i know the reputation geminis have. speaking as one, and with much experience with them, i have to say that we are not scared of commitment, but rather of being trapped in some lifeless, boring situation. we need stimulation and we need to feel free, free to change, free to speak our minds ...and change we do. though this doesn't mean we can't commit. i, personally, sought commitment and so did my gemini partner ...but we needed the commitment to allow for the changes that take place in us regularly ...we need understanding... someone to understand and be okay with the fact that our minds change frequently. if you can offer that to a gemini, and exciting good times, they will stick like glue. not that you should do that if it doesn't come naturally to you. what is your trinity? and any major aspects? What is trinity? Do you mean major aspects in my own chart? I’m Uranian and I’m ok with change I get bored easily with routine. I know Gemini’s like their space he and I have already talked about what we like relationship wise. We seem to be similar in that aspect. I don’t know about the stimulation part but I’m not stupid lol. He doesn’t really talk about anything intellectual. I’m the one who brings up things in that regard. He ever says anything meaningful which is odd. I don’t I feel like I could get bored with him. He has a lot of Cancer in his chart he’s soft spoken maybe that’s why lol.IP: Logged |

trinity being your sun, moon and asc ...and yes, major aspects in your chart. if you want to share. i can't speak for this gemini at all. and without knowing anything other that his sun, it's really hard to say what kind of person he is. i can't tell if you are not really that interested and therefore saying it's because geminis can't/don't want to commit, or if you really actually are interested and are scared of the lack of commitment. if it's the latter, then i would try to not let fear get in the way of exploring potential. uranian qualities are often very much appreciated by geminis! These two girls in my class are telling me how Gemini men are liars, cheaters and manipulators. One said the Gemini she dated cheated the entire relationship. That’s really bad I’ll never trust them no way lol.IP: Logged |

I wasn't to sure if I should comment back as you probably won't be to happy with my response. The Geminis that would want a commitment wouldn't want to commit to someone if they get a bad vibe, they have a good "BS detector" scorpios too. Example I was at a bar and this Leo I never met before gives me a hug and starts talking nasty and wants to sit beside me...in 10min..I'm thinking get away from me!!. Am I going to start Zodiac shamming leo's for that??.. of course not. Everyone had a different combo of placements which make them a bit different then the other. Aquarius is the same as Gemini, they know what there looking for and if what there looking for is unavailable, big deal...they will stay single and uncommitted until what there looking for appears. Sure there are some Gems that cheat..but thats just the nature of men just like there are women that cheat. I mean my Taurus cousin had 4 children with 4 different men, should I zodiac shame her and call all Taurus women "hoes"?. I was close to calling Maury Povich, lol. No offense but the girls you described sound as if they meet the first guy they encountered... This is non astrology related, but the older guy/ younger girl or younger guy/older girl thing seams so much better these days, lol. A 20+ yrs old guy and 20+ girl hookup is just asking for problems. Just because your cousin had four kids by four different men doesn’t mean anything. That doesn’t make her a hoe maybe at one point she actually loved all of them. And It’s not bs I do like him I just don’t know how I feel about commitment. But If he actually wanted to be in a relationship I would be. I wouldn’t mess around with other guys. It’s ok though whatever is meant to be will happen.

I'll start by saying this. If Gemini cheats and lies, I must be a unicorn. I don't cheat, and err on the side of being too truthful.Honestly, I think a Gemini is more likely to move on than cheat (though no sign is immune). They are not above the casual relationship, but can commit as well as anyone else when they find the right match, and they've thought it through. As for lying, I think Gemini is more keenly aware of the power of communication and gives more nuanced answers, or answers with more qualifications than some other signs. Thus, others who see things more in a black or white kind of way see this as being untruthful, and Gemini as being, well... two faced. This also comes into play with the commitment issue. Gemini isn't likely to "bring the U-Haul to the second date", and when matched up with someone who does, thinks that they haven't thought this through. Gemini needs to think about how they feel before jumping into commitment. At least I do. They also occasionally need to talk through it. Sometimes they need to say it to see if it sounds right. Now, this is all general sun sign stuff. How your Gemini will act will depend on his natal and your Synastry. For instance, do you have Saturn contacts with him? Does he have some fixed personal planets? Beyond the chart, my standard advice for dealing with a Gemini is talk with him. Talking and time will tell you what you need to know. I hope some of this helps. Good luck!

