I'm really into crystals and gemstones and wear/use different ones at different times. If I had to pick one favorite, even though it's not one I keep on my body, I'd have to say Larimar (Dolphin Stone, Pectolite). It's the most healing stone I've ever used and you can get a very accurate, reliable description of its energy and power from The Crystal Bible.

You should more so ask what the person´s strongest Planet is. That is often more telling than their Sun or Rising Sign.

Yeah, right. I just wasn't sure that everyone knows their strongest Planets so I didn't mention it.

However, everytime I was recommended Scorpio gem stones I hated them. All gem stones that are supposed to suit Scorpios feel very unpleasant and somewhat heavy to me. And I have a stellium in Scorpio!

With classical Cancer gem stones it's completely different - I love all of them. My rising sign is Cancer (although I calculate my Ascendant in a special way) so I pay more attention to the Ascendant and even the decans of the sign it falls to.

So you can write the decan of your Ascendant, too, if you want.

My mum loved crystals and gemstones. She was the one who bought them for me. I want to visit a shop, and pick one of my own out, when I can afford to.

I love my precious metals of silver and gold! Especially since I have an allergy to nickel.

FAVES

1. Clear quartz! I attracted new lasting friends. That were good on my confidence and self esteem. I use to keep them in my backpack when I went to community college.

2. Hematite, keeps me grounded and safe

3. Rubies-makes me feel Royal and Powerful

4. Citrine good sunny vibes, first stone boyfriend chose for me.

5. Amethyst mellows me out and helps me relax

Where´s your Mars? Or the ruler of your Ascendant? If these are in Feminine Signs, or strongly aspected to Moon, Venus, and/or Neptune, this will indicate a highlighting of the Yin/Feminine.

First bought and started wearing a piece of Azurite back when 21. Within a couple of days of wearing it, I started getting a weird head ache in my forehead area. I´m not prone to headaches whatsoever. Usually only get them if I´m sick and I wasn«t sick in the slightest.

I offhandedly commented to my partner at the time, something like, ¨I think this stone is giving my headache.¨ My partner, who was not so spiritual or metaphysical minded as me at the time, made fun of me and said something like, ¨ooh magic rocks...¨ On a hunch, I said, ok, let´s try an experiment. Lay down, I´ll put the stone on your forehead and let´s see if anything happens or not. Thinking I would be proved completely and utterly wrong, she agreed.
Within less than 10 minutes, she started getting a headache in the forehead area. She didn´t make fun of ¨magic rocks¨ after that.

Some years later, I bought a book written by Ken Carley called ¨Gems and Stones: Based on the Edgar Cayce Readings¨. There is a section in there when Ken talks about his earlier days as a ¨rock hound¨ where he made a living from finding, buying, working on, and selling minerals and stones, and before he had any interest in Cayce, spirituality, psychic or nonphysical matters.

He talks about a very odd experience where he found a large load of raw copper ore (azurite and malachite aka forms of copper carbonate are found in copper ore deposits), loaded up his pickup with his find, took it back to his shop, and started working on it cutting it with his saws.

A little while after working on it, he started to get a metallic taste in his mouth and then started to get a splitting headache in his forehead area. Thinking he was likely dehydrated, he took a break to rest and drink some liquids. The headache persisted, but what came next was quite strange. He had a customer come in and somehow he knew ahead of time everything the customer would say, almost like he was reading their minds. Later on when talking to his spouse and telling her about this, he could also hear her thoughts and some of these he said weren´t so flattering.

Cayce never mentioned anything about headaches, but his source did advocate psychically sensitive, spiritually attuned type people to wear azurite to help strengthen and center their intuitive attunement. His source oddly though, usually referred to it as Lapis Linguis, and only narrowed it down to Azurite when people didn´t understand what they were referring to.

A couple years ago, I went camping with a Pisces Sun friend of mine and his girlfriend, and brought along a good size piece of Azurite , and let him borrow and wear it. I didn´t tell him much about the stone, but wanted to see if he would notice anything. He kept saying in the middle of the night, ¨Do you hear that? What is that noise?¨ I couldn´t hear anything, and I asked him what did it sound like. He said it sounded like a high pitch chirping sound almost. I laughed and said, ¨oh, that´s the Azurite.¨

Later on after we got back from the trip, I handed him Ken Carley«s book where he talks about handling Chrysocolla which is another copper based stone related to azurite and malachite, and his experience with ¨hearing¨ (nonphysically/etherically) it «chirp« in a high pitched tone. And indeed, Cayce«s guidance also talked about Lapis Linguis«s ¨singing¨.

I love pearl, jade, red aventurine and red agate and with these stones my favorite metal is silver, which I wear every day.
