What do you think of this site that has an app that help rectifying your birth time?

https://astro-app.net/rectification.php?lang=en&appSize=0

It actually rectified my time of birth with transiting Saturn conjuncting the 12th house when we went into quarantine in march 2020. I know we all stayed home in this time, but for me was a total isolation because I live alone and I had little contact to other people until may.

Has anyone tried it?

i looked at it just now, top results were from 10 minutes before-my recorded birth time (10:23 am to 10:13 am)

10 minutes before puts my venus exact on my ascendant but that's about it's a small orb to begin with

I have a recorded birth time of 02:10am, in a hospital that recorded births at intervals of 10 minutes.

So ... fairly sure that I was born between 02:00 and 02:10am.

I have previously rectified the birth time myself ... to 02:09am.

The linked site returned 90 points for a time of 02:09am and 60 for a time of 02:10am. .... But the highest points score was 92 - for 02:05 02:06 02:07 02:08.

However, it also stated that there was not enough hits to be certain of the birth time.

after reading what graham wrote i double checked highest score was 78 and apparently 80 is what would be considered rectified

relatively close though so 🤷‍♀️

also i went with unmarried but in vedic my ex comes up as a first marriage so i'm not sure if i shouldve switched that

For me, it gave me a 70% for the estimated time that my parents gave me and found a 105% for a 5:33 AM. Which puts Saturn in the 12th house.

You can change the +- time to 12 hours and check all the ascendant signs for which will score more than 80%-100% with your major life events.

It has to be over 80%, but most likely 100%.

this is sort of **** when you expand on it i think 🤔 because rising sign can be offset by aspects same with moon and sun and rather than life events it's asking you to go by general descriptions and guess

That's what I was wondering too. If after I find the one most likely to be for major life events, I still have to check for aspects to ASC/DC and MC/IC aspects, right?

Still, with what I found, my ASC progressed to Aries and is in its first degree, so makes sense with how aggressive I've felt lately, even thou I thought that it's because I'm stuck at home.

it didn't even register at all, i didn't even see it

as for the other stuff you said i've actually had quite a lot of people tell me more recently that they're either feeling hostile or encountering a lot of hostility lately

i have an aries moon and i can't say i've been feeling angry at all, and i'm not 100% on everyone else's charts

a friend of mine brought it up rather recently and a few of us discussed it and there was a general consensus that a lot of hostility was either coming their way or people just feeling that way themselves

personally i've been feeling very restless like i don't know what to do with myself and like everything there is that i can do can't hold my attention

like something is coming, you know that feeling in the air just before a bad thunderstorm or something? everything feels like that to me

it's been a while coming and i think it's partially due to my own transits (in vedic i'm in venus-ketu dasha about to head into sun dasha, and it's the first time in my life i'll actually experience a dasha that isn't tied to my first house and colored by venus and ketu so that's a huge change)but also i'm betting there's saturn/jupiter heaviness involved

just my guess

it's really interesting though that you mention it now too, wonder who else has noticed it

aside from all that i think getting an idea of the common margin of error hospitals generally have with birth times would probably be an easier way to figure **** out

i've heard it's typically like 15 minutes or so at most from a doctor friend of mine, but that if it isn't a rounded up number it's likely the correct time

mileage my vary with that one

nakshatra helpful if you try it with vedic then check the nakshatra your ascendant (lagna) would fall in

earlier shifts mine to one that isn't quite fitting 🤷‍♀️

also i like legit can't remember what year my grandmother died so i was just guessing on that one

also yeah aspects and stuff would still be important to look at, but that's why i was underwhelmed by the whole "look at this list of unaltered ascendants what fits?"

With +- 50 min it gives me many options, but mostly around known tob. If I go +/- 2 hour, it suggests me to choose myself from two AC by description and goes further from it. “Automatic rectification” button gives more precise result with Scorpio AC, but this way my chart looks scary.

For me it didn't work that option. It says that the events or characteristics I checked didn't fit with any transits.

I think that option is only for the time frame of each ascendant.

Regarding hostile behaviour, I think the transits play a part in it too. Mars in Aries was conjunct my Mercury last year and I was so annoyed by anything around me. I felt better when it got out of orb.

So, for the time of birth for you that have the correct one through birth certificate or you are sure of it, it gave you high points to your chart?

I don't have my time of birth for sure. My dad says it was in the morning around 10-11, that my mother was at the hospital at 2 am, but she says that she gave birth around 12 pm. I just remember that I was in my teen years when I calculated my ASC online and it gave me a Cancer ASC, but I remember I just entered 12 pm, which I didn't know at that time. I might have just entered what ever came to my mind at that moment. It's so frustrating not knowing the correct time of birth. I went to the hospital to find out, but they only gave me all the other information about my birth like weight.

with 30 minutes my chart goes to 94 for 9:54 am

changes my ascendant nakshatra from chitra to hasta, would have to compare those in vedic

edit: 98 for 9:52 am and a lot before it

In one combination, it didn’t work. The second, it showed something weird. When I changed AC, the button gave a result.

This app put my time zone as GMT 7.30 but it should be GMT 8 so I doubt the accuracy of mine. Anyway my top result is only 67%.

Roughly a year ago (?) I tested this app with known verified charts accurate to less than 1° on the Asc. The app couldn't get either chart to within range of what could be considered a rectified chart for either one. I tested both by putting parameters of birth time half to half an hour of what it should have pinpointed and it couldn't do it.

An app/software is only as good as the programmer and I emailed the programmer to ask if it is based on primary directions and he said yes. That's the problem. Garbage in, garbage out.

Yes, it seems flawed. It gave me an Aquarius ASC with 103 points and a Scorpio ASC with 99 points. I guess it would have been helpful if there was an app like this because finding the ASC when the time of birth is questionable is pretty hard.

It would be very helpful if there’s a correct app like that.
I’m thinking if we should consider AC to be +/- numbers of degrees by default? I’ve never looked at my AC as being precise despite of having tob.

yeah ascendant probably is + or - a couple degrees in many cases but doubtful it's ever more than that

that's only problematic for me with vedic nakshatras because if i was born even 6 minutes earlier than the recorded time my lagna nakshatra changes
