Ironically in my case, the one I dated I was with the longest. Outlasting Taurus,Libra and Sag in my pool of relationships

We had North Node connections though and his Saturn,Jupiter,Pluto was on my Dsc in Libra. And his Venus on my Asc.

The air sign I find the riskiest to indulge my heart in(not to Zodiac "shame" ) is not Gemini in my own personal experience. But Aquarius and Pisces Sun. My heart struggled to recover after both experiences!!

Aquarius really? That’s one of my favorite signs I get along well with the men and women. Aquarius is a chill laid back sign detached yes but they are cool. Maybe I feel that way because it’s my Moon sign. I can understand why you feel that way about Pisces though. I don’t really care for the men. I feel this way about Gemini because I know they have two personalities. Both of my parents are Gemini’s and I see how my dad is. I see the things he does/did to my mother. So I just don’t trust them at all. I will never get romantically involved with one. Sex ok but that’s it nothing more.

Do you think that the experiences with your Dad kind of influenced your outlook?

I read that with women,their Father often denotes their view of "men". And for guys, its their mothers.

I know with my own sister for instance that she swears high and low that she will NEVER be with a guy that reminds her of Dad. Because she saw how he treats Mom.

Ofcourse i am not discounting your feelings about Gemini. They describe your experiences and none can argue with that.

I just found the statement you made and the correlation with what I had earlier read interesting.

Granted my ex was great, but I haven't dated a Gemini Sun since. My issue with my him was his tendency to "play" with the truth. Or tell me what he thinks I wanted to hear.

He was EXCELLENT at buttering me up and ensuring that i remained positively predisposed to his quirks. But I caught on quick. And when called out, he would protest his innocence.

We also had Venus(his) widely opposing my Mars.

Thats why its important to get things clearly defined with a Gemini...otherwise they can find ways to twist the definition to get out of the situation.

I can see why ChildOfVenus is frustrated and confused because nothing is ever really clearly defined with a gem unless you really have an extremely close rapport with them.

My Aquarius friend which incidentally I celebrated her birthday today..I pretty much tell her everything as it is its "black and White", "clear as mud no abstractions". I whould never be able to run from a lie from her.

Plus she's very intuitive on me..so I just drop dead..and come clean...no point in saying anything thats not true. I think if the Aquarius is a bit older then the Gemini they can "slay the Gemini" reference to the "slay the dragon".

I get it. If they can draw circles around you its boring. In typical Gemini fashion. He loved mental tennis and I told him that as much as I love things that are mental. He must steer clear of those games if they threaten the very bread that his butter is spread on.

He promised me never. I didn't think he was serious. And perhaps that's the key with all air signs? Just dont take them seriously. No matter how many times they profess "love" etc It remains more a wonderful idea in their head.

The minute i detached and stopped looking at the relationship less from a "marriage of equals" to "little brother/affectionate sibling" etc. It was more stable.

I think Gemini wants to be the "little" brother or sister. To retain that youthful role within the relationship whilst you take care of the serious stuff.

I laughed at Linda-Goodmans description of the Sag-Gem pairing because it was how our relationship was. It was very "crowded". Like when we would converse, he would show his twins(even triplets when I actually think back). And i would swing between clown and philosopher.Lol.

Wow say what?! How could Saturn not have a big effect on ones sun?! Its one of the strongest influencubg planets ever. Its like saying ”how can pluto opposite sun be strong?”

What sign saturn is in is not an issue at all

Him having sun opposite saturn, he could aswell have a capricorn sun. (but no matter the sign a sun-saturn is always stronger then a cap sun only).

Having a planet aspecting an other is like sticking your finger directly in an electrical socket/contact so to speak. Saying its potent is an understatement. Especially if its the heavy planets aspecting the oersonal planets. But well, english is not my native language so I hope somone better will jump in and explain :blush:
