Looking at this file, I can see certain natal patterns that I find interesting to follow and compare to in light of transits/life happenings.

In that way, I put weight on them in the sense that they add to the picture and makes the ongoing interpretation of transits/meditation into my chart more interesting - but I am more concerned with discovering curiosities parallel to my expanding understanding of basic astrology, rather than adhering strictly to certain doctrines or 'using' the lots for 'predictive' purposes.

In terms of reading the parts/lots in themselves as they 'should' be read according to doctrine, it is a complicated matter that only people who are very well-versed in traditional astrology should venture into. The Hellenistic astrologers were not very unified in how they used the lots, so there are many things one need to take into consideration when trying to wrap ones head around them.

Try experimenting with the Part of Self-Undoing (aka the Part of Treachery) ... Ascendant + Neptune - Sun

In The Spiral of Life, Joanne Wickenburg and Virginia Meyer describe it as "where self-centredness invites treachery or deception from others." ... And state that "learning to face reality where this Part falls, and developing true concern for others, makes this part a potential for spiritualization of the personal consciousness".

NO, I don't.
My Part of POF, 2nd House Cusp, venus and Moon all within 2 Degree of Orb.
I see not Lucky in 2nd House related matter.
Transit, Eclipse etc happens but no effect yet.

Please go to the Extended Chart Selection and select the chart drawing type: 'Astrodienst with Arabic Points'.
When the chart drawing is displayed, click on the link 'Additional Tables (PDF)'.

So ... your Ascendant at 28Leo18 = 148deg18 ... your Neptune at 14Sag47 = 254deg47 ... your Sun at 15Scorpio49 = 225deg49.

Don't be afraid of triggering language used. It is archaic. For example, the Parts of Assassination, would be how you "FEEL" .. when in personal and character-attacks.

It's mostly dealing with either personal ego or emotions. Not necessarily literal death, etc.
