I can see I have ( as an example) Scorpio 3H and Aries 8H but apparently Scorpio rules my 4H and Pisces rules my 8H. Does this mean I have Scorpio influence in both 3H and 4H??IP: Logged |

I need an expert to explain this too! From my understanding, it’s the planets that do the ruler ships, not the signs. Zodiac signs only give specific traits; it’s the direction of the planet’s energy. For example, if Mars is in the 3H and Aries is on the 8th house cusp: Mars is pulling 8H themes into 3H. I would interpret this as the native having a very quick, impatient manner of speech and writing. Perhaps the native argues with family/siblings often about inheritance matters and wants to take over the matter. Or it could be as simple as the native is famous for writing novels about bon vivants fighting off amorous lovers, living off others’ money and fighting Death.

If the cusp of 3rd and 4th house is Scorpio or Aries...yes. This is how I think of it. An empty 3rd house- Sco is ruled by Mars-Plu. So the native tends to read/"listen" between the lines.Always searching for underlying meanings in words/gestures or pauses between sentences etc. These people tend to live in their heads due to the emphasis of Mars/Pluto rulership in mental pursuits When ruling the 4th, the native may have grown up in an easily-excitable or tense environment i.e people where all up in their feelings and where they read too much into what people said or assumed things that were not said. Does all this sound painfully familiar? IP: Logged |

And Libra is on the cusp of the 3rd house? Mars and Pluto are the joint rulers of your 4th house ... because it has Scorpio on the cusp, and that sign is ruled jointly by Mars and Pluto. Jupiter is the co-ruler of the 4th, because it rules anything that is (permanently or temporarily) in the sign of Sagittarius - and some degrees of Sagittarius are in your 4th house. So .. Mars, Pluto and Jupiter are all able to use Neptune (in Sag/4th) for their own purposes. ... Jupiter because it rules the sign that Neptune is in - and Mars + Pluto because they rule the house that Neptune is in. ... But, Scorpio will set the tone for your attitude/approach to 4th house activities - because it is the sign encountered first by anything which enters that house.. And, bear in mind that intercepted signs are always in houses which contain the degrees of three different signs. So, houses can have two cusp rulers - and some may have as many as 4 co-rulers. This question cannot be answered accurately unless/until your Asc is nailed down precisely. If you're still using a Virgo rising chart as the basis for your question you won't get answers that pertain to you.------------------ Soul Stars Astrology by The Declinations Guy Expert birth chart rectification IP: Logged |

Do you have to be so "Cappy"?! LOL I know what you're saying though! I just can't wrap head around my chart!! It fits, but it doesn't and it's so frustrating!! Only aspects that actually fit to 100% are those that Uranus make.
