I've been thinking about my chart, and realized that my Gemini Moon's ruler, Mercury, is in the 3rd house in Aquarius exactly conjunct Neptune.

How would this affect my Moon vs. Being in direct aspect to Neptune?

Mercury conjunct Neptune is Aquarius is a great aspect. It means you are creative, gifted, and intelligent.

Cancer is on the 9th house with Scor Asc(barring place of birth).

So Moon rules the 9th house or any house with Cancer on the cusp and aspects to Moon affect the 9th house or that respective house the Moon is in.

Gemini is on the cusp of the 8th house cusp. So Mercury rules the 8th housr cusp or anywhere where Gemini is on the house cusp.

So if Neptune is in aspect to Mercury, it affects the house where Mercury is found(in your case the 3rd house). But it also affects the cusp house that Mercury rules i.e Virgo 3rd/Gemini 8th

Mercury in 3rd influenced by Neptune suggests one with a strong imagination and a tendency towards creative reading or attraction to creative writing or reading(this especially when the ruler of the 5th is in the 3rd).

In the same breath, the Neptune fog affects the 8th house of sudden changes/upheavals.

Look also to the ruler of the 12th house being where there is confusion.

Technically, in my chart with placidus Taurus rules my 8th with Gemini Intercepted. The only house Mercury rules is my 11th house (Virgo on 11th).

Oh ok,now i recall . I also recall you saying that ypu couldn't identify with Moon in Gemini really.

I think of intercepted energy as "hidden treasures". But typically speaking because of their "hidden" nature, they (like the 12th house) are not fully acknowledged.

So perhaps that is the reason why seeing your Moon in Gemini is so damne tricky?

I would look at the ruler of the 8th(Venus) and aspects to it for insight to the 8th.

When 11th house is affected by Neptune, close friends are hard to come by or one finds themselves feeling lonely even in a crowd of people.

Sometimes strangers feel friendlier to talk to when someone has 11th house Neptune. So online interaction is likely as Neptune likes anonymity.

Another possibility with Neptune in 11th is seeking spiritual camaraderie or group support. So a church choir, youth camp goer or even water sport(Neptune) participant. I.e rowing, swimming team or diving team etc

Yeah I would say that is also why I don't resonate with my Gemini Moon. I never relate to most descriptions of Gemini Moon that I read online and honestly relate to Scorpio Moon the most.

Your intepretation of the 11th house being influenced by Neptune does sound accurate though. I many of times don't feel less alone around groups of people and majority of the time it is like we aren't connecting on a deeper level like I would rather have. I don't participate in group activities though I mostly just prefer one-on-one communication with someone whom I can go deep with, rather than feeling supported by a group.