@Gemini Blues no fixed personal placements he has Moon in Sagitarius, Venus in Gemini, Mercury and Mars in Cancer. In synastry his Saturn sextiles my Moon it’s also parallel, and trines my Mercury and makes an opposition to my Mars. My Saturn makes an opposition to his Sun. I don’t think that counts though because he has that in his own chart. And there is a wide conjunction from my Saturn to his Moon. It’s 8 degrees but in the same sign.I get what you mean I messed the dating thing up because I didn’t go out with him when he asked me. But asked to have sex instead I know that’s crazy. I just figured that’s all he wanted so. IP: Logged |

It’s just the uncertainty because of what some people have said about our synastry. One person told me he would end up leaving. Because he has Venus in Gemini and due to the fact that we have harsh Mercury aspects.IP: Logged |

if you treat people like they're just hook ups and meet them on hook up sites then regardless of what their sign is theyre unlikely to be serious about you just saying relationships that last generally happen more organically IP: Logged |

I didn’t meet him on a hookup site and it’s not just about sex even though it probably seems that way. I actually want to be friends with him. We both like some of the same things that’s why I want to be friends. We both like art, museums, the same kind of entertainment and food etc.IP: Logged |

then maybe you should've considered starting there instead of opening with sex just a thought the way you behave affects the way you're treated, and if you read his chart went straight to sex instead of things like art and museums etc (which someone with gemini placements is likely to find stimulating btw) then it's really your own fault if it goes nowhere

I’ve never really met a Gemini that wasn’t more than “hookups”! The ones that truly wanted to settle, and did so, have been steadfast and true for decades! I find them more stable than Sag, Libra, Pisces, Cancer and to a certain extent; Scorpio. IP: Logged |

Well I know that but there is nothing I can do about it now. I can only tell him that I want to be friends and not just hooking up for sex.

I kind of get confused. You only want a hook up/fwb but also want his commitment? You want to be friends but afraid/refuse to meet him? I know you have venus in Pisces, I do too. It seems like you give mix signal. I think you really like this Gemini guy and want to be with him, but are you insecure? IP: Logged |

I have something with someone else this Virgo guy. He lives in another state. We aren’t in a relationship but sometimes I go to see him. We’ve been doing this for four years. We have a lot 4th house overlays and have become close I help him financially. And he helps me with school and he gives me things. But yes I do like the Gemini just don’t know how I could ever have anything serious with him being involved with the Virgo. But I’ve been seeing the Gemini where he works for awhile. I thought maybe he liked me but I wasn’t sure. I asked him why he didn’t tell me he liked me. He said because he thought I was young. Had I known maybe I wouldn’t have got involved with the Virgo.

So it sounds personal. Not that all gemenis are like. Just all gemenis all like that to them IP: Logged |

Not a fan of Gemini Sun men but in my opinion Gemini Sun men are nowhere near as bad as Aquarius Sun men. Emotionally unavailable, cold, cheaters, players, liars, unable to form monogamous healthy relationships. Same for Aquarius Mars. 😬 Just my 2 cents...IP: Logged |

So we met up at a hotel but we didn’t have sex right away. We went to the movies, to dinner and to the arcade then we went back to the hotel and had sex. I enjoyed going out with him though it was nice. But when we were taking at dinner I told him that I like to travel. I said I go to a certain place once a year. And then he kept asking me why I told him to see a friend. Then he asked me what do I do with the person. I never answered and he just kept asking over and over. I felt that was kind of odd. That’s none of his business what I do with other people. But other than that it was nice.IP: Logged |
