I was kind of freaked out to see that the Gemini's mother has a similar chart to mine. I don't know her birth time so I'm not sure about her rising sign. The only difference is that my Moon and Mercury signs are different. IP: Logged |

There's an attraction for sure but unless there are other aspects for long term compatablity then I whould just put it off as an inital attraction.Example: I can tolerate Cancer female emotional freakouts..and give enough space when needed but its not something i'd whould want to do 24/7. For me Cancers are much better if there my boss and I've actually worked well with Cancers. I kind of have an idea of what there level of expectations having been raised by Cancer parents and give them the right amount of reassurance that things are getting done to there level of satisfaction. I just get annoyed when they get all mushy at work thought. True story, I drove out of town to vist my parents this week there typical Cancers there hunkering down during the pandemic in a country home in the middle of nowhere. I caught my mom still working, my Mom's a senior auditor and has people working under her...towards the end of her Zoom meeting all I hear in the background is her saying "don't forget to send in your quarterly goals" to all her staff. I then said to my mom, i'd be annoyed if you were my boss and you said that to me. You said it in the exact same tone the way you'd ask me to clean my room when I was younger. These people are in 40's and have families of there own there not your children and then I left annoyed at my mom. ChildofVenus, I'm currious how close he is to his mom? Being a mutable sign, Gemini can become unsure and need a fixed sign or Earth sign to stable them out. Lets say I'm planning on going on a trip after the pandemic. I'd already plan 50 diffrent options but I become lost in my head going throught the pros and cons of each. Then a fixed or Earth signs comes along reads thought what I've prepared and gives a firm answer. My Planets ========================================= ☉‘ ♊, ☽ ♈, ASC ♑, ☿ ♊, ¡÷ ♉, ¡ö ♋ , ♃ ♒, ♄ ♏, ♅ ♐, ♆ ♑

actually yeah...my ex fiancee was a scorpio stellium/aries moon like my mother, in particular they both had the same venus and mercury in scorpio (though in my ex's case her venus was conjunct pluto) and there's this guy i have some **** going on with whose birthday is the day after my father's and they share sun/mercury/venus and both have leo stelliums (sun/merc leo, cancer venus are the shared placements there, though in this guy's case venus conjunct ascendant, but i don't know my father's ascendant he has a moon/venus conjunction though) 🤷♀️ so that's ****** up to think about 🤣 but i'm pretty sure just them and not anyone else edit: in vedic it narrows down to the same nakshatra for the most part though not my ex's moon or my mother's, my mother has a revati moon same as i do ex was uttara bhadrapada IP: Logged |

No no no no.. NO (shaking head left and right multiple times) I would never like someone that has similar chart to my mother and her whole family or my father's family. Both families' members charts are mainly consisted of Aries, Libra and a little bit of Aqua planets (except for my sweet dad and one aunt). They completely lack earth and if they have a tiny bit of water it's in the wrong places. To me born in a family like that always felt like a punishment. They are too cold inside, calculative, materialistic and superficial (some of them violent too) people, they have betrayed each other for small amounts of money, they don't seem anything like family to me, more like a bunch of strangers who don't like each other but they pretend to do so in order to gain something for free and to be typical so that other people think that they're a normal family. My dad also felt alone in his family for that reason, same for my aunt (but we have each other from a very young age). I always wondered why would I be born in such a family but astrologically wise is probably due to my 4th H Libra and 10th H Aries. I attract nothing like that ☺ but I wouldn't have a problem if I was compatible with them, it would make sense to me if my family members had a mix of water and earth.. Your boyfriend may be compatible with his mother personality wise. Having one harsh aspect with a family member might be different from having it with a lover. An example would be Pluto hard aspects that may bring a strong dislike/violence among family members but so much passion with a lover. IP: Logged |

Yes, at times, and it creeped me out. My dad is a Taurus Sun and Moon, fire ascendant (Sadge). I tend to like Taurus Moon, plus Leo ascendant. One guy is a Taurus Sun/Moon, Venus in Pisces, Mercury in Aries, like my dad. But we also get along well, and he’s a good guy. So.. it just felt weird seeing it at first. IP: Logged |

I share with my dad a composte Gemini Moon and with my mom a composite Pisces Venus which I had them with my ex. I dont get well and I dont like being around Aquarius Suns or other placement because of my mother, which she was too cold to be around her. The mother of one of my ex boy friend was a Pisces Sun, which is why, I think, he was attracted to me. We shared similar placements - Venus/Mars in Taurus, me and his mother a Pisces Sun. Is not only about the placements, but the aspects too. And it doesnt have to be a well experince like, if I have an aspect with my parents it would mean that I will subconsciously want to be with that person. It could mean that the nature of the aspect made me want to repulse the interaction and being your parents, with which you spend many years, you will resent the people with which you share that aspect. The parents of my ex boyfriend are a Libra and a Scorpio and he is a Scorpio and married a Libra. IP: Logged |

Unfortunately, yes. That HAS been the case and it has NEVER worked out!! In their case it's been a mixture of Leo, Gemini and Scorpio and Cancer Mars. I actually made a real effort braking this "habit". It just seems so karmic to me and I am done with all that **** . IP: Logged |

Their synastry is similar to ours his mother's Sun falls in his 11th house. My Sun falls in his 11th house. His mothers Mars is in his 12th house. My Mars is in his 12th house. Her Venus is in his 10th my Venus is in his 10th. I guess maybe our friendship reminds him of the relationship he has with his mother lol.

