Ok, having your Moon in one of these notoriously 'colder signs' does make it more tricky because it almost indicates the person's core is 'unemotional and cold' which is basically impossible since we are all predominantly emotional creatures. So not sure if we should be looking for other associations with these signs when we want to know their true emotional nature if the Moon is in there..

But what about your IC sign or first house? Perhaps it's not just about looking at one aspect or planet but more about where most of the energy is bundled in the draco chart for ex..? Or perhaps there is no specific, universal indicator for the soul in a chart but someone's soul could be manifested in different area's of the chart, but most likely mainly through certain planets/ area's and I guess the Moon would be for many that sign they mostly identify as their soul but not for everyone..

Just like when looking for 'death' indicators, we don't only look for Pluto, but also 8th house and Scorpio and even Saturn and Uranus could have something to do with it..

But anyhows, would be curious if you recognize more in your Draco chart?

My Draco chart is the opposite of my original chart. So my moon is in Leo there, my sun in Virgo. I don’t relate to it.
I have my moon in the 12th house and I feel like I really relate to the 12th house moon description more than the sign it’s in. But I don’t know why because I don’t think the houses are supposed to affect who you are right? My first house is in Aquarius as well, Pisces is intercepted there. I relate to Pisces more but I don’t know if it’s because it’s because my Pisces placements are in the 1st house. I am very lost lol I don’t understand why I cant completely relate to my moon sign. Despite being a Aquarius moon I am emotional.
I have a stellium in the 12th house as well. Moon, Jupiter, Uranus, and Neptune.
My moon conjuncts Uranus and Jupiter. Because it also conjuncts Uranus youd think it would make my moon double Aquarius!
But I guess my need to be unique is quite evident with my moon and this placement and I honestly dislike that about myself...
I wish I knew my moms date of birth because she hardly seems like a Virgo moon. The only think Virgo about her is she is very very judgmental of people. And Im not even sure if that’s a Virgo thing. But she has explosive emotions. She seems more Scorpio to me which isn’t too surprising considering her mars and venus are in Scorpio, so as of right now without a birthtime she is Scorpio dominant according to Pullen chart.

No, the house placement does matter! I can see why you don't relate much to the description of Moon in Aquarius (as 'unemotional'), because it being in the 12th house, will definitely make you more emotional and sensitive. The 12th house natural ruler is Neptune which is very watery and sensitive, so it definitely colors your aquarius moon. Perhaps the moon being in aquarius here translates into you identifying with the underdog and feeling sympathy for those..

The reason why I also asked your IC or first house is because the first house is also about the core, temperament and personality of who you are.
in Jyotish astrology, is also know as 'connection'. It shows the connection of the incarnating soul to the mortal world.

A natal chart is a tad more than the soul (self) IMO.

Our human spirit (some call it higher self) is not part of the soul nor is our physical body.

I am pretty sure our human spirit and physical body can generally be modeled in a chart.

So a chart could represent more than a soul.

I honestly would have expected more squares because her emotions are highly unstable. I think she has some form of bipolar disorder but I can’t say for sure because Im not a psychiatrist.

That’s interesting I didn’t know that! Yeah I think I pretty much since I was young always felt for the underdog. I always wanted to help or be there for the people pushed aside or weak. I have always seemed to favor those misunderstood, vulnerable, or weak to a greater extent than others and felt the need to help. I think I feel the need to do what I can to help those people. I feel like it makes me feel happy when I do so. My mind is all over the place though I got a mental disorder. But my emotions and things I go through internally are pretty hidden from people which is why some people may think Im unemotional my sister and mom think I have it easy because Ive been fortunate financially and it seems to them like family and friends favor me so they think Im spoiled and have it easy like a “lil princess”. And they see me as non chalant and careless but they wouldn’t know the problems I have internally that bother me day to day. Which yeah I am fortunate my grandparents love and care for me. But most people around me, even my grandma who is closest to me doesn’t really know the extend I am feeling everyday. I don’t know if that’s my moon in Aquarius or the 12th house. But yeah sorry I rambled on too much lol you can see I don’t have many people to talk to 😂
