My 4th house is empty but my IC is Cancer.I have always wanted a more traditional family life.My moon is in the 2nd house,that could probably point to me needing stability too.
My childhood was the complete opposite of traditional and with Cancer in my 4th,I always wanted it to be.IP: Logged |

I have chiron conj my IC. I guess you could say I always wished to have a home, a loving family where we care for each other. Who knows if I'll ever have that. Though I don't think it has to be traditional. I can feel close family bonds with people who are not related to me. IP: Logged |

Totally depends on the house cusp + the rest of the chart and dominant planets. I have my Sun in 4 & Saturn and I’ve never wanted a traditional family. I do enjoy spending times with houses & homes. I often see people who will work from home with the Sun in the 4th. IP: Logged |

Family for me is the most important value in life.I don't like modernisms. I won't tell my man to wash the dishes. I won't ask him to do the laundry. I will do everything possible to keep him happy, satisfied, peaceful and content, so as to feel strong to pursue and focus on his businesses. My man's family is very important to me. I will love them so much and I will do anything to keep them close to us. For me my man is the Head of our home. I believe marriages are failing today because of modernisms between couples. I know modernisms are making it difficult for me to find someone who would share the same thoughts and beliefs... Piscean Sun in 4th House. IP: Logged |

My 4th house is very busy, and I must scream YES to your question!
I have my virgo mercury and my libra sun conj NN in my 4th house and I always loved the idea of growing up and start a family since I was little! Somehow i've always been fascinated with the idea of HOME in general (buying the perfect house, make it just like me and my boyfriend.. It's a dream!), but it might be also because I am a cancer rising and taurus moon!
Btw I also have my chiron in 4th.

No, I've never wanted to be anything like a stay-at-home mother, if that's what you mean by traditional. I wouldn't have minded working out of my home, as long as I wasn't worked into the ground, because I was here all the time. I can understand why some people who started working out of their homes, ended up renting an office, when they could afford to. IP: Logged |

My dad was in the air force, and learned to do his own laundry, to mend his clothes, to clean, etc. He's a good cook, too. It only helped his relationship with my mother. She didn't have to do everything, and he took care of her, when she couldn't take care of herself. She told him that he was a good man, that there aren't many of them around. If I had a husband, his family wouldn't come before mine. I feel stifled, just thinking about it. IP: Logged |

I have Venus in my 4th house and I do want a family, but it's unlikely to happen. I'm 36 and have had a really awful love life. Very few people have happy marriages, so it's probably for the best. ::shrugs::IP: Logged |

I happen to have 5 planets in 4th house and I desire neither. I already was born in a joint family though so lets say I already have all of it right from birth so I don't really have any desire for it.IP: Logged |