I would probably get along with his mom we have Venus conjunct Venus, Mars conjunct Mars and my Sun conjunct her Sun, Moon and Mercury. I bet I probably remind him of his mother in some ways. And men who have Mars in Cancer are usually attracted to women who are like their mother. Yes it’s really creepy lol.IP: Logged |

In my youngest, no. Nothing similar to my parents chart at all. When I get older, yes, I have found people who has planets same with my parents feel like a "homey" feelings for me (the mix of Aqua, Leo, Cancer, Pisces, Aries). And it's an important feeling for my 4th house moon. I want to feel homey with my partner. Sometimes also the planets of my siblings (the mix of Gemini, Taurus, Libra, so on).. I have the same venus sign as my husband's Father and the Aries influence, while the venus sign of my husband's longtime ex is the same sign as his Mother and the Scorpio influence. The rest of his exes, not really similar to his parents but his sisters. Husband has Mars in Cancer, meanwhile his Juno is conjunct my Venus, none of his exes conjunct his Juno. So..... IP: Logged |

Both my parents are Virgos, their Suns conjunct my IC (both with Cancer Venus conjunct my ASC). My longest relationship was also with a Virgo who’s Sun was also there and his Cancer Jupiter IP: Logged |

I think there is sometimes some truth to the whole, "you marry your mom/dad" saying. Kind of makes sense. In a straight/bi man's chart, the Moon represents not just the mother figure but also relates to the kind of woman he attracts/is attracted to (along with Venus and DESC). And conversely, in a straight/bi woman's chart, the Sun represents not just the father figure, but also the kind of man she attracts/is attracted to (along with Mars and DESC). I have Libra Moon conjunct Virgo Saturn and Venus in the 7th. My Mom was predominately Venusian--in her 1st House widely conjunct her ASC and a Cap Sun/Merc. My partner is a predominant Venusian--Venus in the 1st and closest Planet to her ASC, and has Cap Rising. IP: Logged |

Honestly.... yes. A bit Oedipal and I've always been embarrassed to admit it, but it's true. My mom is an Aries Moon/Mars/NN/Saturn She also has Venus and Mercury in Aquarius Also her Aries stellium falls into her 10th house I cannot even TELL you the amount of Venus in Aqua people I've dated. Definitely more than 5 throughout my life. My most enduring crush on someone was a person with an Aries Sun/Moon/Mercury and Mars in Aqua Also Capricorn personal placements are my siren's song in a partner (reflecting her H10 stellium and Saturn conjunct her Aries placements) IP: Logged |

We dont do this subconsciously because we are attracted to our parents, but rather because thats all we know, the energy feels familiar to us. Thats why we are attracting the good and also the bad, and the childhood is so important and the role our parents play in our lives matter so much.IP: Logged |

So I bet this is why the Scorpio was with his ex for so long. Because she has a mixture of both his mother and father. I'm thinking that might cut him loose. They would probably like her with him more anyway. IP: Logged |

Also, sometimes our twin soul incarnates as our child or parent. My love and I are aware of a number of our other lives. While we've played various kinds of roles in each other lives--a fair amount has been as each others children and parents. Speaking in the larger Spirit/Expanded self sense more than the singular Soul sense. IP: Logged |

No the contrary I would avoid it, unless the attraction happens unconsciously.Thinking about it, two men I dated had moon in virgo and my father is a virgo sun. So I seem to attract them, there was also a virgo guy in highschool who was chasing me. It was a one sided love though. Also I seem to attract/be attracted to guys with leo placements, and my father has mars in leo. But I avoid dating leo suns, theyre too egocentric for my taste... one placement is ok as long as he doesn´t have a heavy loaded leo chart. Another thing is my moms saturn conjuncts my venus and I have the aspect with a friend and also had it with a guy. And I love this ascpect, it is familiar and feels comfortable. I think many people hate this aspect in synastry.

I wonder why the Scorpio says he likes me when I don’t have any placements like either one of his parents. His ex is a Leo Sun with Venus and Mercury in Cancer. His mom is a Leo Moon and his dad is a Cancer Venus and Mercury. He was with his ex for seven years. So it’s obviously that he likes women who have placements like his mother and father.IP: Logged |

being with someone a long time doesn't mean you like them or they're exactly what you want IP: Logged |
