I have a few theories but would love to hear from Scorpio Moons, specially women.

I'm sure this has been discussed several times here before, but couldn't find any topic.

This movie is a bad one but the example is apt and so I will use it:

In "Twilight" when Edward meets with Bella for the first time in the lab,he is overcome by all sorts of intense feelings. He doesn't know whether to care for her or kill her?

So he avoids her and she gets the impression that he doesn't like her.He even decides to not show up for school for days on end to avoid her(very extreme reaction is a Scorpio trait).

But when he does eventually meet her, notice one clear difference; he is the first to greet her and HE is fully in control and composed.Whilst she(on the other hand) is caught offguard and surprised by him

And that is how it works really as Scorpio is ruled by Mars/Pluto and IS the predator in the night. Scorpio is NEVER the prey. THEY want to have the element of surprise and not be the one whom is caught with deer eyes in headlights etc.

Ofcourse Edward struggles to read her mind and this is another Scorpio trait; Scorpio is always trying to read you and figure out what you are about. And not necessarily what YOU tell them you are about. But what THEY glean to find out what you are about.

His(Ed's) inability to "read" Bella annoys him and has him switch periodically off/on on her to such an extent that she complains :"Your mood swings are giving me whiplash!" And that's how Scorpio energy can be too i.e Greatly annoyed if they can't "suss" you out etc.

Could this be why Nep/Pis/12th house people are such a big draw to them? Which I strongly suspect the character of Bell is based off on? Because Pisces is like one gigantic question mark in their solar 5th house of romance.

Add to this,the mind-bending Gemini is on the cusp of the solar 8th house of sexuality. And this to me suggests that Scorpio is VERY much about "detecting" and uncovering stuff.

As a Venus in Scorpio,when I really like/lust for someone(the former are the same to Scorpio) the feelings come to me like a whale diving in water and I am very close to the sidelines.I literally feel like I am going to fall over.

So I never want to come across "ridiculous" or "dorky" to the other person and I fight to control myself.Even if it means I come across "icy" or "assholy" to them, it matters not. I want to put a lid on my feelings and not be at anyone's "mercy"(that's powerlessness in my books)

When a Scorpio responds in a consistently "extreme" way to you i.e cold, snappy or actively avoids you for a long period of time etc. There is usually more to the story .

They are trying to resist from tearing your clothes off or metaphorically "biting" you etc. LOL. So let them cool off and get ahold of themselves.

I didn't quite catch on to this myself when many Scorpio type folks(mostly Sun/Mars and Moon there) in the past received me pretty badly.

I assumed I was not their cup of tea. As they were so mean to me-this despite my friendliness to them.One even called me "chick with a stick" .

But little did I know that this same guy would be the one to write me a long text message years later to apologize and profess feelings he has bottled up for ages.

Truth is that I myself don't just act that way to people I am indifferent towards. Usually I am casual and very bubbly to people I am not interested in romantically.

It's the ones that stir up intense sexual/love feelings that make me feel uncomfortable and I end up being funny towards etc. And that's because I feel that they have this invisible "power" over me

I think she gets confused by me, I can feel that sometimes she thinks: "WTF why he's not behaving the way I wanted!?"

Ideally,Scorpio imo is energy that is drawn to discovery and depth. And this is the textbook.But this is not always reality.

Its really not a select "few" that can get their attention. They are prone to lust more so than others actually (Mars-ruled).And many can go looking for love in al the wrong places(like everybody else)

But for those who are a lot more self aware or "serious", they look to attract those who are like minded.And not those whom they can manipulate and "change".

So those do look out for people who are layered(not dramatic),insightful(not smooth talkers),intimate(not constantly seeking physical gratification at the expense of connection) etc

If his feelings are strong, platonic friendship is not easy nor possible sometimes. At-least not from their POV.

He chose you because he likes you. I was speaking from the point of view of what he is dealing with inside.

As a Venus in Scorpio,I have not dated the types you described.But i have been drawn to sincerity and consistency from all the ones I liked.

Growing up I fit the text book Edward scenario as a Scorpio sun. I wrote in my diary something aboht a middle school crush that I posted on lindaland like five or six months ago. It was about my reaction towards this guy looking at me funny and doing bad boy tricks in the hall way. I’m not into that at all now. But when I was in middle school it was taboo which Scorpio likes and it was cute how excited I got over something an air or fire sign would’ve considered so minuscule.

Since then I’ve dated tons of guys and I’ve seen their perspectives towards relationships and it is not at all as fascinating as you’d think it to be. I don’t fall in love anymore. I reached that point where yeah he’s hot or yeah we have intellectually stimulating conversations but will it last? No. Andvenus virgo likes things that last. So that’s a turn off. Yeah I’m uptight like virgo venus suggests. I wouldn’t look to the moon or sun I’d look to the Venus.

As a Libra Moon I would tell her to choose the faraway one and still love her to death. Because it's the most logical choice. 🤷🏻‍♂️
But I would probably move 1000 miles away to be with her. Best of both worlds.
