However, where the chart owner is born influences my interpretation of the astrological indicators - so, (usually but not always) I gather that information before attempting to comment on a chart image.

I agree that the natal houses should be used as the backdrop for progressions since (as stated earlier by Kannon) "progressions are the phantoms of past transits" ... so the progressed chart for age 1 is the transit chart for the first day after birth and the progressed chart for (say) age 42 is the transit chart for 42 days after birth.

And, during the first 3 months/92 days after birth (a 92 year lifetime of progressions), few chart owners will move far enough from their birth location to change the house cusp locations of their natal chart. ... So, the progressions that echo those first 92 days of transits will indeed be against the backdrop of the natal chart (except for the few people whose location did change significantly).

So what are some aspects to look for?

You mentioned Progressed Moon and angles, so will look for that today.

The most blaring thing I see is Progressed Moon conjunct Transiting Uranus...also, the Pogressed Moon will be conjunct the MC at the end of it's progression (do I assume the green lines connected to progressions show progressions for a year?) Edited: I see that it is..

I'm seeing my progressed Moon will be conjunct my MC this time next year.

From my research, this seems significant! Anyone know about this transit or have experience with it?
