I had to chuckle a little bit when I read the OP, I don't why.SoulOfABird, don't give cook book descriptions so much weight. If they were precise, then everyone with an Aqua Moon would have the same emotional makeup, for example. That's just ridiculous.
Yes, sure, all Aqua Moons are more similar to each other than to people who have a different Moon sign but the sign is not everything.
For example, let's imagine five women have the same Gucci bag.
The first doesn't want to damage it and locks it away without even unboxing it. That would be something H12 like = hidden and locked away.
The second woman doesn't care so much about the bag or is not that careful with it. She throws it in the corner when she comes home, the bag has holes and some parts are torn and once she accidentally stepped on it with her pointy stiletto and her best friend burned a hole in it with a cigarette while they were drunk. This would be something afflicted by Mars.
The third woman is a member of a royal family and she decides to give her bag up to a charity auction. The bag is being sold for a much higher price than the actual value. Jupiter expands everything it touches, stands for generosity and is the significator of kings.
The fourth woman tears the bag apart. She takes the leather and makes a wallet out of it. Pluto destroys, transforms and also stands for rebirth.
The fifth woman is an older lady and has had the bag for the past ten years. The bag still looks very good. Saturn stands for stability, durability and long term endeavours.
What I'm trying to say is that all of them had the same bag, all five bags looked identical when they came out of the factory but they all have a different story in the end.
The planets in signs are similar to that. The essential dignity of your Aqua Moon will be the same to every other Moon in that position but the accidental dignities are important, too.
Your Moon conjunct Jupiter in Aquarius is different than someone's Moon in Aquarius conjunct Mars.
Since you're so worried about your Pisces Moon love interest not being compatible with your Aquarius Moon, here is an example:
Paul Newman had a Pisces Moon. He was married to Joanne Woodward and she has an Aquarius Moon. They were married for 50 years.
Sure, she has a Pisces Sun and he had an Aquarius Sun so they had a Sun/Moon double whammy.
But their Moons were also their respective Descendant rulers. Both had their Sun conjunct the other's Descendant ruler, they were each other's ideal partner.
If you took five strong couples and analyzed their synastries and looked for patterns, it would give you more insight than a cook book description.
Rulerships, aspects and houses are as important as signs. We are not one planet's sign. We are all of our chart.
