Just for a moment--
Most gently, what do your parents (as people) really have to do with this decision you are making?.. You are a whole and sole-individual.
If you feel an attachment (on your part) has been "too strong"??-- then HERE's your beautiful huge chance to {psychologically/mentally} be able to sort out in yourself {on the inside, your mindset}, and be able to individuate 'self' and self's own ability and power, as different and independent from them.
This can happen as I said in the 'mindset' realms. A whole new reframe.
This is more of a 'psychological' FIRST than your physical departure from their home, CoV.
Don't go angry.. Find your inner-core, gather up and focus your dreams, and just "go". (I bet they will admire you very much for it. And you will gain an inheritance from them too, once they pass?) .. TEST yourself again. You Can Do This.
Your parents have been supporting you on all levels.. I'd feel pretty certain (from other things you've said) that if you needed a 'safety net' or even a tiny financial bail-out {--IF! current economics has not slammed them into poverty??}, that they'd still come through for you. These are not heartless people (from what you've said).
As you prosper in the coming decade, then, you'll be able to in-turn make sure they're okay in their elderly years. It's the right thing to do. And there are Rewards in doing that.
Do you have people you already know in that new region where you're going? I'd bet you'd make a great new set of friends if you don't. When you and your friends are able to 'come together' as a unit, you'll be each other's helpers and supporters. 
That's super exciting, ChildofVenus. REALLY exciting.

the bulldozer, that helps by clear your landscape of the things that had needed change-- in prep for the new vision/goal that you have. Saturn is the new builder-supervisor, with the bones and blueprint for constructing for your new life in a way that can sustain you.
