For people with 8th House planets: "Something the matter?" asked the bartender of the young, well-dressed customer who sat staring sullenly into his drink. "So why are you sitting there looking so unhappy?" asked the bartender. "So far this month, not a cent!" I was reading some and I figured how relevant this must be for 8th house planets, especially Jupiter, hehh, though some might argue "Saturn" would want "more", miserable c*nt that Saturn  . On a serious note, I have 8th house venus opposite 2nd house jupiter (RX). I was taught a lot of useless and counter-productive views on money growing up, and spent a big chunk of my 20s getting myself into and out of debt. I've had opportunities to mingle with the wealthy but had never been "one of them" per se. But now as I deal with my Saturn return, I'm older and wiser and plan on breaking that mold and cultivating the kind of wealth that can be passed down for generations..The guy I'm seeing has Cancer Sun conjunct Jupiter in 8th opposite Saturn in 2nd. He's a trust fund baby but his family plays all sorts of manipulative games surrounding money. Being the Cap in the situation my fantasy is to swoop in and save him by recruiting him to be my business partner. Of course the male ego is very fragile, so I'd need to make it seem like he's helping me rather than the other way around. Really we'd just be helping each other. But I'm willing to give him that sense of perceived dominance, as long as it's balanced in other ways. IP: Logged |

8th House focused Synastry's are quite interesting. A lot of triggering that tends to go on. Damnit Anony, why couldn't you have incarnated into the body of a hot, lusty female, and then we could deal with this tension the proper way...lol  As to the other, more serious stuff.. I'm connected to a human animal body which has ego built in. I long ago accepted that as long as I am connected to such a being, that I'll always have at least some ego attunement. I use to worry and fret about this--I use to monitor and judge every "impure" or "ego like" thought, feeling, etc. Nope, no more, what you see, is what you get. With that said, I'm somewhat looking forward to the body getting chopped in half, and me coming back in a unlimited form i.e. sans human animal body ego ala my guidance dream, and I swear to goodness, if you're still around, I'm going to manifest and pull some pranks on you. I've found ego can wither away simply by witnessing, try it if you're interested, but I think neither of us come from that "witnessing" bunch, this is much much better(if there are no blockages), whatever it is, its gud, u trigger me like no other(not tryna downplay ur own influence), not really though, I haven't done my own "work" for a week now, and the first few days I was in it , I was like "This is hell, how do they live???
