This year Mars will be retrograde for 66 days!

From 9th Sept 28 degrees Aries to 14 Nov 15 degrees Aries.

For me Mars is my 7th house ruler and it will be stuck for basically 2 months in my 7th house.

Is that a good or bad thing? What should I expect?

Because Mars likes being in Aries I think its good news. Sounds like healthy masculine energies need to come to the surface for people to think about.

i think it will be ok as long as Mars goes direct...once Mars goes retro and its in Aries it could feel frustrated, as if not able to act, and act/do is what Mars does, especially in Aries..
so i would say in the 7th possibly arguments in the marriage/partnerships...few intense moments are to be expected...

I'm not looking forward to this. I'm an Aries, and I don't like Mars or Venus retrograde - if it's in my sign, then it's also going to go back and forth with all of my cardinal.

Well, I'm single. Would that be a good time for me to meet someone? During Mars transit through my 7th house it will sextile my natal Venus, Moon and Mars (they are in 5th house).

Good catch, it will be in my 4H, seems like a great fertility placement, not that I am trying to get pregnant.

When Mars is Rx people are tired. They lack the fire they use to function, especially in Western society. Men who are "men's men" can be especially frustrated. Men in new relationships who aren't familiar with astrological principals might think this lack of drive or Mars expression has to do with the current partner stifling his Mars energies.
I'm thinking in the 7th house this might be stronger. I think it would be a good idea to clear your schedule of any extra duties during this time. I'm thinking I won't be feeling up to anything extra at any rate.
