I know there have been many threads on Cancer Mars and also a few on their procreation fascination.... but I really need to ask something pertaining to my situation... so pls humour me.

I've been seeing this guy with Cancer Mars who always talks about his desire to make me pregnant. Initially I attributed it to frivolous sexual talk but the number of times he has mentioned it got me concerned because we're in no position to have a child now, and I told him so. I take a serious approach in procreation. Later on he starting wearing a condom because his desire to impregnate me got stronger but he knows he can't do that.

Sometimes he looks like he's really struggling and I cannot understand why he feels so strongly about this. He even told me he'll name the child, love him/her, and won't be one of those ******** to ask: "Are you sure it's mine?". Deep down I also know he's not the type who will get a gal pregnant and then ditch her... but there's also no way we can raise the child together.

So long story short, I just wanna know... does men with Mars in Cancer desire to make every gal they sleep with pregnant? Or only with someone special? Because the last thing I want is he's just seeing me as a child-bearing "machine" to fulfil his procreation fascination famous with this placement.

Lol. I was about to roll eyes and comment "Not another Mars in Cancer thread. Are they really so sexy all of a sunday?"

But upon reading your story,I was intrigued.

Perhaps another natal Mars in Cancer male will respond. But my experience with the one I dated is this; he was most "alive" and most "manly" when it came to family.

If the family was under threat or needed him. They would not ask twice. He would die for them etc. And i mean that literally.

So my thinking is that the primal instincts(Mars) in a man with this position may "kick in" when they are procreating, creating a baby nest or having something to take of/ baby.

It may be that it gives them purpose for being, structure and an available avenue to pour out all their protective instincts on.

The other thing is that there is something sentimental for people about having a baby with someone i.e it "binds" (or bonds) them together for longer(ideally). And the fact that a living being came out of the love of two people, has a romantic ring to it(a symbolic thing).

Venus in Cancer guys are also into "babying" one i.e my precious, baby doll, sugar plum, pumpkin etc. Also like talking about making a baby.

I’m Cancer Rising, Venus and Mars and I love the sound of your man, haha. I’d love to have a boyfriend to understands my obsession with procreation, babies & family😊

By the way, although he has a Cancer Mars, don't be so sure that he's not the type to impregnate a girl and then leave. The majority of the current single mothers out there thought the same thing. Therefore, you have no certainty of this being 100% factual until you accidentally get pregnant and tell him, especially if it's through a phone call conversation. You'd have your answer if he were to hang up after you say the word "pregnant".

I think this explains Chris Brown's song "Little More (Royalty)" about his daughter. He has a Cancer Mars and if you scroll through his Instagram timeline, you can tell that he takes his role as a father very seriously. He's been in love with Royalty since she was born, I love it.

Cancer mars guy here. I'd say they would do it if they feel comfortable with the right person which implies the "special person".

But they can be emotionally manipulative about it ie. force you to carry his children so that you'd be forced not to leave him.

Also, its probably more of my Mercury aspects then my Mars in Cancer.

But I reason that the person you intend to have children with will be half you half your partner.

The worse thing you'd want is a faster, younger and improved version of you with the nasty traits of your partner..that can beat you at everything.

So you would want to have children with the "special person".

Oh, when I say I don't think he's the type to ditch is based on what I know him as a person rather than by his sign.

But you're right, I never know... people are good are breaking promises.

My father has a Cancer Mars with Pisces Sun Capricorn Moon Aquarius rising and Aries Venus

He's LEAST interested to say the least.

He got excited but everything went away when I was born.

Males don't understand the stress and responsibilities of a child.

Be careful

I've considered this before - whether his intention is to "bind" me to him... My friend says that perhaps he wants me to never forget him (if we part). I guess in a way that feels "special" too albeit in a sick manipulative manner? lol

"The worse thing you'd want is a faster, younger and improved version of you with the nasty traits of your partner..that can beat you at everything."

This cracks me up! 😆 I think a faster, younger version of myself with all my nasty traits are bad enough. My mom always says I'll get my karma one of these days.

I'm not a pro at astrology but I'd think it must be something in your synastry rather than (just) in his natal...
Do you have moon-Mars maybe?

And do you want kids yourself ?

There's a saying in Chinese... that daughters are their daddy's past life lovers. LOL

I have this with the Mars in Cancer guy I’m the Moon but I didn’t think it was really relevant. I’m on birth control because I can’t risk it. The fact that he keeps saying I don’t need birth control. And that he’ll use a condom makes me nervous. It seems like the only reason he said he would use a condom is because I mentioned that I’m getting on birth control.

I think he would be a good father though In regards to interacting with them.

What is his Sun sign? He may have bad aspects to his Mars. I’ve read that men with this can be violent. The one I know seems to be close to his mom and sister. He cares a lot about his family.

he did have bad aspects to his mars, but this thread is just about mars sign in general not breaking it down to aspects isnt it?

no cancer mars person is going to be exactly like the next one unless they have the same chart

i know more women with their mars there he's just the one male example i have

only one of them is family focused (on children not spouse) and that's my mother (wouldnt call her a good parent though)

edit: that mars in cancer guy i mentioned wanted a family but wasnt actually capable of being a parent he just liked the show of it and the status of it in a sense

You said the one you know is violent and cheated. That doesn’t mean all of them are that way. That’s why I mentioned that he probably has hard aspects to his Mars which you just confirmed.

Yeah we all know about Chris Brown history of being abusive. But there may have been something in synastry that caused this.

i never said all of them were like that

though if you want to include the women ive known my mother was an abusive parent and the friend i can think of off the top of my head is definitely also that way (verbally idk about physically)

edit: also that mars in cancer guy saw getting a woman pregnant as a way to keep her tied to him, like ownership through having a kid

obviously not everyone with a cancer mars is going to be the same

i have mars in capricorn i don't care about money or status, i find that sort of thing stupid to be concerned about because i dont believe in society's ideas of what is/isn't worthwhile

so just like im not a stereotype i assume other people aren't all the same either

You have every right to worry. Guys tend to idealize the whole "being a Dad" thing. All because they do the bare minimum on an everyday basis.

Perhaps the reason that some women feel more attracted to ambitious men , is because they see that the men demonstrate "follow through"?

Has he shown consistency in other things? Long term projects he completes? Goals that he reaches or plans that he realises?

I know a girl who felt she found her "Baby Daddy" when she met a guy who moved into a home that he had saved up for for many years .

But she has Venus in Cap So she likes practicality. And the guy married her a year after dating.

What has been consistent is if he promises me something, he'll definitely do it.

But ya, I've been wondering if he realises what it entails if he gets me pregnant. It will not be easy for him to skip town (lol).

Why would anybody want to do this? Get a woman pregnant just to keep her?

Yup, why not? It's like keeping a "tie" forever.

Traditionally, it is the woman who uses pregnancy to keep a man, but some men do that too. A Cancer Mars guy I know got his gal pregnant. He wanted to marry her but she aborted the baby and broke up with him.

he might not be being rational or he might be over romanticizing the idea

not saying that's the case, just saying the cancer mars guy i knew did think like that about women
