will be other times in which the romanticism can come back into focus and get dressed up again.
